Abstract

Nausea and vomiting are normal in pregnant women. However, this condition will change if sustained with a high quantity in a day, so it can disrupt nutritional balance, electrolyte fluids, and can affect the quality of pregnancy. Anti-nausea drugs sometimes can not work effectively when pregnant women continuously vomit, one of the nonpharmacological therapies. The purpose of this study was to measure the effectiveness of ginger drink plus lemongrass compared to lemon plus honey on reducing morning sickness symptoms in pregnant women. This research is a type of intervention research with experimental quasy design. The location used for this research is in the working area of the Bandung Health Center, Serang Regency, Banten Province in May – June 2023. The sample used in this study used a total sampling of 32 pregnant women. Sample selection with purposive sampling techniques. Statistical analysis using independent t test. The results of the independent t test for ginger + lemongrass were p value 0.028 < 0.05, while the test results for lemon honey were p value 0.048 < 0.05 it can be concluded that giving ginger and lemongrass water as well as lemon and honey has an effect in reducing morning sickness and is statistically significant

Abstract

Pain is something that is certain in every delivery, so complementary care to reduce pain intensity is very important to consider. Mozart's music has been studied to activate physiological pathways that can modulate the body's response. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of Mozart's music therapy in reducing the intensity of labor pain. This study was a quasi-experimental design. This research was conducted at the Independent Practice of Midwives Bd Hj. Nining Mutbaiyyah, S.ST Pamarayan, Serang – Banten in May – June 2023. The sample in this study was 30 respondents divided into 15 intervention groups and 15 control groups. Samples were selected by purposive sampling techniques. The intervention provided was the playback of Mozart's music with the title K 448 Mozart every 30 minutes. Analysis using the Mann Whitney U test . There was a difference in the average degree of pain between the control group and the intervention group (6.4 vs 4.5) In addition, the results of the Mann Whitney test also showed a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05 which concluded that there was an influence between the administration of Mozart music intervention in reducing pain in maternity mothers and was statistically significant.

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become a central and popular issue in the health sector because it is one of the supporters in implementing health programs that cannot be reached by the government. One program that really needs CSR collaboration is the issue of Nutrition Post for toddlers suffering from malnutrition or lack of nutrition. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness and significance of CSR programs on improving the nutritional status of toddlers. This study used a retrospective observational method, with case design and control. This research was conducted at UPT Puskesmas Anyar Serang-Banten from January to March 2023. This program is run together with non-government organizations, namely PT. Chandra Asri Cilegon. The sample in this study was 30 toddlers with a proportion of 1: 2, namely 10 toddlers receiving CSR programs suffering from malnutrition and 20 toddlers as a control group. In this study, an analysis of the results of the Nutrition Post CSR program will be carried out with chi square analysis. Based on the results of chi-square analysis, an odds ratio value (OR: 0.4; 95% Confident Interval 0.23 – 0.73; p value 0.001) is produced because p value 0.001 < 0.05.

Abstract

Premature rupture of membranes is the rupture of the membranes before the birth process occurs, either at term or preterm gestation. The causative factors are incompetent cervix, excessive uterine tension, multiple pregnancies, hydramnios, abnormal membrane physiology, predisposing factors such as parity, maternal age, gestational interval, and nutritional status. Complications that arise can include maternal or neonatal infection, premature delivery, hypoxia, compression of the umbilical cord, fetal deformities, increased incidence of cesarean delivery. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect history of premature rupture of membranes and asphyxia on the incidence of premature rupture membranes at RSIA Aulia Jagakarsa 2018. The descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach was used in this study. The sample was taken using random sampling. The data was collected from the medical record—analysis using a univariate and bivariate test. The results show that respondents with PROM at RSIA Aulia in 2018 were 57 people (65.5%), and 30 people (34.5%) did not experience PROM. A total of 31 (81.69%) respondents with PROM have a history of PROM, and 26 (53.1%) respondents with PROM have no history of PROM. The incidence of asphyxia in patients with PROM was 27 (54%) respondents and as many as 30 (81.1%) without asphyxia despite PROM. From these results, there is a relationship between a history of PROM and the incidence of PROM. However, there is no relationship between asphyxia and PROM.Keywords: Premature rupture of membranes, asphyxia
