Abstract

This study examines the influence of Local Own-source Revenue (PAD) and gross regional domestic product on regional financial independence in regencies/cities on Sumatra Island in 2020. This study uses secondary data in the form of budget realization reports published at the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance. The sample in this study consists of 154 regencies/cities throughout Sumatra Island. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression using Eviews 12. The results partially indicate that Local Own-source Revenue (PAD) and gross regional domestic product have a positive and significant effect on regional financial independence in districts/cities on the island of Sumatra year 2020.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the determinants of the capital structure of plantation companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this research is secondary data from 22 plantation companies during the research period from 2017 to 2021 so that the observations in the study totaled 110 observations. The method used to analyze the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable is the panel data regression method. The results showed that partially Tangibility had a positive and significant effect on capital structure in Plantation Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Profitability had a positive and significant effect on capital structure in Plantation Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and Liquidity had a positive and significant effect on capital structure in Plantation Companies on the Indonesian Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of cognitive finance, financial literacy, financial planning, and financial satisfaction on behavioral intentions to invest in shares. The research method used in this research is quantitative research. The population in this research is young entrepreneurs from Lhokseumawe City who intend to invest in shares, by taking a sample of 96 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection method in this research is by distributing questionnaires online and directly to young entrepreneurs in Lhokseumawe City. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression. The aim of this research is to find out how much young entrepreneurs in Lhokseumawe City invest in shares. This data was obtained after distributing questionnaires to young entrepreneurs whose criteria had been determined. The research results show that partially the cognitive financial variables and financial satisfaction have a significant effect on the behavioral intention to invest in shares by young entrepreneurs in Lhokseumawe City, while the variables financial literacy and financial planning do not significantly influence the behavioral intention to invest in shares. Based on the research results, the most dominant variable is cognitive finance, which greatly influences young entrepreneurs in Lhokseumawe City to invest in shares.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Influence of Cash Turnover, Inventory Turnover, and Accounts Receivable Turnover on Profitability in Food and Beverage Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study is secondary data from 18 companies over six years. The method used to analyze the relationship between independent variables and dependent variables is the multiple linear regression analysis method. The results show that Cash Turnover has a positive and significant influence on profitability in Food and Beverage Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Inventory Turnover has a positive and significant influence on profitability in Food and Beverage Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and Accounts Receivable Turnover has a positive and significant influence on profitability in Food and Beverage Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Working Capital, Liquidity, and Leverage on Profitability in the Food and Beverage Industry on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study is secondary data from 18 manufacturing companies in the Food and Beverage sub-sector during the 2017 to 2021 research period, resulting in 108 observations. The method used to analyze the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable is the panel data regression method. The results show that partially, Working Capital has a positive and significant effect on the Profitability of Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016 to 2021. Liquidity has a negative and significant effect on the Profitability of Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016 to 2021. Leverage has a negative and significant effect on the Profitability of Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016 to 2021. Simultaneously, Working Capital, Liquidity, and Financial Performance have a positive and significant effect on the Profitability of Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the reaction of the Jakarta Islamic Index stock market to the turmoil of the Israeli andPalestinian war. The data used in this research is secondary data from 14 samples. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The method used to analyze differences before and after the turmoil of war is the paired t test. The research results show that statistically using abnormal returns it can be concluded that there is no difference in the reaction of the Jakarta Islamic Index stock market before and after the turmoil of the Israeli and Palestinian wars with a significance value of 0.184 < 0.05. Meanwhile, by using trading volume activity, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the reaction of the Jakarta Islamic Index stock market before and after the turmoil of the Israeli and Palestinian wars with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. This indicates that there was a change in stock prices after the turmoil of the Israeli and Palestinian war.
