Abstract

This study aims to conduct a literature review related to the trend of English for midwifery teaching material in the digital era. The research method used in this study is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. Data collection is done by documenting articles that have similar research. The articles used were 12 national journals indexed by Google Scholar published period 2011-2023. Based on this research, it was found that midwifery English teaching materials are in the form of printed and digital teaching materials. 58% printed midwifery English teaching materials are in the form of booklets, modules, pocket books and textbooks. 42% Digital midwifery English teaching materials in the form of web, android, duolingo applications and google classroom application. Based on the SWOT analysis that has been carried out, there are weaknesses in the existing midwifery English teaching materials, namely that they are less supportive when used independently by students without being accompanied by a teacher and require other technology to access them. Therefore, improvements should be made in the development of midwifery English teaching materials so that they can help students understand the material optimally. This research is expected to provide additional knowledge for ESP English lecturers, especially in the field of midwifery, so as to increase the creativity and quality of lecturers in making midwifery English teaching materials. This research qualifies, elaborates and describes previous research regarding the trend of English for midwifery teaching material in the digital era, based on the searches that have been done no one has conducted this research.

Abstract

Background: Stunting is a major health problem affecting child growth in Indonesia. Posyandu cadres play a crucial role in preventing stunting through nutrition education but often face limitations in accessing information. At the Cihaurbeuti Health Center in Ciamis Regency, a mobile learning application can be an effective solution to enhance the knowledge of posyandu cadres. Objective: To enhance the knowledge of posyandu cadres on stunting prevention through a mobile learning application in the working area of Cihaurbeuti Health Center, Ciamis Regency. The method involves developing a mobile application that includes educational material on stunting prevention and training posyandu cadres to utilize the application. An evaluation is conducted to measure the improvement in cadres' knowledge and the effectiveness of the application compared to leaflets. Results: The results of the service showed a significant increase in knowledge after using the mobile learning application. The average knowledge score increased from 55% before training to 80% after training. The mobile learning application proved to provide interactive and easily accessible information. Knowledge application also improved, with posyandu cadres being more capable of providing accurate education to the community regarding stunting prevention. Conclusion: This program demonstrates that a mobile learning application is an effective tool for enhancing the knowledge of posyandu cadres and can serve as a model for other health education programs. It is expected to have a positive impact on stunting prevention and child health in Ciamis Regency

Abstract

Latar Belakang Kinerja keluarga dalam melaksanakan tugas merawat anggota keluarga sangat penting dalam mencegah dan menyelesaikan permasalahan kesehatan pada keluarga, utamanya pada lansia dengan penyakit Hipertensi yang dapat menimbulkan kecacatan. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mensosialisasikan dan mendampingi keluarga menjalankan lima tugas kesehatan keluarga dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia dengn Hipertensi. Bahan dan Metode Pengabdian ini menggunakan instrumen leaflet serta kuesioner yakni kuesioner lima tugas keluarga dan kuesioner kualitas hidup WHO-QOL BREF.  Media edukasi menggunakan sarana LCD dan laptop, dengan tampilan PPT dan video. Metode dengan ceramah, tanya jawab dalam sosialisasi dilanjutkan FGD dan observasi pemantauan kemampuan keluarga. Kesimpulan: Sebagian besar lansia mengalami peningkatan kualitas hidup setelah dilakukan intervensi pendampingan lima tugas kesehatan keluarga, dibuktikan dengan perbedaan skor kualitas hidup yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pada kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol dari hasil Mann-Withney Test. Saran Pendampingan berkelanjutan oleh perawat komunitas di puskesmas pada saat keluarga menjalankan peran lima tugas kesehatan keluarga dengan lansia Hipertensi.
