Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the effect of the application of the mathematical realistic approach toward the students’ mathematics disposition. This study used a pre-experimental research design with a sample cluster random sampling technique. The experiment was conducted in SMA Negeri 4 Padangsidimpuan with the overall population of students of class XI IA second semester of the 2011/2012 academic year  which consist of 5 classes as many as 163 students, while the sample of this study was  class XI IA-1 which consist of 31 students. The instrument used the validated questionnaire. The experiment class was given pretest before treatment and posttest after treatment. Learning by using realistic mathematics approach provided significant influence on students' mathematical disposition. This was indicated by t-test were obtained t-hitung = 9.8 and t-tabel = 2.042. The data fulfilled the test of the hypothesis which is if t-hitung ≥ t-tabel then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means there was a significant influence of the application of mathematical realistic approach Indonesia (PMRI) toward the students’ mathematics disposition at class XI IA-1 SMAN 4 Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

Abstract In this study, it was found that the cooperative learning model was effective in increasing the activities and learning outcomes of students in SD Negeri 200101/01 Padangsidimpuan. Learning outcomes are the minimum basic abilities or competencies that a student must have. While student activities are how students respond and respond during the learning process, dare to express opinions and are motivated to learn. The subjects of this research were all sixth grade students of SD Negeri 200101/01 Padangsidimpuan. While the subject of this research is the learning outcomes and activities of students when learning Geometry l: Beam. The purpose of this research is to increase the effectiveness of student learning outcomes and activities. When learning mathematics use PTK with a jigsaw type cooperative learning model which is carried out in three cycles. Keywords : Cooperative Learning Model, Geometry, Beam. AbstrakDalam penelitian ini ditemukan hasil bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif efektif meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik di SD Negeri 200101/01 Padangsidimpuan. Hasil belajar yaitu kemampuan atau kompetensi dasar minimal yang harus dimiliki seorang peserta didik. Sedangkan aktivitas siswa ialah bagaimana respon dan tanggapan peserta didik saat proses pembelajaran, berani untuk menyampaikan pendapat dan termotivasi untuk belajar. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 200101/01 Padangsidimpuan. Sementara subjek penelitian ini yaitu hasil belajar dan aktivitas peserta didik saat pembelajaran Bangun Ruang Balok. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk efektivitas peningkatan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa. Saat pembelajaran matematika dilakukan PTK dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw yang dilakukan dengan tiga siklus. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif, Bangun Ruang, Balok.

Abstract

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers and children (students) have had to undergo an educational transformation that suddenly forced them to embrace digital learning to support online teaching. In the context of mathematics, teachers can use interactive media as a digital device that can trigger active, fun math understanding for early childhood. The purpose of this study was to see student acceptance during learning using interactive puzzle media. This research method is a qualitative method and literature study. The results showed that interactive puzzle media can improve the ability to recognize geometric shapes in early childhood. Because interactive puzzle media is a learning medium that can improve aspects of early childhood development, when using interactive puzzle media children do not feel they are learning but they are playing and by using interactive puzzle media children's learning activities become more fun so children are more interested in learning. follow the learning and the learning outcomes obtained will be better.

Abstract

This research is based on the aim of exploring the various opportunities and challenges that affect the integration of ICT in the teaching and learning process of Mathematics at schools and at universities. This study adopted a descriptive survey design. Three questionnaire instruments, structured interviews and observation sheets were used to collect data. This research was conducted in the Micro Teaching class of students of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary (Syahada) Padangsidimpuan. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings from the research indicate that, the main challenges faced by students as teacher candidates are developing technological skills and knowledge as well as training in the use of ICT in their teaching. The lack of development support found by research for students contributing in technology to integrate their teaching out of enthusiasm. This study recommends that the integration of technology be accessible to lecturers and students for learning which aims to increase access to information and capacity building for enhanced technology integration for students as teachers and will build awareness among training participants integrating ICT in teaching and learning Mathematics. Keywords: Integration of ICT; Teaching and Learning Mathematics.Â
