Abstract

Implementasi pembelajaran STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) sangat penting bagi anak usia dini karena dapat mendorong anak untuk berpikir kreatif, meningkatkan kreativitas, serta anak mampu mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang terjadi di sekitarnya dan menemukan solusinya. Masalah dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana gambaran implementasi pembelajaran STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) di TK Barunawati Kupang, dengan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran implementasi pembelajaran STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) di TK Barunawati Kupang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dengan subjek yang diteliti yakni 1 kepala sekolah dan 2 orang guru di TK Barunawati Kupang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah koleksi data/pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran STEAM di TK Barunawati Kupang dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi.

Abstract

This research aims to determine "male teachers' perceptions of motivation to become PAUD teachers in Alak District, Kupang City". The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects used were male teachers who actively taught at PAUD institutions. Data collection techniques use interview techniques. The results of the research conducted show that the male teacher's perception of the motivation of a male teacher to become a PAUD teacher is due to his inner calling and love of children, receiving support from the principal and colleagues who have given him their trust to dedicate themselves. in PAUD institutions, in line with this, male teachers realize that the presence of a male figure in PAUD institutions is a substitute for a father figure, and the closeness between male teachers and early childhood children is very close, because the children are comfortable and enjoys playing with male teachers.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to observe the transformation of the campus teaching program in strengthening the Pancasila student profile in early childhood education. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through observations and interviews with 3 principals and 1 teacher in 4 driving schools. The research results show that P5 activities are adjusted to local culture through enjoyable methods such as mother tongue learning, mangrove planting, and art performances. The projects produced include school gardens, flag ceremonies, and art performances. The learning media used include P5 teaching modules, loose parts media, digital media, and specialized media. The challenges faced include media limitations, unstable electricity and network conditions, and teachers' understanding of modules and assessments. The solutions include workshops, the independent teaching platform, and training in making media

Abstract

The Sekolah Penggerak Program launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia aims to improve the quality of education by accelerating schools to become drivers of positive change. This program focuses on the development of students' literacy, numeracy, and character through training for principals and teachers. Its implementation is carried out through stages of preliminary studies, method identification, workshops, and evaluation. The main challenges in this program include teachers' lack of understanding of the Independent Curriculum and limited facilities. However, ongoing training and support from school leaders are crucial for the program's success. The results show an increase in the competence of teachers and principals in implementing the curriculum, which positively impacts the quality of education and student learning outcomes. This program is expected to be a catalyst for transforming the education system in Indonesia, creating an inclusive and high-quality educational ecosystem.

Abstract

Abstract English The independent curriculum is learning where children will be stimulated according to their interests, talents and potentials, early childhood learning with the freedom of learning at the PAUD level has the aim of exploring the greatest potential of educators and students. This study used a type of descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were 4 principals who were driving schools of Rote Ndao Regency. The data collection method uses interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the study showed that the principal's leadership in the implementation of the independent curriculum in Rote Ndao Regency driving schools, as the principal's motivator provided support and enthusiasm for the heads of teachers to accept developing an independent learning curriculum, Principals at driving schools in Rote Ndao Regency also collaborate to improve the development of the independent learning curriculum in this case they collaborate in the preparation of teaching modules and matters related to the independent learning curriculum, the principal also provides training and development, in this case the principal shares good practices and provides ideas related to the independent learning curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the relationship between the intensity of device use (Smartphone) and the language development of children aged 3-4 years in Kelapa Lima Village Coconut Lima Rt 027 / Rw 012 Kupang City. The methods carried out in this research are quantitative research with correlational research design. The subject of this study was a total of 3-4 years old children aged in Kelapa Lima Subdistrict of Kelapa Lima Village which amounted to 50 children consisting of 21 boys and 29 girls. The subject-taking method in this study used Purposive Sampling. Data collection tools use questionnaires and documentation using likert scales. Analytical techniques include: normality test and hypothesis tester. The results of the study found that there is a very strong significant relationship between the intensity of smartphone use to the language development of children aged 3-4 years in Kelapa Lima Subdistrict, Kelapa Lima Village Rt 027 / Rw 012 Kupang City. It can be seen from the coefficient between the intensity of the use of gadgets (Smartphones) to the development of the rhitung language = 0.887> r-table = 0367 with a very strong relationship rate with a significant 0.000 < 0.05.
