Abstract

Banks play a crucial role in the economy of a country, especially in developing nations like Indonesia. Commercial banks classified as BUKU IV are the largest banking group in Indonesia and are known for their strong management. This research aims to analyze the influence of capital adequacy, liquidity, bank size, and profitability on credit risk in Commercial Banks classified as BUKU IV during the period of 2015-2020. The independent variables consist of CAR, LDR, BS, and ROA, while the dependent variable is NPL (Non-Performing Loans). Secondary data collected by the researcher from the annual financial reports of BUKU IV commercial banks are utilized in this study, employing a census sampling technique. The data analysis method applied is panel data regression using E-Views 10 software. The research results indicate that ROA has a negative and significant effect on NPL in BUKU IV Commercial Banks. However, CAR, LDR, and BS do not have a significant impact on NPL in BUKU IV Commercial Banks.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of good corporate governance as measured using the size of the board of commissioners, independent commissioners, size of the board of directors and leverage as control variables on dividend policy in property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. This research uses a combination of cross section and time series data. The population from this research is 73 companies and the sample in this research is 28 companies using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used in this research uses the Panel Data Regression method with the help of the Eviews 10 application. The data used is secondary data which can be accessed via the official website www.idx.co.id. The research results found that the size of the board of commissioners had a positive and insignificant effect on dividend policy, independent commissioners had a positive and insignificant effect on dividend policy, the size of the board of directors had a positive and insignificant effect on dividend policy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether financial literacy, investment knowledge and investment motivation affect student investment interest in Lhokseumawe City. The data used in this study are primary data where the data is obtained by distributing questionnaires to students in Lhokseumawe City. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with non probability sampling method. The number of respondents used as samples in this study was 100 people using the Lameshow formula. The data were analyzed using the partial least square method using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of this study indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on student investment interest in Lhokseumawe City with an original sample value of 0.474 and a P value of 0.000, investment knowledge has a positive but insignificant effect on student investment interest in Lhokseumawe City with an original sample value of 0.165 and a P value of 0.111 and investment motivation has a positive and significant effect on student investment interest in Lhokseumawe City with an original sample value of 0.334 and a P value of 0.001. This shows that financial literacy and investment motivation are very important for every student in Lhokseumawe City to increase their investment interest. Meanwhile, investment knowledge, high or low, has no effect on student investment interest in Lhokseumawe City.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) merupakan pendorong utama ekonomi di Indonesia, tetapi sering mengalami tantangan kompleks terkait manajemen keuangan. Artikel ini membahas hasil pelatihan manajemen keuangan UMKM di Aceh Utara, fokus pada pengelolaan, penyusunan laporan, dan pengendalian keuangan. Hasilnya menyoroti pentingnya pemisahan keuangan usaha dan pribadi, pencatatan keuangan yang teratur, serta pengelolaan arus kas yang efektif. Laporan keuangan UMKM menjadi instrumen penting dalam pengambilan keputusan finansial. Kesadaran dan pemahaman tentang manajemen keuangan, penyusunan laporan keuangan yang akurat, dan pengendalian keuangan yang efektif adalah faktor kunci dalam mencapai kesuksesan bisnis bagi pelaku UMKM. Dengan menerapkan praktik-praktik terbaik dalam pengelolaan keuangan, UMKM dapat meningkatkan kinerja keuangan mereka, mengurangi risiko keuangan, dan memastikan kelangsungan operasional bisnis mereka dalam jangka panjang. Dengan menerapkan praktik terbaik, UMKM dapat meningkatkan kinerja keuangan, mengurangi risiko, dan memastikan kelangsungan bisnis jangka panjang.

