Abstract

The use of Sang Hyang Sambah in Ngusabha Sambah ceremony in the village of Pakraman Pesedahan is very unique, as one of the means that support the implementation of religious ceremony based on the five basic forms of practice namely: iksa, sakti, village, kala, and tattwa so there are various forms and functions of upakara variety. Sang Hyang Sambah in Ngusabha Sambah ceremony in the village of Pakraman Pesedahan in addition to having its own characteristics, also contains value for the community supporters so that its use is maintained until now. Theories used to solve this research problem are structural functional theory, value theory and cognitive theory. This research is in the form of qualitative design. Based on the analysis, obtained the conclusion as the result of research, as follows: (1) Sang Hyang Sambah is one of the means in Ngusabha Sambah ceremony in the village of Pakraman Pesedahan. Sang Hyang Sambah shaped pelinggih made of plant material and made before the ceremony Ngusabha Sambah. (2) Sang Hyang Sambah in the process of Ngusabha Sambah ceremony has a ceremonial function as a form of sacrifice that is a religious function as  a tool to cultivate belief in God, and social function to enhance a sense of togetherness. (3) The meaning that is contained in Sang Hyang Sambah in Ngusabha Sambah ceremony among others tattwa seen in people’s belief in Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, ethics is reflected in the attitude.

Abstract

There is an inheritance of classical texts written in lontar leaves in the form of poetry and untold. Classical texts in the form of classified prose such as parwa, babad, speech, wariga and usadha. While the classical text in the form of poetry is classified as a form of script that uses songs such as: kakawin, kidung and gaguritan. Gaguritan Mituturin Angga is an essay that contains advice for yourself. The theory used to solve research problems is the theory of functional structure, and value theory. This research takes the form of a qualitative design with a phenomenological approach. Data is collected by using, literature studies, and text studies. After the data is collected, the data is analyzed with qualitative descriptive methods.Based on this analysis, the ethical value of Gaguritan Mituturin Angga emphasizes the importance of children showing an attitude of filial piety to parents and other creatures as an application process / practice of the teachings of Tri Kaya Parisudha. Social value Gaguritan Mituturin Angga emphasizes good behavior in life, especially when faced with complicated problems involving the social field, the value of yoga education emphasizes the control of the mind of all temptations both temptations of destiny and outward temptations of others, the value of wiweka emphasizes the ability to distinguish -different, weighing, and finally choosing between good and bad, and divine value emphasizing the importance of understanding and mastery of characters that build the human body as a form of identity, especially Hindus.

Abstract

In the holy book of Bhagawad Gita that is one of Hindu’s holy book that assumed as pancamo weda. In the holy bookk of Bhagawad Gita, there are eighteen chapter which is unity that in each chapter contents holy teaching that should as guidance in human life. One of lesson that written in the holy book is Dharma Yudha Karma that written at chapter II that is Samkhya yoga? At this lesson assumed important explored its existence and how is the form of this lesson. There are some function of lesson of Dharma Yuda Karma that are spiritual function and improvement on life quality through incline of spiritual that have important position in the society. There are some education value that contents inside as follows ethic education value, ritual education value and tattwa education value that taken from Hindu’s doctrine self.

Abstract

Guidance on Hindu teachings is poured in the legacy of Hindu literary works in the form of stories or Hindu mythology, such as stories of Babad, Tantri, the epic Mahabharata and the Ramayana. The literary works that are inherited certainly have features in them, one of which is the Tantri story. From the various Tantri stories that exist, in this study raised one of the Tantri stories entitled Batur Taskara. In essence, this story tells about the occurrence of the law of cause and effect from the actions of the previous Batur Taskara. This scientific work in the form of descriptive qualitative design. This scientific work is purely studying texts. Data were collected using document study techniques and interview techniques. After the data is collected, the data is analyzed through three stages namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on this analysis, conclusions are obtained as a result, as follows: (1) The structure of the Batur Taskara story includes, synopsis, themes, plot, characters, background and message of the story. (2) The teachings of Hinduism contained in the Batur Taskara story are the teachings of Yoga, Panca Satya, Sad Ripu and Karmaphala
