Abstract

The background of this research is the incomplete learning of students before the material structure and function of plants in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Brang Rea. The research objective is to determine the use of structured worksheets to improve the ability to understand the concept of structure and function of plants in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Brang Rea on the structure and function of plants for the 2019/2020 academic year. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Brang Rea, West Sumbawa Regency in class VIII students for the 2019/2020 school year which consisted of 32 students. This research is a Classroom Action Research which consists of two basic competencies that are divided into two cycles. From each cycle, data were obtained in the form of observations and evaluation results which were analyzed quantitatively. These data are collected and managed with the indicators used, if ± 80% of all students have obtained a value of ± 70 then the hypothesis is accepted. From the results of data processing, the percentage of completeness of learning in the first cycle was 76.47% and the second cycle was 94.12%. These results indicate an increase in each cycle. So it can be concluded that by using structured worksheets in jigsaw-type cooperative learning, plant structure and function materials can improve the ability to understand the concept of plant structure and function in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Brang Rea, West Sumbawa Regency, 2019/2020 academic year

Abstract

Mosses are group of non-vascular plant, small size, and able to growth in many substrates. Epiphytes are organism witch growth at wood surface of living plant. Epiphytic mosses has some advantages, there are out of   range from terestial organism and to get more optimaly sun light. One of place which has suitable conditions for this research is in Wildlife Preserve “Dataran Tinggi Yang”, Argopuro Mountain. This research purpose to get known about species of epiphyte mosses and morphological characteristic each species of epiphytic mosses in Wildlife Preserve “Dataran Tinggi Yang”, Argopuro Mountain. The result of identification and characterization obtained 17 families and 25 species of epiphytic mosses. The main characteristic of mosses are leaf position, leaf form,  and leaf costa.

Abstract

Kewirausahaan bagi kalangan mahasiswa belum menjadi sesuatu yang menarik perhatian sebahagian besar mahasiswa, termasuk di Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo. Berbagai cara untuk memotivasi mahasiswa agar tertarik untuk berwirausaha telah dilakukan antara lain melalui mata kuliah kewirausahaan, program kreativitas mahasiswa, pelibatan dalam kegiatan pengabdian dosen, namun hasilnya belum optimal karena pembinaan yang belum terintegrasi dan berkelanjutan. Fakta tersebut yang melatarbelakangi pengembangan kewirausahaan bagi mahasiswa dan alumni yang berbasis ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Pengembangan Kewirausahaan di Universitas Cokroaminoo Palopo, khususnya di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan merupakan program kewirausahaan multi tahun yang berakhir tahun 2020. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengembangan kewirausahaan yaitu pelatihan, pendampingan, konsultasi bisnis, dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dapat memberikan motivasi kepada tenant seperti sarasehan dunia usaha dan webinar kewirausahaan. Tim pelaksana melakukan sosialisasi program kepada mahasiswa dan alumni sebelum dilaksanakan seleksi tenant. Kegiatan pembinaan yang telah dilakukan yaitu pelatihan kewirausahaan, pendampingnan penyusunan business plan, pengurusan izin usaha dan kekayaan Intelektual, pengelolaan keuangan berbasis teknologi, dan konsultasi bisnis. Hasil pelaksanaan pengembangan kewirausahaan di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo sudah terlaksana sesuai dengan program dan target yang ingin dicapai. Pengembangan kewirausahaan berdimensi inovasi kreasi bisnis yang mengsinergikan dunia usaha dengan dunia pendidikan menggunakan teknik Warung Pendidikan disingkat Warpen. Selama tiga tahun telah dihasilkan enambelas wirausaha baru. Bidang usaha tenant tahun pertama yaitu Warpen Aksesoris, Warpen Dekorasi, Warpen Bimbingan Belajar, Warpen Analisis Data, dan Warpen Desain. Bidang usaha pada tahun kedua yaitu Warpen Tata Rias, Warpen Miniatur, Warpen Kuliner, Warpen Senam, Warpen Tekstil dan Warpen Literasi. Bidang usaha tahun ketiga yaitu Warpen Tanaman Hias, Warpen Muslimah, Warpen Printing, Warpen Antik, dan Warpen Translater.

Abstract

Kaji teoretis dan eksperimental Turbin Crossflow pancaran ganda kapasitas 3kW-5kW bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa dimensi desain Turbin Crossflow yang sesuai dengan daya yang dihasilkan yang tidak hanya dapat digunakan sebagai alat uji, juga dapat diaplikasikan ke masyarakat serta untuk mengetahui hasil perhitungan secara teoretis dengan hasil eksperimental dari Turbin Crossflow. Perancangan dan pembuatan dilakukan dengan mengkaji secara teoretis Turbin Crossflow sehingga didapatkan dimensi desain turbin, rancangan turbin Crossflow, pembuatan komponen-komponen dan proses assembly alat uji. Hasil penelitian tugas akhir ini didapatkan dimensi desain turbin crossflow, dimana: Daya Turbin = 2,778 kW  2,8 kW, tinggi jatuh air (head) = 6 m, Diameter runner = 0,21 m, jumlah sudu = 21 buah, diameter pipa penstock = 6 Inchi, dan diameter poros = 18,87 mm. Selanjutnya dari hasil perhitungan tersebut dibuat komponen-komponen turbin. Adapun tegangan yang dihasilkan rata-rata 350 Volt.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of counselor communication on the self-disclosure of students in SMA Negeri 3 Parepare. Counselors in high schools get a clear role and position or place, where counselors as a component of student support services (student support services) to help the development of personal, social, career, and academic aspects of students through guidance and counseling programs to students in plan (individual student planning), responsive service delivery and system development (system support). Therefore, counselors are highly required to have effective communication skills to support counseling, so counseling communication skills can make students open themselves. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using observation, interview, and documentation methods. The subject in this study was the BK teacher of SMA Negeri 3 Parepare as the school counselor using data analysis techniques namely interpretation data analysis techniques and triangulation analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the stages of counseling can be seen based on the stages of effective communication conducted by counselors, including; 1) Fact finding, 2) Planning, 3) Communicating, 4) Evaluating. The communication skills applied by counselors in the implementation of counseling are (attending), empathy, summarizing, asking, and honesty. By using the communication model, in this study found that the counselor's communication achieved students' self-disclosure as evidenced by giving their trust to the counselor, expressing honest statements in the counseling process, and students feeling relieved after the counseling. Based on some of the results obtained by researchers, the communication skills conducted by counselors to achieve students' self-disclosure are effective.
