Abstract

The household income comes from the income of fishermen's household groups (husband, wife, children, and other family members) and works (fishers and non-fishermen). The amount of household income strongly influences the consumption pattern of anglers households. This study aims to analyze the amount of income, food consumption patterns, and the relationship between income and the model of fishermen household food consumption. The population in this study were all fisherman households in Panyula Village, East Tanete Riattang District, Bone Method District. The research's location was carried out purposively, considering that the area is mostly coastal areas, and the livelihood of the community is fishermen. Determining the sample of 10% using a simple random method (simple random sampling), so the number of samples selected is 50 fisherman households. Data were analyzed using the method of income analysis, expected food patterns (PPH), and Chi-square. The results showed that the income structure of fishermen's household originated from the husband's income of 60.3%, the wife 3.8%, the children 30.4%, and the profit of other family members 5.5%. Sources of income based on the type of work, namely from work as fishermen, amounted to 80.5% and alternative jobs other than fishers by 19.5%. The pattern of fishermen's household food consumption based on the Expected Food Pattern is 90% in the shallow category, and there are no respondents insufficient and proper groups. The relationship between income and household food consumption patterns of fishers is not significant.

Abstract

This study aimed to 1) evaluate the implementation of activities for the Acceleration of Food Consumption Diversification (P2KP) in Makassar City, 2). to analyzing the correlation between P2KP activities and the Expected Food Pattern (EFP) score in Makassar City, 3) analyzing/identifying changes in the quality of food consumption after participating in P2KP activities. The population in this study was the Women Farmers Group (WFG) beneficiaries of P2KP activities as many as 8 KWT in 8 sub-districts. Each sub-district has one WFG consisting of 30 households, so that the total population is 240 household. The sample was determined by Simple Random Sampling, namely 20% of the population, so there were 48 household. The results showed that the P2KP program in Makassar City with the success rate of program implementation included in the high category, namely 79.4%. There is a very significant relationship between P2KP activities and the Expected Food Pattern (EFP) score. There was a change in the quality of food consumption as reflected in the change in the Expected Food Pattern (EFP) score before and after P2KP activities. The higher the EFP score, the more diverse the food consumption.

Abstract

Sayuran hidroponik memiliki peluang pasar yang cukup menjanjikan, khususnya untuk segmentasi pasar konsumen yang mengutamakan kualitas, kandungan gizi dan higienis. Fenomena yang dihadapi mitra petani adalah terjadinya penurunan produksi sayur hidroponik dari rata-rata 150-200 gram/lubang, turun menjadi 100-150 gram/lubang sebagai akibat dari tingginya intensitas cahaya matahari dan serangan hama belalang. Solusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi adalah dengan menggunakan teknologi greenhouse. Metode pelaksanaan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan manajemen produksi dan pemasaran. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah produksi sayur hidroponik meningkat dari 100-150  menjadi 200-250 gr/lubang, dengan kualitas produksi sayur yang lebih baik, sehingga omset penjualan meningkat. Abstract. Hydroponic vegetables have promising market opportunities, especially for the consumer market segmentation that prioritizes quality, nutritional content and hygiene.  The phenomenon faced by farmer partners is a decrease in hydroponic vegetable production from an average of 150-200 grams/hole, down to 100-150 grams/hole as a result of the intensity of sunlight and the attack of grasshoppers.  The solution to increase the quality and quantity of production is to use greenhouse technology.  The method of implementing the Community Partnership Program (PKM) is to provide training and assistance in production and marketing management.  The result of this activity is that hydroponic vegetable production has increased from 100-150 to 200-250 gr/hole, with better vegetable production quality, so that sales turnover increases.

