Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of data from the observations in the form of evaluation data of Vocational School students, amounting to 20 students experiencing difficulties in learning to write anecdotal texts because the teacher did not involve students so students were less active and not motivated to learn. The study was made aimed at overcoming the problem, researchers used the mind mapping method in the hope of increasing the ability of students in learning to write anecdotal texts. This study uses a quasi-experimental design by designing a comparison of control group design with pretest-posttest data collection techniques. Based on the research the results of the average pretest score were 74.45 and posttest was 80.95. So the conclusion is that the application of mind mapping methods is very effectively applied in learning to write anecdotal texts because of the results of the comparison which shows an increase in value.

Abstract

This research is in the background of the results of observations and evaluations that students do in writing, especially in writing explanatory texts by observing an image. Students still find it difficult to determine the structure of general statements, the sequence of cause and effect, and interpretation. The problem in this study is, how can the example non-example method be understood by students so that there are differences before and after using the method? Based on observations that have been made in class XI, students have difficulty writing the explanatory text. This study uses a pre-experimental method with a one group pre-test post-test design approach used by researchers by conducting an initial test before being given treatment so that it can be seen significantly the comparison of the values that have been carried out. The researcher took a sample of 30 students in class XI. Data sources obtained from students of class XI are in the form of initial test questions and final tests. Based on the results of the data that have been treated there are differences before using the Example Non Example method, namely the initial test (pretest) obtained an average value of 60 after using the Example Non Example method of the final test (posttest) of 80. So, it can be concluded that it has happened changes after being given learning by using the Example Non Example method in writing explanatory texts.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to describe a method implementation puzzle game for can produce the text of the story of fantasy, describing the use of the method of envelopes of puzzle on the text of the story of fantasy and explain difficulties in learning to write text fantasy stories using the method of games of puzzle. This research uses research methods pre-experimental design because design is not yet is circling in earnest and there are still variables that come into effect on the dependent variable. Research subject and location are learners Class VII MTS. Yamisa . The population of this research is the entire learners Class VII MTs Yamisa with a sample of learners class VIIA MTS. Yamisa that amounted to 27 students. The technique of data collection by using the techniques of tests and nontes. Test techniques in the form of writing text descriptions and nontes techniques in the form of observation. The results of the research at this stage pretes obtained average value 64, 04 while after getting treatment method using game puzzle (post-tes) obtained the value average 84, 04. Based on the results obtained showed that the method puzzle game can be used to be able to produce and regenerate the kreativitfantasy story writing text us on in class VII.

Abstract

Fiction in literary works in the form of essays or experiences that can be devoted to an article using interesting language, not standardized. Poetry, one of the forms of fiction, contains implicit meaning. Poetry can motivate writing lovers, especially readers who are interested in knowing the meaning of the implicit meaning of a poem through analysis. Based on the previous explanation, the author was interested in conducting a study, namely analyzing the poem by Heri Isnaini entitled "Stamps" using the semiotic approach. This study aims to (1) analyze the poem semiotically, (2) describe the results of poetry analysis entitled "Stamps" ( 3) describe the main issues on the theme of the poem. The method of description is the method used in this study, namely telling or describing the contents of the poem analyzed. Stamp poetry is analyzed and discussed semiotically to find out about the meaning and signs of the language so that the hidden meaning of the poem can be clearly revealed. The results show that the poem means something textually, stamps that are likened to humans. Therefore, the image of the stamp can be likened to a pair of figures that are likened to a stamp, where the stamp remains loyal to the worn envelope and has even turned yellow. Yellowing in the poem can be described by someone who is no longer worthy an old and unattractive figure.

Abstract

This research is in the background of the existence of data from the evaluation results on the writing skills of students in class XI tends to be still low. This is caused by the selection of learning models so that students are less motivated and lack interest in the learning done. Because of these problems, the researchers conducted a study of poetry text learning using the PAIKEM learning model. and the thing to be investigated in an attempt to find out whether the learning process has different results before and after using the PAIKEM learning model. The researcher used the Design One-Group pretest-posttest Design method, the researcher used the subject as a sample of 25 students. Researchers research by conducting a pretest as the beginning of learning and doing a posttest. Based on the results of the pretest conducted by students obtained an average value of 50.8 and obtained an average posttest score of 86 so that it can have a difference in the value of 32.2.

Abstract

The background of this study is based on the fact that students feel difficult when writing explanatory texts. The difficulties faced by students include difficult to express ideas in writing complex explanatory texts. This statement is proven by the answers of the students when filling out the questionnaire given by the teacher. This study aims to see the effect of the picture and picture method on the results of student writing. The researcher used an experimental method with a design (one group pre-test post-test), the data collected was the initial test (pre-test) and the final test (post-test). The instruments used were evaluation questions, to see the results of student writing, observations to see the learning process of students in the class, and questionnaires to find out student responses related to the application of the methods carried out on 30 class students as a research sample. The results of the study show that the picture and picture learning method influences student learning outcomes in writing complex explanatory texts. It can be seen from the average value obtained by students before and after being treated using the picture and picture method. The average value of students before being given treatment is 74.2 and after being given treatment using the method of picture and picture the average value of students increases to 82.7. So, the picture and pictured method can be applied in learning to write explanatory texts because it is proven to increase the average value of students in writing complex explanatory texts.
