Abstract

Sukabangun is one of the Sukarami sub-districts in the city of Palembang, South Sumatra, which can be reached approximately 20 minutes from the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic.The targets and outcomes expected from this dedication are the emergence of awareness to utilize Manihot Glaviozii which is rarely used by the society for daily needs, increase business opportunities and create workforce for the local and surrounding society which are still unemployed and teenagers who are no longer attending school and make a mocaf flour as an alternative to wheat flour.The implementation methods of this dedication that is applied includes Presentations and interactive discussions conducted for the targets, namely the residents of Sukarame sub-district, presentation material namely knowledge of processing mocaf flour from Manihot Glaviozii, displaying and giving banners for example mocaf flour, showing a mocaf flour has been processed, digging up the absorption of participants in interactive discussions through question and answer. From the result of this dedication is the residents get the knowledge about the processing of Manihot Glaviozii becomes mocaf flour as an alternative wheat flour so that, it will impact for the economic society in Sukabangun, Sukarame sub-district, Palembang city.

Abstract

Abstract: Performance is a series of conditions that in the end reflected in the resulted output, in quantity or even in quality. This study aimed to determine the effect of job motivation and situatio-nal leadership on teachers’ performance of State MTs Gambut in Banjar district. The data in this study are primary data collected randomly by questionnaires. Multiple linear regression is used to test this effect. The research results showed that motivation affect on teachers’ performance. Because of that, to increase employee’s performance, manager should increase his/her performance first and also understand what motivated them. Keywords: motivation, situational leadership, performance Abstrak: Kinerja merupakan suatu persyaratan-persyaratan tertentu yang ak-hirnya secara langsung dapat tercermin dari output yang dihasilkan baik berupa jumlah maupun kualitasnya.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja dan kepemimpinan situasional terhadap kinerja guru MTs Negeri di Kecamatan Gambut Kabupaten Banjar. Data dalam penelitian adalah data primer yang dikum-pulkan dengan kuesioner secara acak. Untuk menguji besarnya pengaruh ini maka digunakan alat analisa regresi linier berganda. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Untuk itu, manajer dalam meningkatkan prestasi bawahan, me-ningkatkan kemampuan pekerjaannya juga dituntut mengetahui motivasinya. Kata kunci: motivasi, kepemimpinan situasional, kinerja

Abstract

Penelitian  bertujuan  untuk  mengkaji  pengaruh  tingkat  kemasakan  buah, metode ekstraksi yang paling efektif dan efisien, serta interaksi antara tingkat kemasakan buah dan metode ekstraksi terhadap kualitas benih cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescen). Penelitian dilaksanakan di   PT. Benih Citra Asia Desa Penanggungan Wirowongso Ajung Kabupaten Jember dengan ketinggian + 200 m dpl, dengan menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial, dua faktor 3 level dan diulang empat kali. Faktor pertama tingkat kemasakan buah (M) terdiri dari: M1 (buah berubah warna ± 25-50% atau masak morfologis, berwarna orange), M2 (buah berubah warna 70-100% atau masak fisiologis, berwarna merah) dan M3 (buah terlalu masak berwarna merah dan kulit buahnya sudah lunak). Faktor kedua metode ekstraksi (E), terdiri dari E1 (buah dijemur hingga kulit buahnya kering, kemudian diekstraksi dan dikeringkan lagi), E2 (buah segar diekstraksi/dibelah, dicuci dengan air  dan  dikeringkan)  dan  E3  (Buah  segar  diekstraksi/diblender,  dicuci  dengan detergen, dibilas dan dikeringkan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemasakan  buah  yang  berbeda  berpengaruh  nyata  terhadap  parameter  kemurnian benih, dengan rata-rata tertinggi pada kemasakan over riper (M3) yaitu 95,96%. Metode ekstraksi yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata terhadap kemurnian benih, vigor kecepatan kecambah benih, daya kecambah benih dan berat 1000 butir benih. Metode ekstraksi secara basah dan dicuci dengan air (E2) cenderung menghasilkan rata-rata tertinggi terhadap keempat parameter tersebut dan warna benih  yang lebih cerah. Interaksi  antara tingkat kemasakan  buah dan  metode ekstraksi  berpengaruh  nyata terhadap kemurnian benih, vigor kecepatan kecambah benih, daya kecambah benih dan berat 1000 butir benih, dengan kombinasi perlakuan terbaik adalah kombinasi perlakuan buah terlalu masak dan metode ekstraksi dengan buah segar dan dicuci dengan  air  (M3E2)  yang  cenderung  memberikan  rata-rata  terbaik  pada  vigor kecepatan kecambah benih, daya kecambah benih dan kemurnian benih. Kata kunci :    Cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescen), tingkat kemasakan buah, metode ekstraksi

Abstract

Background: The use of latrines in the village is still unhealthy because of the habits of the people who use pit latrines in the river. The impact of not using latrines is causing diseases, causing odor , and cause pollution. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to to determine the relationship between education, clean water facilities, the role of health workers, the role of community leaders, knowledge of using latrines Research Metodes: This type of research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used simple random sampling, the sample was all household in the Sungai Terap 90 people. The analysis used the chi-square test. Results: There is no relationship between education and latrine use, the p-value is 0.957. There is a relationship between clean water facilities and the use of latrines, the p-value is 0.000. There is no relationship between the role of health workers and the use of latrines, the p-value is 0.189. There is a relationship between the role of community leaders and the use of latrines, the p-value is 0.000. There is a relationship between knowledge and latrine use. Conclusion: There is no relationship between education and the role of health workers

Abstract

Dermatitis in batik workers is a common problem that often occurs due to exposure to chemicals and dyes in the batik production process. Batik workers who are directly exposed to these materials are susceptible to skin irritation or even allergic reactions. Long-term exposure to textile dyes, binders, and solvents can cause rashes, redness, itching, swelling, and scaly skin. The aim of this research was to determine the characteristics of DKAK among batik craftsmen workers in Pelayangan District, Jambi City. This research method is a cross sectional design research. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a total of 40 respondents. Data was obtained by interviews and filling out questionnaires as well as examinations assisted by community health center people. The results of this study showed that there were two risk factors that were related in this study, namely length of exposure (p = 0.001). The most common clinical characteristics based on subjective symptoms are itching, objective symptoms are redness, and a predilection for the fingers and toes. The most common causes of irritants and allergens are synthetic dyes and wax. Exogenous and endogenous risk factors showed that the majority of respondents had no history of atopic eczema, age and skin anatomical condition. Conclusion: From these data there is a relationship between the factors of length of exposure and the incidence of DKAK in batik craftsmen in Pelayangan District, Jambi City.