Abstract

Indonesia, dengan populasi besar dan kekayaan budaya kulinernya, memiliki potensi signifikan dalam sektor ekonomi kreatif, khususnya dalam subsektor kuliner. Artikel ini membahas program pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di kota Lhokseumawe, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan pelaku usaha dalam pengelolaan wisata kuliner. Program ini mencakup pelatihan dan sosialisasi dalam tiga tahap: sektor produksi, manajemen, dan pemasaran. Tahap pertama fokus pada pengolahan roti canai, tahap kedua pada tata kelola kampung wisata kuliner dan kewirausahaan, serta tahap ketiga pada strategi pemasaran melalui media sosial. Hasil program menunjukkan bahwa inovasi produk seperti roti canai beku dan olahan baru dapat meningkatkan daya tarik pasar. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan efektif dalam memperbaiki operasional dan pemasaran, meningkatkan produktivitas, serta memperluas jangkauan pasar. Penambahan pemahaman mengenai tata kelola, sapta pesona, perencanaan fasilitas, dan strategi pemasaran diharapkan memperkuat roti canai di Kota Lhokseumawe sebagai destinasi wisata kuliner dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Local Own-source Revenue (PAD) and gross regional domestic product on regional financial independence in regencies/cities on Sumatra Island in 2020. This study uses secondary data in the form of budget realization reports published at the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance. The sample in this study consists of 154 regencies/cities throughout Sumatra Island. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression using Eviews 12. The results partially indicate that Local Own-source Revenue (PAD) and gross regional domestic product have a positive and significant effect on regional financial independence in districts/cities on the island of Sumatra year 2020.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the determinants of the capital structure of plantation companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this research is secondary data from 22 plantation companies during the research period from 2017 to 2021 so that the observations in the study totaled 110 observations. The method used to analyze the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable is the panel data regression method. The results showed that partially Tangibility had a positive and significant effect on capital structure in Plantation Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Profitability had a positive and significant effect on capital structure in Plantation Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and Liquidity had a positive and significant effect on capital structure in Plantation Companies on the Indonesian Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of cognitive finance, financial literacy, financial planning, and financial satisfaction on behavioral intentions to invest in shares. The research method used in this research is quantitative research. The population in this research is young entrepreneurs from Lhokseumawe City who intend to invest in shares, by taking a sample of 96 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection method in this research is by distributing questionnaires online and directly to young entrepreneurs in Lhokseumawe City. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression. The aim of this research is to find out how much young entrepreneurs in Lhokseumawe City invest in shares. This data was obtained after distributing questionnaires to young entrepreneurs whose criteria had been determined. The research results show that partially the cognitive financial variables and financial satisfaction have a significant effect on the behavioral intention to invest in shares by young entrepreneurs in Lhokseumawe City, while the variables financial literacy and financial planning do not significantly influence the behavioral intention to invest in shares. Based on the research results, the most dominant variable is cognitive finance, which greatly influences young entrepreneurs in Lhokseumawe City to invest in shares.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Influence of Cash Turnover, Inventory Turnover, and Accounts Receivable Turnover on Profitability in Food and Beverage Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study is secondary data from 18 companies over six years. The method used to analyze the relationship between independent variables and dependent variables is the multiple linear regression analysis method. The results show that Cash Turnover has a positive and significant influence on profitability in Food and Beverage Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Inventory Turnover has a positive and significant influence on profitability in Food and Beverage Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and Accounts Receivable Turnover has a positive and significant influence on profitability in Food and Beverage Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Working Capital, Liquidity, and Leverage on Profitability in the Food and Beverage Industry on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study is secondary data from 18 manufacturing companies in the Food and Beverage sub-sector during the 2017 to 2021 research period, resulting in 108 observations. The method used to analyze the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable is the panel data regression method. The results show that partially, Working Capital has a positive and significant effect on the Profitability of Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016 to 2021. Liquidity has a negative and significant effect on the Profitability of Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016 to 2021. Leverage has a negative and significant effect on the Profitability of Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016 to 2021. Simultaneously, Working Capital, Liquidity, and Financial Performance have a positive and significant effect on the Profitability of Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange
