Abstract

When present in a supply chain activity process, there are many different risks that can disrupt the supply chain flow to the point where it cannot operate effectively. As a result, it is necessary to improve supply chain performance in stages and be carried out continuously (sustainably). It is essential to reduce and get around the various risks. This study aimed to mitigate risks in the supply chain activities of tapioca flour products at PT Starch Solution International, Tbk Karawang, West Java, which identified possible risks that may arise in the tapioca flour supply chain. The method used in this study is the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and Quality Function Deployment methods developed to identify and evaluate problems. The Supply Chain Operation Reference dimensions use to determine the business process criteria. Following the completion of the research, Incorporated The finding into the development of potential risk values. These values then establish the priority of risk agents to be mitigated using the House of Risk methodology. The outputs of House of Risk one (1) Utilize as inputs for the subsequent stage of the process. House of Risk two (2) is a framework for risk reduction strategies applicable to various risk sources (risk agents). According to the findings of the research conducted and the calculations performed by House of Risk two (2), eight risk reduction strategies should implement as quickly as possible. The highest priority is determining proper storage conditions in raw material warehouses, strengthening and standardizing invoice-making agreements with suppliers, and being more selective in choosing raw materials suppliers. It reminds suppliers to prioritize the soil suitable for planting, cassava quality standards according to needs, carrying out work and operational routes, and scheduling.

Abstract

Potensi yang dimiliki Bumdes “Bina Usaha” Desa Cinangka sangat bagus dalam mengembangkan hasil industri rumahan semisal pengolahan Emping melinjo. Dari serangkaian program kerja pengabdian terhadap pengelolaan BUMDes “Bina Usaha” dilakukan optimalisasi manajemen pengelolaan BUMDes dan penerapan teknologi tepat guna untuk memproduksi produk UMKM. Metode yang dilaksanakan secara bertahap, diawali dengan memberikan sosialisasi kepada para pelaku UMKM BUMDes “Bina Usaha” terhadap pentingnya pengelolaan manajemen BUMDes dan Penggunaan teknologi tepat guna untuk peningkatan kuantitas dan kualitas hasil produksi. Kemudian pelatihan dan pendampingan penerapan teknologi dalam optimalisasi pengolahan produk dengan menggunakan mesin pemipih biji melinjo. Tahap akhir adalah pelaksanaan pendampingan dan evaluasi dalam ketercapaain akan hasil dari program pengabdian terhadap BUMDes Bina Usaha. Tujuan dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah Peningkatan pengelolaan manajemen BUMDes dan implementasi penerapan teknologi tepat guna yaitu mesin pemipih biji melinjo untuk meningkatkan usaha produksi emping oleh pelaku UMKM mitra BUMDes “Bina Usaha”. Dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diperoleh dampak positif terhadap para pelaku usaha yang berada dalam naungan BUMDes “Bina Usaha” yakni pentingnya teknologi tepat guna yang mampu mengoptimalkan hasil produksi produk UMKM. Selain itu dari hasil kegiatan ini diharapkan perekonomian warga semakin meningkat menuju masyarakat desa yang makmur dan sejahtera.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the inventory management practices utilized in household equipment stores located in Pasar Royal, Serang City, as well as the difficulties that store owners encounter when managing their inventory. This study used qualitative research methods, including conducting in-depth interviews, observing, and analyzing documents from within the store. The findings revealed that the retailers utilized various inventory management practices, ranging from straightforward to more organized approaches. Store owners must contend with several obstacles, including inaccurate demand predictions, supply uncertainty, and a need for more efficient inventory management systems. On the other hand, certain stores have implemented improvement strategies, such as Just-in-Time (JIT) methods and the utilization of inventory management software, which have accomplished the goal of increasing both the overall store performance and the operational efficiency of the store. This study emphasizes the importance of better inventory management practices in achieving efficiency transformation in home improvement stores

Abstract

This study aims to investigate global human resource management (HRM) strategies for addressing multicultural challenges in the digital era. The primary focus is how multinational corporations manage cultural diversity by leveraging digital technologies. To gather information from multinational corporations in Southeast Asia the research utilized a qualitative methodology that included semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and focus group discussions. The findings indicate that incorporating digital technologies, including performance management systems and cross-cultural communication tools, markedly enhances the efficacy of HRM by promoting collaboration and transparency. These technologies also enable cross-cultural training tailored to employees' cultural backgrounds, closing cultural gaps and increasing inclusivity. Policies supporting technology use in HRM include fair training and evaluation guidelines. The findings of this study offer new viewpoints on how technology-based and adaptable human resource management strategies can assist multinational corporations in addressing multicultural challenges in the digital era
