Abstract

Along with the rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT), the need for an ICT-based concept and mechanism of teaching and learning becomes inevitable. The concept then known as e-learning is bringing the influence of the process of transformation of conventional education into digital form, both content, and system. On the other hand, information technology has become the world's largest computer network, which works well if it is supported by computer devices with good software and with well-trained teachers. Using the internet with all the facilities will make it easy to access various information for education that can directly improve students' knowledge for their success in learning. Likewise in Permendiknas Number 22 of 2006 point, 2 stated that one of the objectives of physics is to develop science and technology. One of the developments of science and technology is the availability of professional teachers. With the results of this study are 1) Application of web-based learning on temperature and caloric materials can improve the concept understanding among students significantly compared with conventional learning methods. 2) The use of web-based technology in the learning process of temperature and heat material can significantly increase students' KGS compared to conventional learning methods. 3) Students give a very positive response to the implementation of web-based learning on temperature and heat materials.

Abstract

Learning model is a systematic method or presentation technique used by educators in organizing the learning process both individually and in groups to achieve learning goals. The purpose of this study is to compare the percentage of the students learning outcomes through Enjoyfull Learning with Explicit Instruction. The research subjects were 50 high school students. This research uses quasi-experimental methods with a quantitative approach. Data collection was collected through giving tests and analyzed by SPSS. The results showed that the students' ability to understand learning after the application of the Enjoyfull Learning model was 81.64 in the pre-test and 82.58 in the posttest, for the students learning outcomes, the pre-test was 85.18 and 86.44 in the post-test. While the results of the students' ability to understand learning by applying Explicit Intruction learning model was 79.54 in the pre-test and 80.22 in the post-test, for student learning outcomes, the pre-test wais 81.44 and 82.44 in the post-test . Thus it can be assumed that the Enjoyfull Learning model is preferred by students so that it is more appropriate to be applied to improve the students learning outcomes, but still pay attention to certain adjustments in order to obtain maximum learning outcomes.

Abstract

The use of phet simulation media is not only to replace the role of real laboratories, but also as a complementary solution to the incompleteness of real laboratory facilities and equipment in schools. This media is also certain to make students interesting and motivated so that completing student learning outcomes will ultimately increase understanding of concepts in physics material. This study aims to determine the extent of the use of Phet simulation media can improve student understanding of concepts compared to conventional methods. This research is a quantitative study, with the method being true experimental; while the design used is the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. As a population of students in class XII MAN Indrapuri, while the sample is class XII-I and XII-2 which are selected randomly and act as the experimental class and the control class. Furthermore, it is analyzed using the N-Gain index, normality test, homogeneity test and statistical test. It can be concluded that learning through Phet simulation is better than conventional learning, with an average increase in N-Gain students' concept understanding of the experimental class 78.4% and the control class 52.1%.

Abstract

The research aims to enhance the creativity of students by applying the TSTS (Two Stay Two Stray) learning model at SMPN 2 Kuta Baro Aceh Besar. The sample in this study was a student of class VII C of 22 students. This research uses a pre-experimental research design. Creativity data is collected through the observation sheet with the Guttman scale. Analysis of data creativity is calculated using a percentage formula. The study results of the student's learning creativity at the initial observation were 54.5% being in the category quite creative and the final observation score was 82% with the category highly creative. It can be concluded that the application of the learning model of Two Stay Two Stray can enhance the creativity of students of grade VII C at SMPN 2 Kuta Baro on Earth and Solar System matter.