Abstract

Analysis Of Chupon Grafting Grand Aid On The Bahavior Of Cocoa Farmers in Pinrang Regency. The research was conducted in June2017 - August 2017 on Duampanua District Pinrang Regency.The purpose of this study was to describe and identify the implementation of chupon grafting aid program in Pinrang Regency, to analyze the level of knowledge and skill of farmers on the assistance of chupon grafting aid program of cocoa sedling, and the participation of the cocoa farmers in the farmer group in Pinrang Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with interview technique to explore information about chupon grafting cacao seedlings, and survey approach to describe the aid pattern, and include several stages of data collection and field observation, data analysis and data processing. The results showed that with the help of chupon grafting affect the behavior of farmers in the form of increased knowledge, skills and participation in farmer groups. Assistance given has been in accordance with the flow of mechanisms that have been in accordance with the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs No. 30 of 2012 and South Sulawesi Governor Regulation No. 55 of 2012.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the implementation of the Sustainable Cocoa Program in Majene Regency, West Sulawesi Province, to identify the impact of the Sustainable Cocoa Program on the empowerment of cocoa farmers in Majene Regency, West Sulawesi Province, to know and analyze the impact of the Sustainable Cocoa Program on strengthening farmer groups in Majene Regency, West Sulawesi Province. This research was carried out by Majene Regency. The population in this study were all farmer groups that carried out a sustainable Cocoa Program, amounting to 25 farmer groups. The determination of the research sample used a purposive sampling method, namely choosing 2 farmers (1 administrator and 1 member) from each farmer group, so that the total sample was 50 farmers. Analysis of the data used descriptively to analyze the impact of the program on strengthening farmer groups, namely conducting an R-O-N analysis (Resource-Organization, and Norm). The impact of the sustainable cocoa program on training, mentoring, seedling assistance, and work wage assistance has made farmers more active in caring for their cocoa farming. The impact of the sustainable cocoa program on training activities is that respondents carry out fertilizing, planting, spraying, harvesting, pruning, and sanitation activities that are not in accordance with the training material. The impact of the sustainable cocoa program on seedling assistance is 7,404 trees / farmer groups and capital assistance for work wages is Rp. 5,665,000 / group. The ultimate goal of a sustainable cocoa program for strengthening farmer groups is no capital fertilization, active participation in counseling, active extension workers. Classroom skills, complete organization, existing functions and roles of administrators, mutual cooperation activities already in place and existing division of tasks in farmer groups.

Abstract

This investigation was conducted for six months in Mallawa District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Using questionnaires to apply the case study method to the business of processing ginger into beverages. Sample stability by use of targeted sampling. The study of data employs descriptive analysis with cross-tabulation and percentages, value-added analysis based on the Hayami Method, and correlation analysis. Results indicated that the values of local knowledge that shape the entrepreneurial spirit of ginger processing in Mallawa District, Maros Regency are honesty, self-confidence, courage to take risks, never giving up, innovative thinking, persistence, patience, hard effort, and teamwork. The entrepreneurial behavior of ginger processors demonstrates that the entrepreneur's cognitive behavior is fairly good, his affective behavior is good, and his psychomotor behavior is excellent. The association between entrepreneurial activity and corporate performance is significant. Processing raw ginger into "instant sarabba"

Abstract

This research aims to describe the socio-economic conditions of the community, assess the success of community empowerment programs, identify the driving and inhibiting factors of empowerment programs, and formulate community empowerment strategies for conservation partnership patterns in Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park. This research was conducted at Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park, District of Maros in July-August 2021. This research method uses a survey method. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis used is descriptive statistics and SWOT analysis. The results of this study based on the results of the SWOT analysis that has been carried out identified 1) internal factors identified in empowerment there are seven strength factors & eight weakness factors. While the external factors there are nine factors of threats and opportunities. 2) The results of the analysis of internal factors have three strengths of empowerment with a score of 0.29, and there is one weakness with the lowest score of 0.15. Based on this analysis indicates that the internal factors are strong or very supportive of empowerment. 3) The results of the analysis of external factors show that opportunities and threats have one factor with a score of 0.23 and 0.08. 4) Based on a SWOT analysis of community empowerment strategies in Batimurung Bulusaraung National Park that can be done, namely helping productive economic businesses, building business networks by involving related parties, and optimizing the use of forest resources.

