Abstract

Hidayaturrahman Islamic Boarding School NW Manggala organizes formal education at the junior high and high school levels. After graduating as santri who continue to tertiary education and some who quit education and work to help parents. Therefore, the provision of skills is needed capital to be independent. The provision of learning skills obtained at school is completed at a minimum because the teacher (teacher) does not have an entrepreneurial background. This dedication is done with the aim that the students have the ability in the cultivation of oyster mushrooms. The method used in this activity is the diffusion method of science and technology. With work procedures, namely 1) planning, 2) action, 3) mentoring, 4) evaluation. The result of this activity is that this service activity is able to improve the skills of students in the cultivation of oyster mushrooms, increase the interest and motivation of students in terms of entrepreneurship.

Abstract

[Title: Improving Student Cognitive Learning Outcomes using Cooperative Learning Model Type Group Investigation]. The purpose of this study was to improve student cognitive learning outcomes using the Cooperative Learning Model Type Group Investigation in class X MIA 2 students of SMAS NW Mataram in the 2018/2019 academic year. The subjects of this study were 15 students of class X MIA 2. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) consisting of two cycles. Observation sheet of learning implementation is used for each meeting to find out the implementation of learning steps according to the learning implementation plan observed by 2 observers. Test instruments of 20 multiple choice questions and 5 description questions were used in this study to find out the improvement of students' cognitive learning outcomes in each cycle. The results showed the implementation of learning in the cycle I (1) the first meeting reached 63.63% with a good category and the second meeting reached 88.8% with a very good category, (2) the cognitive learning outcomes of students in cycle 1 obtained an average value 59 with the classical completeness value achieved 46% of the incomplete category, while in cycle II (3) the first meeting of the implementation of learning reached 72.72% with a good category (4) the second meeting reached 94.44% with a very good category, and for results cognitive learning students obtained an average value of 72 with a classical completeness value achieved 76%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the Cooperative Learning Model Type Group Investigation can improve cognitive learning outcomes of class X MIA 2 students of SMAS NW Mataram in the 2018/2019 academic year.

Abstract

Online learning is a national policy as a strategic step to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The quality of the learning media used by lecturers is to influence the effectiveness of online learning. Therefore, training is needed to strengthen lecturers' skills in developing interactive media effective in online learning. This community service aims to improve the biology education lecturers' knowledge and skills regarding interactive media design in online learning. Participants of this activity were 27 Lecturers of Biology Education at FSTT Mandalika University of Education. The training activity is carried out in three stages, namely (1) Preparation, (2) Implementation, (3) Reflection / Evaluation. Training activities are held online / webinar on Saturday / 25 July 2020 at 07.00-12.00 WITA with a series of events, namely opening, remarks from the Head of the Biology Education Study Program, delivery of training materials, discussions, conveying impressions and messages. The training activities were carried out well, even though there were some shortcomings. This is supported by the participants' messages at the end of the activity, namely (1) 100% of the training participants gave positive responses such as feeling happy, enthusiastic, enthusiastic, and helped by the holding of this training activity; (2) 75% of participants gave suggestions so that similar training activities could be carried out periodically at the beginning of preparation for each semester. In the end, the participants have the knowledge and skills in designing interactive media in online learning

Abstract

Kopra merupakan salah satu komoditas tanaman perkebunan bagi masyarakat Lombok Utara. Petani kopra hanya memanfaatkan daging buah kelapa, sedangkan air kelapa tidak dimanfaatkan dan terbuang dengan percuma sebagai limbah. Air kelapa merupakan bahan utama pembuatan Nata de Coco dan minuman kemasan yang bernilai ekonomis. Program IbM dilaksanakan dengan tahapan yaitu survei lokasi produksi kopra; koordinasi dengan pengurus kelompok petani kopra Sumber Rezeki; persiapan ruangan, alat dan bahan; sosialisasi dan penyuluhan program IbM; pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan Nata de Coco dan minuman kemasan. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah (1) masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk mengolah air kelapa menjadi Nata de Coco dan Minuman Kemasan; (2) Nata de Coco yang dihasilkan dengan karakteristik yang ketebalan ± 08-1,8 cm; tekstur kenyal; warna putih; (3) Minuman Kemasan layak konsumsi.

Abstract

Gili Trawangan is rich in beaches and tourist spots underwater charming. Means oftransport in GiliTrawangan is cidomo, speedboat and bike. Smoothness and comfort traveled in dyke is strongly influenced by the quality of service of the coachman cidomo, speedboat driver and guide. Therefore, the necessary training and coaching programs for people of foreign languages in GiliTrawangan tour players. KKN PPM program is conducted in stages: (1) Selection of Participants KKN PPM students; (2) The debriefing student participants KKN PPM; (3) The survey location; (4) Socialization KKN PPM program; (5) debriefing tour players; (6) Training and mentoring 2 times a week for 3 months.Training and mentoring, held as many as 25 meetings. At the beginning of training, team training intensifies Vocabulary and selanjutkan team tenses material intensify and Speaking. Results of the assessment showed significant improvement appointment: (1) On Vocabulary capability, as many as 3 people categorized as Very Good, 25 Good category, 2 category Not Good. (2) In tenses capability, as many as 26 people categorized as Good, 4 categorized Less Good. (3) In speaking ability, as many as four people categorized as Very Good, 25 people categorized as Good, 1 Good Less category.

