Abstract

Safety is an important thing in driving. Security in driving is aimed at the way of driving the vehicle or the security on the vehicle itself. Vehicle assets, especially cars, that are quite expensive or luxurious assets Therefore, safety protections for such vehicles are necessary. Taxi is a valuable asset for the company. To maintain the asset, a good security system is needed. With a good security system, the asset will be protected and the investments invested will not be reduced. By using the prototype method, a tool will be made in accordance to the wishes of the user. The Encludean distance method is used to calculate the distance of the incident and the nearest police station. By using the progress of technology, the progress can be utilized to help the security of taxi owned by a company or personal (online). The purpose of this study is to create a tool that can secure the taxi and its driver of crimes that might occur. IoT (internet of things) can help to secure a taxi since it is able to locate the incident’s location precisely and accurately.

Abstract

Data from the Central Bureau of Statistics shows that during the first quarter of 2014 to 2019, the tendency of Indonesian crayfish export increases by an average of 3.54% in 2019 and reach 7.09 million USD. This number still fails to meet the global market demand caused by poor water quality due to cultivators’ lack of experience and education. Two parameters measured in water quality are temperature and pH. Thus, a device was made using IoT to maintain those conditions in order to increase the viability of the crayfish in the pond. The perceptron method is used to classify water quality based on those parameters. To send the data, ESP8266 is used as an intermediary for Arduino and cloud server. The result is that the information about the ponds’ condition can be seen via a smartphone. The method gives a value of 98.06% accurate in determining water quality.

Abstract

The Language Development Center (LDC) is a language laboratory that annually serves more than 1000 participants in activities such as standardized tests and language courses for students and lecturers. This activity generates a lot of data which is still managed ineffectively and causes several problems in data retrieval, archiving, and monitoring. Therefore, this research was made with the aim of creating a system so that data management in LDC becomes more effective. In designing and building this system, the writers uses the Waterfall method and also implements the Boyer Moore algorithm in the data search process. Boyer moore algorithm helps the data search process more effectively and can search for words in several text-based files at once. The result of this research is a web-based data management information system that makes the data management process becomes more effective and efficient. Abstract

One way to detect breast cancer is using the Ultrasonography (USG) procedure, but the ultrasound image is susceptible to the noise speckles so that the interpretation and diagnosis results are different. This paper discusses the classification of breast cancer ultrasound images that aims to improve the accuracy of the identification of the type and level of cancer malignancies based on the features of its texture. The feature extraction process uses a histogram which then the results are calculated using the Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM). The results of the two extraction features are then classified using K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) to obtain accurate figures from those images. The results of this study is that the accuracy in detecting cancer types is 80%.

Abstract

Security and public order issues are not the responsibility of the government and the police department only, but also the community. The low level of awareness of the urban/sub-urban community in the community security and order (CSO) program is caused by the community's fast-paced lifestyle, focusing on work, and often leaving their houses for a long-term period. An alternative solution that can be offered is to create an application related to the program in the village level. This application, besides being able to support CSO and involve all residents, can also increase mutual trust, communication, and social relations between them. The result is a Smart Warning Application that combines integrated security and order control functions. This application was created to help residents within the village and includes ten functions that are commonly used to provide information to each other in the surrounding area. Government officials can monitor and access the application through the website provided. The existing information will be inventoried and stored so that at the end, it can be used as a reference for making plans to improve public security and order in the future.