Abstract

One of the agricultural development goals is to develop farming businesses that spur economic activity, create jobs and improve people's welfare. The research was conducted in Barugae Village, Mallawa District, Maros Regency. The location selection was carried out purposively, considering that Barugae Village is one of the centers for developing elephant ginger in Maros Regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze (1) the implementation of elephant ginger farming, (2) the production and income of elephant ginger farming, and (3) the feasibility level of elephant ginger farming. The method used in selecting the sample is simple random sampling. This study uses descriptive analysis, production and income analysis, and feasibility analysis. The results showed that the implementation of the elephant ginger farming agribusiness system did not work well because the farming subsystem needed to comply with the advice of extension agents, and support services were generally unavailable. The average elephant ginger production at the farm level is 3,029.41 kg, the production per hectare is 6,885.03 kg/Ha, and the average income of farmers is Rp. 18,176,470.59, and the income per hectare is Rp. 41,310,160.43 /Ha. The income level of elephant ginger farming received by farmers is IDR 17,151,241.69 and IDR 38,980,094.75 / Ha. The value of the R/C - a ratio of elephant ginger farming is 17.73, meaning that elephant ginger farming in Barugae Village, Mallawa District, Maros Regency, is feasible and profitable because the amount of revenue is higher than the costs incurred.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social capital owned by the owners, employees, and suppliers of raw materials for MSME fried chicken "Skripsi", analyze production and income, and business development. The research was conducted at the "Skripsi" Fried Chicken MSME, Jl. Abdullah Dg. Sirua. Informants (respondents) in this study were business owners, employees (who had worked for one year), and raw material suppliers, totaling ten people. This research is a case study using a qualitative approach and data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation on the "Skripsi" fried chicken business. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis and income analysis. The results of the study found that The social capital owned by the owners, employees, and suppliers of raw materials in the UMKM "Skripsi" fried chicken are: social norms, social networks, trust, cooperation, participation (participation), and reciprocity (reciprocity). Recapitulation of informants' responses to social capital with a weight value of 426 means that social capital plays a role in business development. MSME production and income Fried chicken "Skripsi" is profitable. The "Skripsi" fried chicken business is experiencing increasing development.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze chocolate milk's income and product development at CV XY UMKM in Makassar City. The method used in this research is the case study method so that all leaders and employees are taken as respondents. Data collection consisted of observations and interviews with the management and employees of CV XY Business to collect primary data. Data analysis comprised organoleptic tests, financial analysis, production cost analysis, income analysis, B/C ratio analysis, and BEP analysis. The results showed that the level of acceptance of the color of milk chocolate reached 47.5% (liked it), 42.5% (liked it for texture), 30.0% for its taste (liked it very much), and 45.0% for its aroma (liked it). CV XY has produced three types of chocolate products, namely Assorted Flavor Chocolate (jar packaging and mica packaging) and chocolate bars, with a total revenue per month of IDR 32,800,000 each, with a total cost of IDR 26,292,506 and revenue of IDR 6,507,494. Chocolate milk, a development product, requires a total cost of Rp. 2,375,000.-. This amount produces 75 milk chocolate products with a net weight of 100 grams and a price of IDR 31,680/100 g. BEP value of each product per unit and BEP rupiah. Assorted-flavored chocolate in jar packaging has a BEP value of 168 units and IDR 8,416,731. Assorted-flavored chocolate with mica packaging has a BEP value of 168 units and IDR 8,398,108. As the chocolate bar has a BEP value of 45 or IDR 1,561,887, it can be said that CV XY has produced above the Break Even Point value. For product development, namely chocolate milk, CV. For XY to reach the break-even point, it must produce and sell at least 60 units of chocolate milk products or obtain sales proceeds of IDR 4,227,700.-