Abstract

Telah dilaksanakan pelatihan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) bagi guru di SMA Negeri 1 Sukamulya. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan, yaitu pelatihan (in service training/IST) dan pendampingan (on service training/OST). Pada proses IST peserta mendapatkan materi yang berkaitan dengan penelitian tindakan kelas, sedangkan pada proses OST peserta didampingi dalam melakukan penulisan naskah PTK. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang tujuan utamanya adalah memberikan pemahaman tentang penulisan karya ilmiah mendapat apresiasi yang baik dari pihak sekolah. Kehadiran guru dalam kegiatan mencapai 80% dari total semua guru yang direncanakan terlibat. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan peserta nampak bersemangat, hal ini dapat dilihat dari antusiasnya para guru dalam mengikuti seluruh kegiatan pelatihan, baik dalam pemberian materi maupun pada proses diskusi atau tanya jawab.

Abstract

Kekalik merupakan salah satu penghasil tahu terbesar di Kota Mataram. Selain produk utama yang diinginkan berupa tahu, industri tahu juga menghasilkan produk sampingan berupa limbah cair, limbah padat basah, limbah padat kering dan limbah gas. Minimnya pengetahuan yang dimiliki kelompok pengrajin tahu Kekalik menjadi kendala dalam mengelola limbah produksi tahu secara baik. Pengolahan limbah cair tahu menjadi Nata de Soya dapat mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan atau permasalahan lingkungan. Program kemitraan ini diharapkan akan mampu membina pengrajin tahu untuk memproduksi Nata de Soya dan menghasilkan satu jenis minuman komersil yang berbahan Nata de Soya dan siap untuk dipasarkan dengan nilai ekonomi yang bersaing.Prosedur kerja dalam proses IbM ini dibagi menjadi beberapa tahap yaitu (1) Korodinasi mitra; (1) Persiapan alat dan bahan; (3) Penyuluhan; (4) Pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan Nata de Soya dan minuman kemasan. Peserta dilengkapi dengan VCD tutorial. Pelaksanaan IbM beserta luaran yang dihasilkan yaitu (1) Tim IbM telah menyiapkan alat, bahan dan lokasi pelatihan pembuatan Nata de Soya; (2) Pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan Nata de Soya dan minuman kemasan telah dilaksanakan 4 kali dengan 15 peserta; (3) Tim IbM mensosialisakan konsep, tujuan dan teknik pelaksanaan kegiatan IbM kepada masyarakat; (4) Pelatihan dan pendampingan dilakukan dengan teknik demonstrasidan praktik; (5) Peserta memiliki pemahaman dan keterampilan yang cukup baik dalam membuat Nata de Soya dan minuman kemasan; (6) Peserta telah menghasilkan Nata de Soya dengan ketebalan ± 2 cm, warna putih dan tekstur kenyal; (7) Peserta telah menghasilkan minuman kemasan berbahan Nata de Soya yang enak dikonsumsi.

Abstract

Gili air merupakan surga untuk wisata bawah laut dan memiliki sarana transportasi utama yaitu cidomo, sepeda gayung dan speedboat. Pada area pantai dan spot favorit di gili air, ditemukan pedagang asongan produk kreatif asli Lombok. Kelancaran dan kenyamanan berwisata di gili air sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pelayanan para kusir cidomo, penyewa sepeda, supir speedboot, guide, dan pedagang asongan. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan program pelatihan dan pembinaan bahasa asing bagi masyarakat pelaku wisata di gili air. Program pelatihan bahasa asing akan diberikan secara berkelompok berdasarkan sektor jasa yang ditawarkan sehari-hari. Peserta dilatih dengan materi bahasa asing yang aplikatif atau kalimat-kalimat yang sering digunakan dalam melayani wisatawan pengguna jasa kusir cidomo, penyewa sepeda, pemandu wisata, supir speedboat dan pedagang asongan. Pelatihan akan dilaksanakan 2 kali seminggu selama 3 bulan. Peserta difasilitasi pula dengan buku pedoman bahasa inggris praktis. Pelaksanaan dan luaran KKN-PPM ini dirincikan sebagai berikut: (1) buku panduan praktis bahasa inggris untuk pelaku wisata Gili Air sudah diterbitkan dengan ISBN 978-602-73458-8-1, (2) pelaksanaan KKNPPM telah dipublikasi di media cetak Lombok Post edisi 22 Agustus 2017, (3) mahasiswa peserta KKN-PPM telah diberikan pembekalan untuk mempersiapkan kompetensi dan penguasaan teknis kegiatan, (4) Kepala Desa Gili Indah telah memberikan izin pelaskanaan KKN-PPM, (5) pelatihan dilakukan dua kali dalam satu minggu dengan teknis mahasiswa mengunjungi lokasi pelaku wisata menjalankan profesinya, (6) pendampingan dilakukan empat kali dalam satu minggu dengan teknis mendampingi pelaku wisata dalam melayani wisatawan asing, (7) kemampuan bahasa inggris masyarakat pelaku wisata mengalami peningkatan seperti penambahan penguasaan kosa kata (vocabulary), menggunaan kalimat dalm berkomunikasi bahasa inggris (speaking) dan tata kalimat yang lebih terstruktur sesuai grammer/tenses.

