Abstract

Peanut production has decreased, among others, due to cultivation techniques, varieties, diseases and increasingly narrow planting areas. One of the cultivation techniques to increase crop yields is the use of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) and spacing. The research method used was Randomized Block Design, factorial pattern. Consisting of two treatment factors, namely POC concentration (0, 5, 10, and 15 ml L-1 water) and spacing (30 cm x 10 cm, 30 cm x 15 cm and 30 cm x 20 cm), repeated three times. .. The results showed that: (1) there was an interaction between POC treatment and plant spacing on the number of pithy seeds and dry seed weight per plot. Independently, liquid organic fertilizer and plant spacing had an effect on plant height, number of leaves, dry weight of stover, number of filled pods, number of empty pods, percentage of filled pods and weight of 100 seeds, and (2) At a spacing of 30 cm x 15 cm, The optimum POC concentration was 13.24 ml L-1 of water, with a maximum dry seed weight of 1.436 kg plot-1 or equivalent to 2.66 tons ha-1.

Abstract

A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of harvest time and dosage of organic fertilizer application on the yield of carrot (Daucus carota L.). This research was conducted at the experimental garden plants owned by Faculty of Agriculture, University of Winaya Mukti, in Tanjungsari, Sumedang. The height of this location is 850 meters above sea level with type C precipitation (rather wet). This research was conducted from January 2013 to April 2013.The design used in this research was a randomized block design (RBD) with factorial pattern consisting of two treatment factors i.e. the time of harvest (W) and organic fertilizers dosage (P) which were repeated 2 times. The first factor (W) consistedof four levels i.e. (w1) = 90 HST, (w2) = 100 HST, (w3) = 110 hst, and (w4) = 120 HST. The second factor (P) consists of four levels which are (p0) = 0 tonnes haˉ¹, (p1) = 10 tons haˉ¹, (p2) = 20 tons haˉ¹,and (p3) = 30 tons haˉ¹.This  experiment showed that there is no interaction between the application of thechicken coop organic fertilizer dosage with the harvest of the crops of carrot. However, treatment given to the 20 tons haˉ¹ dose of chicken coop organic fertilizer affected the weight of fresh roots, long tubers, the diameter of the bulbs, and the levels of vitamin C. Because the required application of the fertilizer will show the weight of fresh tubers larger, long tubers longer, heavier bulb diameter, and showed an increase in levels of vitamin C.Treatment of HST 100 time harvest affected the fresh tuber weight and the content of vitamin C, because this treatment is as needed; which then will show a heavier bulb  diameter, as well as elevated levels of vitamin C.

Abstract

The continued availability of Chitosan becomes the potential for the presence of Chitosan to be utilized in agriculture, especially to see its influence on soybean growth and yield. The design of the environment is used Complete Random Design, there are seven treatments and repeated 4 times. The combination and interval of Chitosan tested are: A: control; B: 4% chitosan at intervals of 5 days; C: 4% chitosan at intervals of 10 days; D: 4% chitosan at intervals of 15 days; E: 8% chitosan at intervals of 5 days; F: 8% chitosan at 10-day intervals; G: 8% chitosan with 15-day Duncan Test interval of 5% used for advanced tests. Results showed that a combination of concentration and intervals of Chitosan showed an influence on the height of the plant, the number of leaves and the weight of soybean seed Grobogan varieties. The combination of 8% chitosan concentration with 5-day interval is the best result for soy seed weighting per plant which is able to increase the yield by 61.64% when compared to control.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan media tanam yang mampu memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik terhadap anggrek Phalaenopsis fimbriata. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Screen house, Puskopad, Kecamatan Tanjungsari, Kabupaten Sumedang dengan ketinggian tempat 850 meter di atas permukaan laut (Mdpl). Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) sederhana dengan 4 ulangan dan 7 taraf, yaitu A = Sphagnum moss, B = Pakis, C = Akar Kadaka, D = Cocofiber, E = Sekam Bakar, F = Cocochip dan G = Hidrogel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: 1. Berbagai media tanam dapat berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan benih anggrek Phalaenopsis fimbriata pada variabel pertumbuhan jumlah daun, panjang daun, lebar daun dan bobot segar.2. Media tanam akar kadaka memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik pada benih anggrek Phalaenopsis fimbriata pada variabel pertumbuhan jumlah daun, panjang daun, lebar daun dan bobot segar.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk kandang ayam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada, Untuk mengetahui takaran pupuk kandang ayam yang tepat untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada. Penelitian di laksanakan di lahan percobaan Universitas Winaya Mukti Tanjungsari, Sumedang dengan ketinggian ± 800 mdpl, percobaan dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2021 sampai dengan bulan September 2021. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) sederhana, dengan perlakuan takaran pupuk kandang ayam yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan yaitu A = 0 ton ha-1, B= 10 ton ha-1, C= 20 ton ha-1, D = 30 ton ha-1, E = 40 ton.ha -1 dan F = 50 ton ha-1  dan di ulang sebanyak 4 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kandang ayam memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot segar per petak, bobot segar akar, bobot kering tanaman, bobot kering akar, dan nisbah pupus akar. Pada pemberian takaran F (50 ton ha-1) memberikan hasil yang terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot segar per petak, bobot kering tanaman, dan nisbah pupus akar.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to study the effect of cowurine concentration on the growth and yield of caisim (Brassica juncea L). The research was conducted in June - August 2020 in Sagalaherang Kaler Village, Sagalaherang District, Subang Regency. The experimental design used was a simple randomized block design (RBD) with 6 treatments and repeated 4 times. These treatments were: A (without cow urine), B (10 ml L-1), C (20 ml L-1), D (30 ml L-1), E (40 ml L- 1) and F (50 ml L-1). The results showed that the concentration of cow urine had an effect on the number of leaves at the age of 40 DAS and 45 DAS. Cow urine concentration of 20 ml L-1 gave the best results on the number of leaves in the Tosakan variety Caisim plant.
