Abstract

 The world of education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is developing dynamically. This is a challenge for the education sector to produce critical, creative, innovative, communicative human resources who can collaborate, collaborate, and be confident. Therefore, education must be able to answer these challenges. ICT-based learning (Information Communication Technology) is a medium or learning aid that can be used in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. One of ICT-based learning through e-learning scorative, namely active learning media that involves students directly through applications by utilizing the ADDIE system. E-learning socrative that can be used in practical learning. In this study specifically used in language learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the differences before and after the application of e-learning socialization in language learning and the learning process. The study was conducted at IKIP Siliwangi with a sample of 25 students of the Indonesian language study program. The research method uses a quasi-experimental type one group pretest-posttest design with data collection techniques through tests and observations. The results showed that the language learning process was effective and enthusiastic. The results of the average test stated there were differences before and after the application of e-learning system in language learning with an average initial test score of 55.04 and final test 62.48.

Abstract

The era of industrial revolution 4.0 in the education sector is not enough only with old literacy but it requires three types of literacy, namely data literacy, technology literacy, and human literacy. Therefore, the learning process carried out must be appropriate and following industrial conditions 4.0. One of them is in evaluating learning. Evaluation is carried out to make decisions about the quality of learning that has been carried out, so learning evaluation activities need to use information technology and computers (ICT). It is only through social media e-learning that can be utilized in language learning. This research encourages the improvement of the quality of language learning that uses e-learning media as a learning evaluation medium. The research method used to solve the problem is descriptive qualitative. Meanwhile, the research techniques used were tests and questionnaires. The research was conducted in the Siliwangi IKIP environment with a sample of thirty-three students. Based on the results of the study through tests and questionnaires it was found that 72.2% of language learning evaluations through e-learning media went well, effectively and could be used appropriately.

Abstract

Teachers are the spearhead in conveying information (knowledge) in the world of education. The development and progress of information technology also influence the development of the world of education in achieving the desired goals. Thus, efforts are needed to improve and develop skills and knowledge possessed by teachers as provisions for teaching and learning activities. One of them is through e-learning socrative learning training for teachers, namely utilizing technology, information, and computers through networks (internet, LAN, WAN). The purpose of this training is to improve the ability, skills, and readiness of teachers to carry out and deal with learning in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, especially Indonesian language teachers. The training method used is lectures and practice of operating (using) the social e-learning learning model in Indonesian language learning for Indonesian language teachers in Subang Regency, West Java. The results achieved in this training improve the skills and knowledge of teachers regarding ICT-based learning (Technology, Information, and Computers) in Indonesian subjects, fostering good motivation in teaching and learning activities. The conclusion is the results of the socrative e-learning training, for teachers learning becomes more effective, fun, and enthusiastic. In addition, it is one of the solutions for facing learning in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the ability to write persuasive speech text and learning motivation of junior high school students whose learning uses a scientific approach assisted by powtoon media compared to those using a scientific approach, to determine whether there is a relationship between learning motivation and the ability to write persuasive speech text of junior high school students, and to Knowing student performance in implementing the scientific approach, solving knowledge questions, and completing practical assignments to write persuasive speech texts. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental type nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study were 50 junior high school students. Based on the research data, it was found that the experimental class was better at writing persuasive speech texts than the control class. In the association test data between the ability to write persuasive speech text and learning motivation, it turns out that in the experimental class the Sig value is 0.058> 0.05 and in the control class the sig value is 0.357> 0.05. These results mean that there is no association between the ability to write persuasive speech texts and learning motivation in either the experimental class or the control class. The performance of students when implementing the scientific approach assisted by the powtoon media was 86.66%. These results meant that the student's performance was very good. The student's performance in his ability to write persuasive speech texts in the experimental class was in the good category, while in the control class it was in the poor category. AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis teks pidato persuasif dan motivasi belajar siswa SMP yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pendekatan saintifik dengan bantuan media Powtoon dibandingkan dengan yang menggunakan pendekatan saintifik, untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan kemampuan menulis teks pidato  persuasif siswa SMP, dan untuk mengetahui kinerja siswa dalam implementasi pendekatan saintifik, menyelesaikan soal-soal pengetahuan, dan menyelesaikan tugas praktik menulis teks pidato persuasif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah quasi eksperimen dengan tipe nonequivalent control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMP yang berjumlah 50 orang. Berdasarkan data penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa kelas eksperimen lebih baik dalam menulis teks pidato persuasif dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Pada data uji asosiasi antara kemampuan menulis teks pidato persuasif dengan motivasi berlajar ternyata pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai Sig 0,058> 0,05 dan di kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai  Sig 0,357 > 0,05. Hasil tersebut bermakna bahwa tidak ada asosiasi antara kemampuan menulis teks pidato persuasif dan motivasi belajar baik di kelas eksperimen ataupun kelas kontrol. Kinerja siswa pada saat mengimplementasikan pendekatan saintifik dengan bantuan media powtoon diperoleh hasil 86,66 % hasil tersebut bermakna bahwa kinerja siswa sangat baik. Adapun kinerja siswa dalam kemampuannya dalam menulis teks pidato persuasif di kelas eksperimen yaitu ada dalam kategori baik, sedangkan di kelas kontrol yaitu dalam kategori kurang.

Abstract

Iklan adalah media pemasaran, membantu layanan, promosi suatu produk yang bersifat informatif dan persuasif. Selain itu iklan juga dapat memberikan pengaruh pada pendengarnya atau pembacanya, sehingga jika terjadi penafsiran yang salah. Sifat iklan yang persuasif memberikan berbagai macam tafsiran pemaknaan pada penutur bahasa. Ada iklan yang bisa diartikan secara langsung dan ada pula makna yang tersembunyi didalamnya. Sehingga menimbulkan kegagalan paham pada penyimak iklan tersebut, apalagi iklan yang ditelevisi yang masih menjadi primadona dalam reting penyiarannya memungkinkan iklan yang ditelevisi yang dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat luas dan menimbulkan gagal penafsiran yang luas pula. Maka dari itu peneliti tertarik mengkaji tentang iklan.Iklan yang dikaji oleh peneliti ini merupakan iklan salah satu partai politik. Mengingat pada tahun 2019 merupakan tahun politik di Indonesia. Banyak iklan partai politik yang hanya ditelevisi. Salah satu yang menarik perhatin adalah iklan Partai solidaritas Indonesia yang memiliki multi tafsir di dalamnya. Penelitian ingin menunjukan keinginan yang disampaikan dalam iklan secara mutlak atau entailment dan ungkapan-ungkapan yang tersembunyi untuk sesuatu yang berbeda yang ada di dalamnya atau yang disebut dengan implikatur. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif untuk mengkaji makna iklan yang terdapat pada iklan partai Solidaritas Indonesia.Hasilnya Pengkajian menunjukan bahwa implikatur ATAU umpatan Makna hati iklan partai Solidaritas Indonesia LEBIH mendominasi dibandingkan DENGAN Makna entailment .

Abstract

Pada pembelajaran menulis, banyak siswa yang merasa kesulitan dalam menyusun kalimat, menggunakan tanda baca dan menggunakan (EYD) pada penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia ke dalam tulisannya. Selain itu, guru masih menggunakan metode tradisional sehingga pembelajaran kurang efektif, kurang kondusif dan kurang menyenangkan. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menerapkan model concept sentence dalam pembelajaran menulis teks persuasi. Penelitian berikut bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai kemampuan siswa terhadap menulis teks persuasi menggunakan model pembelajaran concept sentence. Penelitian berikut menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, yakni menggambarkan hasil analisis mendalam dari seorang peneliti. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel dari 30 siswa kelas VIII B dan 30 siswa kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 3 Margahayu. Hasil kemampuan siswa kelas VIII B terhadap menulis teks persuasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 100% dari 30 siswa memperoleh skor tertinggi dan masuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik sedangkan sampel dari siswa kelas VIII C terhadap menulis teks persuasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 100% dari 30 siswa memperoleh skor tertinggi dan masuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik. Kemampuan siswa kelas VIII B meraih skor dengan rata-rata 88 dan dikategorikan sangat baik sedangkan kemampuan siswa kelas VIII C meraih skor rata-rata 91 dan dikategorikan sangat baik. Maka, model pembelajaran concept sentence efektif dan cocok digunakan pada proses pembelajaran menulis teks persuasi.

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring memberikan tantangan baru untuk mahasiswa maupun dosen. Adaptasi pembelajaran lama ke pembelajaran dengan gaya baru cenderung masih memakai teknik pengajaran konvensional yang didigitalisasi. Pada saat yang sama segala aspek pembelajaran seperti kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor dalam melaksanakan maupun menilai perlu dikonversi dengan gaya baru sesuai dengan perkembangan masa. Teknik pengajaran lama pembelajaran pra pandemi dinilai membosankan, kurang menarik, dan kesulitan fokus dalam ruang maya. Hal tersebut terjadi juga di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia IKIP Siliwangi. Mahasiswa memberikan tanggapan dalam survei bahwa pembelajaran dirasa membosankan, sementara mata kuliah tersebut perlu praktik untuk bekal di lapangan sehingga peneliti mencari alternatif untuk meningkatkan keaktifan, minat belajar, dan insight baru dalam pembelajaran pada mahasiswa dengan menggunakan metode game based learning berbantuan platform Gather Town. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data mengalami peningkatan dari siklus ke siklus dengan menunjukan hasil akhir rata-rata 90 dalam kategori sangat baik. Data menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap keaktifan mahasiswa yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode game based learning berbantuan gather town efektif meningkatkan keaktifan mahasiswa yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa memirsa

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulties experienced by students in writing descriptive texts. Meanwhile, the State of Indonesia was exposed to the coronavirus, which affected all sectors and one of them was Education. So learning is required online to prevent the transmission of the virus. Google Classroom is a free web service from Google to provide online learning. Google Classroom can be used for teachers and students using mobile phones or laptops wherever they are. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and questionnaires. The sample that the writer examines is class VIII with a total of 22 students. According to the data obtained, learning to write descriptive text online with the help of Google Classroom can motivate students, can reduce the time to understand the material and they dare to express opinions.

Abstract

Learning to write procedural texts that is done online is still experiencing problems and problems in the results of students' writing procedural texts which are considered low. This is caused by the selection of learning methods and media that are not suitable for online learning. So that it makes students' understanding of the procedural text material still lacking. In applying online learning, it is the same as direct or face-to-face learning. Teachers are required to pay attention to the competencies to be taught. This is done so that learning remains effective and gets maximum results, especially in learning to write, for that researchers are interested in conducting research on the application of discovery learning methods assisted by image media in online learning to write procedural texts using qualitative descriptive methods. The sample for this study was 25 students of class VII-B SMP Al Falah Dago. Determining the results of the study using instruments in the form of student questionnaire sheets and test question sheets in the form of multiple choice questions and essay questions. The results of the study based on the student questionnaire instrument, showed a response of 70.10% of students assessing the discovery learning method was very good. The test results also show an average above the KKM with a score of 71.3 with a student's level of completeness as much as 70% in the good category. Based on these two results, it is concluded that the use of discovery learning methods assisted by image media has been successfully applied.