Abstract

Program pelatihan bahasa asing diberikan secara langsung di lokasi pelaku wisata menjalankan profesinya masing-masing. Peserta dilatih dengan materi bahasa asing yang aplikatif atau kalimat-kalimat yang sering digunakan dalam melayani wisatawan pengguna jasa kusir cidomo, penyewa sepeda, pemandu wisata, supir speedboat dan pedagang asongan. Pelatihan dan pendampingan dilaksanakan setiap hari selama 1 bulan. Peserta difasilitasi pula dengan buku panduan praktis bahasa inggris. Kegiatan KKN-PPM telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni-Agustus 2018 dengan hasil capaian yaitu: (1) buku panduan praktis bahasa inggris bagi pelaku wisata Gili Meno sudah diterbitkan dengan ISBN 978-602-50418-9-1, (2) pelaksanaan KKN-PPM telah dipublikasi di media cetak Lombok Post edisi 17 Agustus 2018, (3) mahasiswa peserta KKN-PPM telah diberikan pembekalan untuk mempersiapkan kompetensi dan penguasaan teknis kegiatan, (4) Kepala Dusun Gili Meno telah memberikan izin pelaskanaan KKN-PPM, (5) pelatihan dan pendampingan  bahasa inggris dilakukan setiap hari dengan teknis mahasiswa mengunjungi lokasi pelaku wisata menjalankan profesinya dan mendampingi pelaku wisata dalam melayani wisatawan asing, (6) kemampuan bahasa inggris masyarakat pelaku wisata mengalami peningkatan seperti penambahan penguasaan kosa kata (vocabulary), conversation dan tata kalimat yang lebih terstruktur sesuai tenses.Building a Community of Active English Communication in the Gili Meno Tourism Area, LombokAbstractForeign language training programs are provided directly at the location of tourism actors carrying out their respective professions. Participants are trained in applicable foreign language material or sentences that are often used in serving tourists using cidomo coachmen, bicycle renters, tour guides, speedboat drivers and hawkers. Training and mentoring are carried out every day for 1 month. Participants were also facilitated with practical English manuals. KKN-PPM activities have been carried out in June-August 2018 with the following results: (1) a practical English guidebook for Gili Meno tourism actors has been published with ISBN 978-602-50418-9-1, (2) implementation of KKN- PPM has been published in the Lombok Post print media August 17 2018 edition, (3) KKN-PPM participant students have been provided with training to prepare competency and technical mastery of activities, (4) Head of Gili Meno Hamlet has granted KKN-PPM implementation permit, (5) English language training and mentoring are carried out every day with technical students visiting the locations of tourism actors carrying out their profession and assisting tourism actors in serving foreign tourists, (6) the English language skills of the tourism actors have increased such as additional vocabulary mastery, conversation and sentence structure which is more structured according to tenses.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship learning and support for the family environment give positive impact in building students' knowledge, interest and skills in the field of entrepreneurship so that they can produce graduates who are creative, innovative,productive,reliable,quality, independent, self-controlled and competitive.This study aims to determine the influence of knowledge and family environment on student entrepreneurial attitudes.This study is a descriptive exploratory study with 56 respondents as students of biology education at Mandalika University of Education.The research instrument used is a closed questionnaire with degraded answers according to the likert scale and has been validated (expert validation).The research data analysis used was inferential statistics with multiple linear regression at 5% significance level.The results of the study  showed that (1) the knowledge and attitudes of student entrepreneurship had a percentage of 88.00% and 78.35% in the Very Good category,while environmental support had a percentage of 68.20 in Good category; (2)there is an effect of knowledge and family environment on student entrepreneurial attitudes (F=7,245 p=0,002<0,05); (3) knowledge and family environment simultaneously affect the entrepreneurial attitude of students by 21,5% and the remaining is influenced by other variables or factors (R square=0,215). Therefore it can be concluded that the collaboration of student knowledge about entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial family environment activities has a positive role in developing student entrepreneurial attitudes.
