Abstract

Patient satisfaction is a customer response to fulfilling needs and expectations. The Rambah Samo I Puskesmas is one of the Puskesmas in Rokan Hulu Regency which has experienced a decrease in the number of patient visits utilizing services. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship of several factors with patient satisfaction with primary health services. Quantitative research type with cross sectional design. The research was conducted in 2023 with a sample of 99 people. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. The results showed there was a relationship between reliability (p value 0.043), responsiveness (p value 0.040, POR 2.751) and there was no relationship between assurance (p value 1.000). It is recommended to the Puskesmas to be able to improve the quality of health services consisting of administrative officers, health worker services, and pharmacy services in order to provide friendly and attentive service to patients and provide clear information to patients.Keywords: Reliability, Patient, Health Center

Abstract

Stroke is one of the neurological disorders that is also an acute vascular injury to the brain. Based on observations on October 1, 2022, of 7 stroke patients in the inpatient room of Awal Bros Panam Hospital (RSAB Panam), 5 patients (71%) had a history of hypertension and 2 patients (29%) had a history of diabetes mellitus. 4 patients (57%) were male and 3 patients (43%) were female. 5 patients (71%) had an age of >40 years while 2 patients (29%) were at the age of 25-40 years. 4 patients (57%) had a history of smoking and 3 patients (43%) did not have a history of smoking but were exposed to smokers (passive smokers). 3 patients (43%) were in the obese weight category, 3 patients (43%) were in the normal weight category and 1 patient (14%) was in the underweight category. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of stroke. This type of research uses quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The sample amounted to 30 people with sampling techniques using accidental sampling. The results showed there was a relationship between age (p value: 0.001), history of hypertension (p value: 0.027). It is recommended that health workers conduct counseling or provide information to the public about secondary prevention efforts (healthy lifestyle, risk factor control) can be done directly in the form of counseling or indirectly in the form of media such as advertisements, posters / brochures. Keywords: Hypertension, Gender, Stroke

Abstract

Complaint handling is one of the factors that affect the quality and satisfaction of clients. Complaint handling can be known by how to handle complaints from patients. Nurses need to improve the quality of nurse response and Complaint handling in serving patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurse response time and complaint handling of families of traffic accident patients in nursing services at the Emergency Department of Dumai City Hospital. Correlational study research design with 98 respondents. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The results of the Spearmen rank test analysis showed that there was a relationship between nurse response time and complaint handling in the emergency room of the Dumai City Hospital (p=0.000 <α). It is expected that the management of Dumai City Hospital can make input in making nursing service policies in meeting patient needs.Keywords: Complaint handling, Nurse, Response Time

Abstract

Teenagers are those in the age range of 10-19 years. Adolescents are also a very vulnerable group that requires special attention to reproductive health. Reproductive health education services need to be carried out at Islamic boarding schools because students cannot consult with health workers directly due to the unavailability of health facilities at Islamic boarding schools; students are prohibited from bringing mobile phones, and they rarely meet with parents. Those who have good knowledge regarding reproductive health are 3.4 times more likely to behave appropriately in caring for their reproductive organs. Knowledge can raise their awareness regarding the importance of correct reproductive organ care. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge of Islamic boarding school youth regarding reproductive health and to be able to apply it in their own lives. The community service method is carried out for students at the Al-Hasani Islamic Boarding School, Pontianak city. The delivery method uses the lecture method with material regarding adolescent reproductive health. The implementation process also uses pretests and posttests to see the success of education in increasing student knowledge. The results of the service found that there was an increase in knowledge of students after being given adolescent reproductive health education. For male students, there was an increase in knowledge from less to sufficient, while for female students there was an increase in knowledge from less to good. Based on the study, it can be concluded that Islamic boarding school students still consider reproductive health education a taboo. There needs to be a separation location of reproductive health education for male and female students so that they are more flexible to ask questions to the presenters regarding reproductive health issues
