Abstract

ABSTRACTConcrete structures reinforced with steel formed an important part of recent infrastructure. The combination of high strength properties on concrete and high tensile on steel provide an ideal composite material that offered wide application compare with other material on structural engineering. Buildings, bridges, piers, tanks and pipe, can be made from reinforced concrete. The aim of this research is to discover the durability of reinforced concrete beam on severe environment. This research conducted based on ASTM G-109 and Florida Test of Method FM 5-222. The method used on this research is DC Electrochemical Method with impressed current technique. The test conducted 120 days to gain beam flexural strength. The results show (1) there are two conditions on the beam, i.e.: (a) the beam is put based on compressive strength, and (b) the beam is put based on different salt content, (2) both conditions doesn’t give much effect on beam flexural strength, (3) the beam increased as the time goes by and the increasing compressive strength, (4) the not-affected beam is suspected because un-perfect conditioning process, (5) the forced-corrosion process is not run well because the solution can’t seep into the beam, (6) the gained flexural strength parameter is not depicted the condition of reinforced concrete on severe environment.

Abstract

High unemployment is one of the few obstacles to development in almost all regions, so it’s interesting to assessed, considering this problem also potentially lead to poverty. Mojokerto is one of the regions that currently trying to reduce the amount of unemployment as few as possible. There are several factors that cause high unemployment such as Gross Domestic Product and population explosion in Mojokerto. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of population and Gross Domestic Regional Product on unemployment in Mojokerto. The type of this research is quantitative using associative approach. The data used on this research are time series data (periodic) in 2001 – 2011. The research variables are population and Gross Domestic Product as an independent variable and unemployment as the dependent variable. Hypothesis testing is performed by multiple linear regression analysis, which first tested the classical assumptions. Results of this research proved that partially or simultaneously population and Gross Domestic Regional Product significantly affect on unemployment in Mojokerto. The coefficient of determination (R2) by 57 percent, while the remaining 43 percent is explained by other variables not included in the research. Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the relationships between organizational culture, distributive justice, and procedural justice. Employees at Armor Kopi Bandung made up the study's target group, and incidental sampling was used for the sampling process. The study makes the following assumptions: there is employee churn; employee absenteeism varies; and some employees work part-time. 92 respondents completed a questionnaire to gather information, which was then examined using multiple linear regression analysis. The study's conclusions show that organizational culture, distributive justice, and procedural justice all significantly and favorably influenced organizational commitment. The findings have implications for business executives by assessing factors including organizational culture, distributive justice, and procedural justice, all of which are still low as indicated in the discussion section. This will help to encourage increased organizational commitment.

Abstract

The climate challenge is essentially an energy challenge. With that in mind, policymakers around the world are trying to accelerate the adoption of clean energy technologies. Stronger policy support such as minimum performance standards is needed so that the building sector is on the right track towards a Zero Emission Scenario by 2050. PUPR Ministerial Regulation number 21 of 2021 concerning green building performance assessment which is a minimum performance standard as a government policy must be implemented in Indonesia. The districts/cities of Jambi province currently have not carried out green building construction at any time, both in terms of planning and implementation. Therefore, it is hoped that this policy can be implemented well from the aspect of building construction. This research aims to identify factors exploring the performance of green building criteria, environmental awareness and the implementation of workshops on the impact of barriers to green building construction. A qualitative approach was used in this research and data was collected from workshop participants in Jambi City. The analysis method was carried out using SmartPLS 3.0 qualitatively. From the results of the research conducted, environmental concern for barriers to green buildings has a significant influence, so it is important to socialize the impacts of global warming to the community, one of which is the role of implementing green buildings. The results of this research are expected to include workshops, training and outreach activities as well as policies in the form of PERDA providing incentives to the community so that they can trigger the interest of building owners Keywords: SmartPLS, Green Building.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate: 1) the impact of leadership, discipline, and work ethic on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the Livestock Service of East Java Province, 2) the impact of leadership, discipline, and work ethic on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the Livestock Service of East Java Province concurrently, and 3) the variables that most dominantly influence the performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the East Java Province. The research findings show that: 1) Leadership partially influences performance; 2) Work Discipline has no effect on performance; 3) The coefficient of determination results show that 88.5% of employee performance variables can be explained by independent variables, namely Leadership (X1) and Work Discipline (X2), while the remaining 13.7% is explained by other variables outside the study.
