Abstract

Sebagai kota besar di Kawasan Timur Indonesia, Makassar memiliki tingkat pertumbuhan penduduk yang cukup tinggi. Salah satu permukiman padat yang terletak di pesisir pantai Kota Makassar adalah permukiman di Kelurahan Cambaya. Permasalahan yang terjadi di kawasan permukiman ini adalah tidak tersedianya ruang terbuka atau tempat bermain yang sesuai untuk anak-anak. Kondisi lingkungan yang padat telah mendorong anak-anak untuk memanfaatkan berbagai lingkungan alami dan buatan di sekitar tempat tinggalnya sebagai playground mereka. Tentunya ruang bermain tersebut tidak akan tercipta tanpa tingginya daya kreativitas dan daya imajinatif anak-anak. Dengan bermain anak-anak dan orang tua/keluarga dapat mengekspresikan jenis permainan yang dimilikinya, serta dapat menikmati suasana kebersamaan yang rekreatif. Dengan bermain anak-anak juga dapat berkreasi dan mengeksplor berbagai media permainan, serta mengaktifkan dan menstimulasi psikomotorik anak. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat membantu menangani masalah akan kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap ruang terbuka hijau yang sekaligus juga difungsikan sebagai ruang bermain anak di Kelurahan Cambaya. Kegiatan ini juga sekaligus memberikan arahan pendekatan pemberdayaan masyarakat berdasarkan pola hidup masyarakat setempat, sebagai acuan dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan kawasan permukiman di masa sekarang dan akan datang yang dapat menunjang aktivitas anak-anak dalam bermain.

Abstract

Quality houses, facilities and infrastructure are basic needs. To achieve this, it is necessary to formulate a program that is directed, simple, inexpensive, and easy to implement. The results of the visit to the location before the socialization showed that the waterfront settlements of Cikoang in Mangarabombang District, Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi had environmental problems such as lack of greening, non-existent used water drainage, and a lot of garbage scattered, but on the other hand it has a beautiful panorama to be a tourist spot. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase public awareness of the importance of improving the quality of the physical environment such as houses, facilities and settlement infrastructure based on community participation through principle of mutual cooperation and suitable for their needs. The method of implementing community service activities is by means of program socialization in the form of strategies formulated by the community service team of the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Architecture, Hasanuddin University to be shown to the officials and village community. Through the socialization with the banner presentation, it is hoped that there will be a change in the way of thinking from dependence on the government for environmental improvement to the sharing of the burden because of the participation of the community itself, both individually and in groups. This is important to make joint progress in improving the quality of houses, facilities and settlement infrastructure in these locations.

Abstract

Tourism Village is one of the alternative empowerment efforts through community involvement in the management of tourism potential in the village. The measure of the success of the Tourism Village program can be seen in the graph of the economic growth of the community in the village as an implication of the implementation of an empowerment-based community involvement program. The commitment of stakeholders in implementing the Tourism Village program is also the key to success. The village government, local entrepreneurs, and village communities including youth leaders, and ulama are the key words in hanging high ideals for the successful implementation of community empowerment programs in Tourism Villages. Sering Village, Donri-donri District, Soppeng Regency, topographically has a very competitive landscape to be developed into a tourism village based on natural panoramas. The main problems in this village are inadequate road infrastructure in accessing potential tourism spots, limited infrastructure and supporting facilities such as home stays and other supporting facilities. The purpose of this community service activity is to explore the potential of tourism, especially those related to the potential for natural panoramas to then be translated into tourist spots which are expected to contribute to improving the community's economy based on empowerment programs. The method of implementing the activities formulated by the Community Service Team of the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, started from field observations followed by analysis of potential and existing problems related to the tourism village development plan at the service location. The results of the implementation of the activity showed enthusiasm, as well as a significant level of understanding and acceptance related to the design of tourism spots based on natural panoramas at the service location.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of developing transportation infrastructure on the banks of the river to support the activities of residents in riverside settlements in the context of utilizing the river as an alternative mode of transportation in addition to land transportation modes. The design of river transportation terminals can be a solution to support the activities of residents living in riverside settlements in the context of empowerment in addition to strengthening the local identity of the riverside area. The purpose of this Community Service is to increase the economic empowerment of the community, especially the people who live on the side of the Walanae River, Lompulle Village, Ganra District, Soppeng Regency through the use of the Walanae River as a means of water transportation in order to facilitate the movement and movement of goods through the river to become a link to several areas which are the Walanae Watershed (DAS). The utilization of the river can be optimized not only through the use of the river as an alternative means of transportation, but also as a water tourism object which in the end is expected to create new livelihoods for the community from the tourism aspect through the provision of souvenirs and the use of residents' homes as homestays as supporting regional tourism in a broader context.The method of implementing activities formulated by the Community Service Team of the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University starts from field observation activities followed by analyzing the potential and existing problems related to the River Transportation Terminal development plan at the service location. The results of the implementation of the activity showed enthusiasm, as well as a significant level of understanding and acceptance with a significance figure of 62,16% from 18,92% before the activity to 81,08% after the implementation of the activity.
