Abstract

IPA merupakan salahsatu proses dalam pembentukan tingkah laku guna mengarahkan siswa agar berkompeten dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan secara proses ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, siswa harus memiliki keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Namun, keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa masih tergolong rendah, sehingga digunakanlah pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Desain penelitian adalah kuasi eksperimen menggunakan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD se-Kecamatan Kramatmulya. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan SDN II Ragawacana sebagai kelas eksperimen serta SDN Pajambon sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes berupa tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif serta non tes berupa observasi kinerja guru, observasi aktivitas siswa, catatan lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa secara signifikan, dengan nilai rata-rata gain sebesar 0,329. Sementara pada pembelajaran konvensional, nilai rata-rata gain sebesar 0,150. Sehingga, pembelajaran berbasis proyek lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa.

Abstract

Sains learning is one of the processes in the formation of student behavior that leads the students to be competent in solving problems in a scientific process. Therefore, students must have creative thinking skills. However, student's creative thinking skills are still relatively low, so that project based learning is used. The purpose of this research is to know implementation of project based learning to creative thinking skills. The reserch design is quasi experiment by using nonequivalent control group design. The population in this research is all of students in grade V on all of Kramatmulya subdistrict. The sampling skills in this research is using purposive sampling technique with SDN II Ragawacana as experimental class and SDN Pajambon as control class. The instrument in this research is using tests in the form of tests of creative thinking skills and non tests in the form of observation of teacher performance, observation of student activities and field notes. Based on the results of the reserch can be know that project based learning has a positive effect on improving student's creative thinking skills significantly, with an average gain of 0,329. While in conventional learning, an average gain of 0,150. So that, the project based learning is better than conventional learning in improving student's creative thinking skills.

Abstract

The research objective was to analyze teachers’ perceptions in fostering elementary school students’ creative thinking through science learning media. The data analysis was expected to help teachers find out science learning media in developing students' creative thinking skills that can be used in learning activities as a complement to books that have been used following the characteristics and the surrounding environment. The research method was qualitative research with data collection techniques conducted through interviews and questionnaires. The research subjects were 12 elementary school teachers who used science learning media to implement learning activities. The research results showed that students could use science learning media in developing creative thinking, but it had not been implemented optimally. Therefore, it was crucial to be able to develop it. In addition, the science learning media could be developed based on elementary school students’ characteristics in the concrete operational stage and the scope of material related to the environment around students. Science learning media can be displayed in digital form to develop students' creative thinking.
