Abstract

This study aims to develop learning set in the Integral calculus in the form of instructional design or study the concept of the volume of an Integral calculus rotating object that has a potential effect in improving student creative thinking skills based on model submission and problem-solving. The study used the Borg and Gall model development research with the stages of the development of learning design ranging from analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This study used the subject of 34 students of the University of Mathematics Education Study Program Hamzanwadi, which programmed the Integral calculus course consisting of 6 males and 28 females. Data collection using product guidelines or product validation sheets, product practices, and posttests to measure practicality and potential effects product. From the results of the data analysis, instructional design is drafted and designed based on the filing and problem-solving model of products that meet the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of products and feasible to implement. The product developed is also a potential in enhancing the students' creative thinking skills with a N-Gain of 0.73.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi persepsi mahasiswa calon guru matematika tentang pendidikan karakter melalui keteladanan TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid. Studi ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif eksploratif, dengan responden 42 mahasiswa calon guru matematika di Universitas Hamzanwadi Lombok Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup dengan skala likert dan telah divalidasi (validasi ahli). Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan Moderat Regression Analysis (MRA) pada taraf signifikansi 5% (α = 0,05). Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa: (1) persepsi mahasiswa calon guru matematika tentang pendidkkan karakter melalui keteladanan TGKH. Muhammad Zainudin Abdul Majid dikategorikan Baik; (2) ada pengaruh pengetahuan mahasiswa terhadap persepsi mahasiswa tentang pendidikan karakter melalui keteladanan TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid; (3) ada pengaruh pengetahuan mahasiswa dimediasi keaktifan keluarga mahasiswa dalam organisasi NW, keaktifan mahasiswa dalam organisasi NW, dan dukungan perguruan tinggi terhadap persepsi mahasiswa pendidikan karakter melalui keteladanan TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid; dan (4) ada peningkatkan pengaruh pengetahuan mahasiswa dimediasi keaktifan keluarga mahasiswa dalam organisasi NW, keaktifan mahasiswa dalam organisasi NW terhadap persepsi mahasiswa. Kata Kunci: pendidikan karakter, keteladanan, persepsi mahasiswa CHARACTER EDUCATION THROUGH EXEMPLARY OF TGKH MUHAMMAD ZAINUDDIN ABDUL MAJID: PROSPECTIVE TEACHER’S PERCEPTION Abstract: This study aims to explore the perceptions of mathematics’prospective-teachers about character education through exemplary of TGKH Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid. This study is a descriptive exploratory study, in which the respondents were 42 mathematics prospective-teachers at Hamzanwadi University, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a likert scale and has been validated (expert validation). The data of research were analyzed descriptively and statistically (inferential statistics) with Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) at a significance level of 5% (α = 0.05). The results of study show that: (1) the perception of mathematics prospective-teachers about character education through the examplary of TGKH Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid is categorized as "good"; (2) there is an effect of mathematics prospective-teachers’ knowledge on the perception of character education through the examplary of TGKH Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid; (3) there is an effect of mathematics prospective-teachers’ knowledge mediated by family activeness of mathematics prospective-teachers in the NW organization, the activeness of the mathematics prospective-teachers in the NW organization, and the support of higher education institutions for the perception of character education through the examplary of TGKH Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid; and (4) there is an increase in the effect of mathematics prospectiveteachers’ knowledge mediated by family activeness in the NW organization, the activeness of mathematics prospective-teachers in the NW organization on their perceptions. Abstract

AbstractTujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan bahan ajar matematika SD di Masa Pandemi Covid 19 berbasis pendekatan saintifik. Metode pengembangan bahan ajar matematika SD di Masa Pandemi Covid 19 berbasis pendekatan saintifik menggunakan metode langkah-langkah penelitian pengembangan (Research and development) yang dikembangkan oleh Dick and Carry, biasa dikenal pengembangan ADDIE. Langkah-langkah pengembangan tersebut terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu: 1) Analysis (Analisis), Design (Desain), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), Evaluation (Evaluasi). Teknis analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar pedoman wawancara, lembar penilaian bahan ajar, dan lembar angket respon siswa terhadap bahan ajar. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan penilaian oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, dan bahasa bahwa, kelayakan bahan ajar matematika berbasis pendekatan saintifik mendapat nilai validasi yang sangat valid, nilai Kepraktisan bahan ajar matematika SD berbasis pendekatan saintifik oleh guru kelas VI adalah sangat praktis, serta respon peserta didik mencapai 85 %. Hasil nilai respon peserta didik dikonversikan dengan tabel respon peserta didik adalah X > 85 %. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa respon peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar matematika SD berbasis pendekatan saintifik adalah sangat efektif, sehingga layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di masa pandemi covid 19 baik cecara daring (dalam jaringan) maupun luring (luar jaringan).  Kata-kata kunci: Pengembangan, Bahan Ajar Matematika SD, Pandemi Covid

Abstract

This study aims to determine student perceptions of the effectiveness of communication and collaboration in online learning mathematics during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study was an ex-post-facto with an exploratory, descriptive approach. The sample of this study was 26 students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at the Universitas Hamzanwadi. The respondents of this study were 26 students of Mathematics Education at Hamzanwadi University, five males and 21 females, which were obtained using the convenience sampling technique. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The instrument used is a closed questionnaire with answers that are degraded according to the Likert scale and validated by experts. The research data were analyzed descriptively and inferential statistics. The results showed that (1) the perception of mathematics education students was 58% of students giving a negative response to every question about the effectiveness of communication and collaboration in online learning; (2) ineffective communication and collaboration in online learning with an average student perception score of 2.16; (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between communication and collaboration in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic with a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than the alpha test value of 0.05 (0.05); (4) the relationship of communication and correlation in online learning is strong or high with a correlation coefficient value of 0.677.

Abstract

Since Indonesia participated in the Program for International Students Assessment (PISA) and the Trend in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMMS) in 2000, the mathematics test results have never been satisfactory. Even until 2018, the results were still unsatisfactory. In other words, the test results are stagnant. To improve the results of these tests, the government has issued a policy of minimum competency assessment (AKM) or known as the Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK). One of the tests in it is the provision of questions that are included in the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) category, as are usually given on the PISA and TIMMS tests. Training for teachers in HOTS-integrated learning tools is needed to prepare schools or madrasas to face HOTS-integrated learning. The service partners are all teachers at MA Assawiyah Pringgasela Timur. The community service is on 7-8 August 2021, which 17 teachers attend. The method used is lecture and demonstration. The result of community service activities is that MA Assawiyah teachers gain knowledge about the basic concepts of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), implementation of HOTS in learning planning, and measuring HOTS in students. This can be seen from the learning tools that have been compiled into the HOTS category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in students' conceptions between those taught by problem solving and conventional methods, in students who have field independent (FI) and field dependent (FD) learning styles. good when viewed from the cognitive style of students. The type of research that will be conducted in this research is quantitative research with experimental model. The population in this study were all students of the 8 Pringgabaya State Elementary School in the 2020/2021 academic year, and the sample consisted of 2 classes, namely: Class V (20 students) and VI (21 students). Data collection techniques used are documentation techniques, questionnaire techniques and test techniques. The conclusions in this study include: (1) There is an influence between students' conceptions of the learning methods given during learning. The concept of Field Independent students with the Problem solving learning method is better than the conception of Field Dependent students with the Conventional Learning method; (2) The conception of students with Fiel Independent cognitive style has a greater mean (average) when compared to the conception of students with Fiel Dependent cognitive style, in other words the conception of students with Fiel Independent cognitive style is better when compared to the conception of students with Fiel Dependent ; (3)Students' conceptions with problem solving methods have better conceptions when compared to students' conceptions with conventional learning methods; (4) There are conceptual differences between students who have Field Independent cognitive style when given treatment with problem solving learning and conventional learning methods; (5) There is a difference in conception between students who have a Field Dependent cognitive style when given treatment with problem solving learning and there is no difference in conception when students are treated with conventional methods; (6) There are differences in students' conceptions between those who have Field Independent and Field Dependent cognitive styles when given learning treatment with problem solving methods; (7) There are differences in students' conceptions between those who have Field Independent and Field Dependent cognitive styles when given learning treatment with Conventional Methods.
