Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang citra perempuan dalam novel “The Constant Princess” karya Philippa Gregory melalui perspektif feminisme. Novel ini bercerita tentang kisah nyata dari tokoh Katherine Aragon atau Catalina, Putri Spanyol, sebagai tokoh utama dimana pada awal cerita lahir dan hidup di Spanyol. Katherine Aragon mewakili penindasan perempuan yang memiliki pengalaman menerima aturan tradisi dalam sistem di negaranya. Sistem pertunangan, perkawinan, pemberian mas kawin dan patriarki adalah identitas tradisional sebagai seorang wanita yang hidup antara Spanyol dan Inggris pada abad 15-16. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data yang digunakan adalah kutipan yang diambil dari novel “The Constant Princess”. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang kritik feminisme melalui tokoh Katherine Aragon guna menggambarkan penindasan perempuan yang terindentifikasi dari adanya relasi gender atas nama kesetaraan dengan laki-laki.Kata kunci: Identitas, diskriminasi, feminisme The point of this study is women’s image in the novel “The Constant Princess” by Philippa Gregory through feminism perspective. It is a true story which tells Catherine of Aragon or Catalina, Princess of Spain, as the main character who was born, and lived in Spain. Catherine of Aragon represents women’s oppression in which she has to accept the rules of tradition in her country system. The betrothal system of marriage, the dowry, and the patriarchal are the traditional identities of hers as a woman who lives in between the Spain and England in the 15-16 century. This research uses qualitative approach with the primary source is based on the novel “The Constants Princess” by Philippa Gregory. This study explains about the critics of feminism through the main character, Catherine of Aragon in which it will show how women’s oppression is related to the gender in the name of equality with the men.Keywords:  Identity, discrimination, feminism

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat ekspolitasi anak usia sekolah sebagai pengamen. Teori yang digunakan untuk menganalisis penelitian ini ialah teori yang dikemukakan oleh George Simmel yaitu Interaksi Sosial (Superordinasi dan Subordinasi). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe studi kasus serta teknik pemilihan informan snowball sampling. Dalam pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, studi literatur dengan teknik analisis data dari Miles dan Huberman. Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the factors affecting the mode preference in Tegal, (2) determine the factors affecting the potential use of non-motorized transportation in Tegal, and (3) investigate the relationship model among these factors. PLS Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method was used. The results revealed (1) socio-economic characteristics (KSE) with vehicle ownership indicators influenced the mode choice level, (2) socio-economic characteristic variables with vehicle ownership indicators, travel intention variable (MP) covering working, shopping, and worship indicators, and self-preservation behaviour variable during the pandemic affected the potential use of non-motorized transport [0.801 KSE; (R2= 0,647)] (3) the relationship model among variables [Socio-economy (KSE), purpose of travel (MP), and self-preservation behaviour (PMD)] was =0,280 KSE+ 0.317 MP-0.175 PMD; (R2=0,2570)

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' creative thinking ability in physics by using conceptual understanding learning learning with LKPD. This quasi experimental study uses non-equivalent control group design. The population is all students of class X MA NW Narmada. The sample was chosen using purposive sampling technique which consist of class XB students as experiment class and XA class student as control class. The research instrument uses verbal and figural creativity tests that have been validated by experts. Hypothesis test using t-pooled variance test. Increased creativity is determined based on the results of the N-gain test. The results showed that there was an increase of students' creativity in both classes. Verbal and figural creativity improves in both classes. The experimental class experienced a higher creativity increase than the control class. Verbal creativity increased higher than the figural creativity. This shows that LKPD conceptual understanding procedure model applied successfully improve the creativity of learners in physics learning.

Abstract

An agency will thrive if it is supported by qualified employees. So that employees are certainly one of the most important assets in an institution, both private and public institutions, so that agencies are required to recruit prospective contract employees who have competence and talent to support the implementation of work at the Open University of Mataram City. Skilled workers who can bring institutions forward and compete with other agencies so that they can keep up with the times, and the recruitment aspect is starting to get a special view, because the recruitment process is not in accordance with the needs at the Mataram Open University so that it can hinder the rate of development of the agency itself. Therefore, a decision support system is needed for the contract employee recruitment process at the Universitas Terbuka Mataram. Therefore, a decision support system is needed for the contract employee recruitment process at universitas Terbuka Mataram campus. This decision support system uses the Simple Additive Weighting SAW method. In this case, prospective employees are compared with one another so as to provide an output value of priority intensity which results in a system that provides an assessment of each employee. This decision support system helps evaluate each employee, make changes to the criteria, and changes the weight values. This is useful to facilitate decision making related to employee selection issues, so that the most appropriate employees will be received in the company. The purpose of this study was to select the best candidate for employees at the Universitas Terbuka Mataram. The results of this study indicate that the SAW method is appropriate for selecting the best prospective employees because it can obtain qualified employees in accordance with the expectations of the company and the leadership.

Gadget is a term used to refer to various types of technological tools that are growing rapidly and have special functions, such as smartphones, iPhones, computers and tablets. Gadgets are in great demand by various groups, both adults and children, because of their sophistication. Too frequent and excessive use of gadgets can cause addictive effects. This service activity is in the form of psychoeducation which is carried out at MI SIT AL-Fathanah. The psychoeducational method used is the lecture method with the aim of making it an effort for children to understand the impact of gadget addiction as well as giving pre-tests before lectures and post-tests after giving lectures. The results of the insights that have been given show that there is a change in students' knowledge after education is given. The expected benefits after carrying out this education are knowledge for students, especially children who often play gadgets.
