Abstract

Dengan perkembangan dan kemajuan teknologi dapat membantu mendukung kreativitas dan meningkat kompetensi siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan, salah satunya adalah dengan pelatihan desain grafis sehingga siswa mampu menghasilkan karya yang bermanfaat. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengarahkan siswa ke arah kegiatan yang positif, mendukung kreativitas dan meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dengan dalam bidang desain grafis informatif. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan memberikan pelatihan kepada siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan SMKN 7 Kota Batam pada jurusan multimedia, rekayasa perangkat lunak dan teknik komputer jaringan (X Learning) tentang pemahaman dasar-dasar teknik dan pembuatan desain grafis informatif dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Canva yang dilaksanakan mulai dari persiapan, survei, pelaksanaan dan pembuatan laporan. Pelatihan desain grafis informatif yang dilakukan sangat bermanfaat untuk mendukung kreativitas dan meningkatkan kompetensi dan inovatif serta berpikir kreatif siswa searah dengan model pembelajaran di era industri 4.0.

Abstract

The design of this tool is to help overcome anxiety in receiving package deliveries, so that having this tool can provide a sense of security for home owners when they are not at home when the package being sent arrives. This Dropbox package is designed with several security components including a fingerprint sensor (Finger Print ZFM-20) and Keypad. Finger Print functions to open the door of the dropbox by the home owner. Apart from that, you can also open the dropbox door by using a PIN that is entered into the keypad. The keypad function is to input the last 6 digits of the homeowner's delivery receipt number after receiving the delivery receipt number. For goods delivery couriers, if the courier wants to put a package into the dropbox, the courier must enter the 6-digit receipt on the delivery package. If the receipt number entered matches the homeowner's receipt number, then the dropbox lid can be opened so the courier can enter the package. The homeowner will receive a notification when the package has arrived via SMS. The result of testing this tool is the creation of a sensory-based intelligence system that combines several sensors to control Dropbox Package access

Abstract

Purpose: Promotion and marketing methods for Batik Kelembak are currently carried out conventionally and are limited, ineffective, inefficient, and costly. and very limited time. Promotion and marketing based on digital marketing with a website as a promotional and marketing medium for Batik Kelembak is the right solution because promotion and marketing can reach wider locations, is effective, efficient, can reduce costs, is not limited by space and time and can be done anywhere and at any time just take a longer time. Methodology: Community service activities were implemented in November 2024. Community service activities were implemented in Kelembak Village, Nongsa District, Batam City. This community service activity is in the form of socialization and training by providing an understanding of the importance of digital promotions and marketing websites. The implementation method in the Community Service Program includes the survey, website creation, socialization and training, evaluation, mentoring, and reporting program implementation program as a whole. Results: The Kelembak village community can carry out promotions and marketing through future business development by using a web-based digital marketing strategy for their batik products so that it can explore the sale of batik products locally, and national and international answers to the challenges of the global economy. (John, 2022). Limitation: The expansion of market reach is expected to increase the potential sales of more humidity batik products, so that the income earned becomes maximum. When income increases, the people of Kelembak village will be better able to maintain the continuity of their business and help improve the economy in Indonesia. Contribution: Digital marketing can help the Kelembak village community expand the market to promote and market moisture batik products and open the insight of the people of Kelembak village to be more motivated to produce and develop their business with a broader reach.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to assist PT SCN in improving its ability in risk management, by minimizing the risks contained in the CMS application. In addition, it aims to provide recommendations some risk action for risks that have been identified. Methodology/approach: Object of this research is PT Sarana Citranusa Kabil – Batam. In order to support its business activities, PT SCN uses a application, called Cash Management System (CMS). This study was conducted using method of case study research. Technique of data collection is in the form of observation. The procedures of this research follow the ISO31000:2018 standard. Results/findings: This study found that (i) there are 20 possible risks, which can disrupt the performance of the CMS and business activities; (ii) 2 possible risks with high level; (iii) 10 possible risks with medium level; (iv) 8 possible risks with low level. Limitations: This research focuses on risk management in the use of CMS applications. The research does not address risks outside of information technology, for example, health and safety environmental issues. Contribution: The result of this risk analysis is a proposed action recommendation based on the impact and frequency of occurrence. Finally, PT SCN can prevent and minimize risks so that the function of the CMS application can run optimally.

Abstract

Purpose: Sales of car spare parts at the Multi Topindo Tanjungpinang Workshop play a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction in after-sales services. Accurate data analysis is required to increase marketing effectiveness, inventory management, and customer satisfaction. One relevant approach is the application of the K-Means Clustering algorithm, which effectively groups car spare part stock data based on the initial stock and final stock. Using this method, workshops can segment stock inventory based on customer preferences by observing what spare parts are sold frequently by comparing them with the initial stock. This segmentation provides the basis for developing a more efficient sales process and precise stock management. Methodology/approach: The research was carried out at the Multi Topindo Tanjungpinang Workshop with system development developed based on the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, which consists of four stages: identifying goals and information needs, working with users to design the system, building the system, introducing a new system, and carrying out classification. spare parts sales stock data by using the k-means method. Results/findings: The results of segmentation obtained through K-Means Clustering will help in identifying spare part groups based on the clusters that are built. In addition, this algorithm plays a role in managing inventory stock, minimizing the risk of excess or shortage of inventory, and increasing overall operational efficiency. Limitations: The system was developed based on the K-Means Algorithm with Python programming language and Django web framework as a sample of data using a car spare parts sales inventory. Contribution: This research contributes to the Multi-Topindo Tanjungpinang workshop, which can take more appropriate steps to meet customer demand, optimize inventory, and ultimately increase customer satisfaction.
