Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the appropriateness of the application of the internal control system carried out at government agencies based on the elements of internal control. The analysis uses descriptive research method and the type of research used is qualitative research. The object of this research is the Ministry of Communication and Information of Semarang Regency. The result shows that the application of the internal control system in the Ministry of Communication and Information of Semarang Regency is in accordance with the elements of the Internal Control System set by the government based on the Government Regulation No. 60 year 2008, but there are some deficiencies such as the number of students internships received exceeds the limit, some employees who perform the main duties of supervision, budgeting, and planning do not have economic education background especially accounting, and warehouse facility provided for documents and belongings are not efficient.

Abstract

Pneumolysin is a protein that plays an important role in cell death and bacterial colonization of Streptococcus pneumoniae. Ceftriaxone, clarithromycin, dan quercetin has been proven (in vivo and in vitro) to prevent the action of pneumolysin. The purpose of this study was to identify interactions between ceftriaxone, clarithromycin, and quercetin in inhibiting the pneumolysin activity through in silico. The 3D structure of pneumolysin was downloaded via RCSB PDB (PDB ID:PQQA), while 3D structure of ceftriaxone (ID:5479530), clarithromycin (ID:84029), and quercetin (ID:5280343) were downloaded via PubChem. Protein preparations were done with Discovery Studio, while ligands were prepared with OpenBabel. The docking process used HEX 8.0.0 and visualization analysis with Discovery Studio. Pneumolysin-ceftriaxone interaction produces 4 hydrogen bonds, 5 hydrophobic bonds, 1 electrostatic bond, and 2 unfavorable residue bonds with a bond energy value -329.98kJ/mol. Pneumolysin-clarithromycin interaction produces 3 hydrogen bonds, 1 electrostatic bond, and 3 unfavorable residue bonds with a bond energy value -311.12kJ/mol. Pneumolysin-quercetin interaction produces 2 hydrogen bonds, 4 hydrophobic bonds, and 2 electrostatic bonds with a bond energy value -246.52kJ/mol. Abstract

ABSTRACTDiscomfort can occur in the environment of school, one of them is thenoise. Noise that occurs when subjects ongoing impact on the learning process,which is one of the disruption of the concentration of students. The research wasconducted at the State Primary School 067240 Medan Tembung District whichaims to find out the difference in the level of concentration towards the studentsbefore and after the noise due to railway crossings.This method of this research is pre-experimental design by using onegroup and pre-test post-test. The sample of this research is also using purposivesampling technique which consists of 58 students. The level of noise wasmeasured by using a Sound Level Meter and level of concentration of studentswas measured using a Stroop Test. Data analysis is using non-parametricstatistical tests (Wilcoxon tes t) and Parametric Test (paired t-test) at the 95%significance level.The results showed that in general the average noise level in theclassroom before and while the train passed the railway crossing exceeds thequality standards that have been established in the amount of 55 dB. Other resultsalso showed that the results of interference score of students before the railroadcrossing with a mean of 13,59 and after the railway crossing at 17,40. Thisindicates that the concentration of students has decreased when compared withpretest posttest. Based on the test results of wilcoxon test is known, there are thedifferences in the level of concentration towards the students before and after thenoise due to railway crossing (p. = 0,001).Based on the results of this research are expected to the school in order toreduce the noise while is coming from the rail traffic. Such as the installation ofblind or curtain on the window class, the use of firm window on the outside walltowards the class which is passing of the train tracks, and the use of noisedampening vegetation.Keywords: The level of the noise, Concentration of the students, Stroop Test,Sound Level Meter

Abstract

Ethylene glycol is a hygroscopic liquid with low volatility. Ethylene glycol is colorless, odorless, has a low viscosity. Ethylene glycol is used as a polyester resin for fibers, a film-making agent, an antifreeze and coolant agent, a heat exchange agent, a waterbased formula, and an unsaturated polyester. The purpose of establishing an ethylene glycol factory is expected to be able to support efforts to save the country's foreign exchange through import substitution of ethylene glycol, and increase employment. Ethylene glycol factory with a capacity of 200,000 tons / year in Batam, Riau Islands. The ethylene glycol production process is carried out through the Dow METEOR process which consists of 4 stages, namely the standard discussion stage, the ethylene glycol formation stage, the ethylene glycol concentration stage, and the product separation stage. The main design is the CSTR reactor, which is used to react ethylene oxide with water to form ethylene glycol with the by-products of diethylene glycol and triethylene glycol. Based on the results of the economic feasibility analysis of the factory, the ethylene glycol plant is feasible to establish with a Payback Period (PBB) obtained of 2 years, an IRR of 22.738%, a Percent Return on Investment (ROI) is 30.59%, and a Break Event Point (BEP) is obtained by 60%. Abstract

Microalga is single cell organism that can live by photosynthesize resulting biomass and other secondary product such as protein, carbohydrate, and lipid by utilizing nutrients in wastewater. This study aims to get the data about the effect of additions of tofu liquid waste to the growth and increase of lipid content in the microalga that cultivated in tofu liquid waste media. Microalga were cultivated by variations in tofu liquid waste adding. The variations are 0,45 liter in every day, 0,9 liter in every two days, and 1,35 liter in every three days. Microalga growth were measured by an object glass, the amount of cell density in every square field calculated using tomacytometer with hand counter where observed under optical microscope. Total lipid content were gained by employ Bligh-dyer methode. The results of this study show the highest specific grow rate of Chlorella sp is 0,08692/day accounted from tofu liquid waste addition in every three days. The highest lipid content is 40,88 % which gained from tofu liquid waste addition in every day. Under unfavourable condition microalga will accumulate more lipid so that increase it lipid content. The highest chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal is 575 mg/mL.

Abstract

Dalam membantu mobilitas masyarakat besar, transportasi umum yang memadai menjadi salah satu langkah tepat untuk memfasilitasinya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk pelayanan mengetahui bersama PT. Kereta Api Indonesia melalui kepuasan pengguna Kereta Rel Listrik (KRL) di stasiun transit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui kuisioner secara personal untuk mendapatkan respon para pengguna terhadap pelayanan pada tasiun transit. Kuisioner ini berisi pertanyaan seputar kualitas pelayanan yang disediakan di stasiun transit. hasil penelitian yang didapat dari 63 orang responden rata-rata memberikan nilai cukup baik pada fasilitas yang disediakan yang diberikan penyedia layanan, dengan nilai sebesar 7,4 poin untuk total pelayanan pada stasiun transit. Dengan diadakannya penelitian ini, diharapkan mutu pelayanan yang disediakan pada transportasi umum semakin meningkat, sehingga akan memberikan kepuasan pada lebih banyak pengguna transportasi.
