Abstract

The equation of chemical reactions can be synchronized in several ways, including the mathematical equation of chemical reactions. In an equivalent chemical reaction, the relationship of any amount of product and reactant usually forms a ratio of a round number. An understanding of the chemical reaction equation is needed to understand the stoichiometric material, since stoichiometry is the basic material that must be well understood as the foundation for the understanding of subsequent chemicals. Stoichiometry can be used to calculate the amount of product that can be produced from a given number of reactants..

Abstract

Chemistry is one part of the Natural Sciences that explains the process of taking a reaction. In understanding the process of such reactions is needed knowledge of basic science of others such as Science Physics, Biology, and Mathematics. One of the materials taught in Chemistry is the Reduction and Oxidation reaction (redox). To facilitate an understanding of the concept of redox reactions it is advisable to first understand the Basic Mathematics and Physics Sciences, as most of the redox reactions are solved by mathematical concepts and Physics concepts. The calculations that exist in redox reactions are easily solved by the concept of Mathematical Sciences while the completion of the load must be by the Science of Physics. There are three methods or ways to complete the redox reactions, namely the method of capture and release of oxygen, the method of electron change and the method of heating the oxidation number.

Abstract

A good teaching process is highly coveted by the community so that the achievement of results is maximum. Learning about biochemistry in high school must be done with teaching materials found in everyday life. Biochemical teaching material consists of carbohydrates which are divided into three groups, namely monosaccharide, disaccharide and polysarida. The second material is fat which is divided into two types when viewed from the source, namely animal fat (animal) and plant fat (vegetable). When viewed from chemical bonds also divided into two, namely saturated fat and unsaturated fat. The next material is a protein that functions to replace damaged cells, development in brain cells and as a biocatalyst.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze whether the application of remedial teaching can be used to improve student learning outcomes on the subject of ionic and covalent bonds. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMAN Peukan Bada consisting of 2 classes with the use of first class as a sample, totaling 30 students. In this study, the data collection instrument in the form of multiple-choice tests that have been tested for validity and reliability and awarded to students after the study material and the ionic bonding and covalent bonding after remedial teaching (remedial test). The results of data analysis showed that the level of completeness of student learning outcomes in individuals with absorption of 70% is 30% while the level of data completeness outcomes after remedial teaching 61% that of the percentage is concluded that an increase in student learning outcomes from 30% to 61% , This result indicates that results for students after teaching remedial increased by 31%. Hypothesis testing is used to test the two parties namely the t-test with the following data thitung = 4.09 and ttubel = 1.699 at a significance level of 0.05 and db = 29. Thus concluded that "the implementation of remedial teaching can be used to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of ionic and covalent bonding in class XI SMAN Peukan Bada

Abstract

The use of phet simulation media is not only to replace the role of real laboratories, but also as a complementary solution to the incompleteness of real laboratory facilities and equipment in schools. This media is also certain to make students interesting and motivated so that completing student learning outcomes will ultimately increase understanding of concepts in physics material. This study aims to determine the extent of the use of Phet simulation media can improve student understanding of concepts compared to conventional methods. This research is a quantitative study, with the method being true experimental; while the design used is the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. As a population of students in class XII MAN Indrapuri, while the sample is class XII-I and XII-2 which are selected randomly and act as the experimental class and the control class. Furthermore, it is analyzed using the N-Gain index, normality test, homogeneity test and statistical test. It can be concluded that learning through Phet simulation is better than conventional learning, with an average increase in N-Gain students' concept understanding of the experimental class 78.4% and the control class 52.1%.

Abstract

Covid-19 (corona virus) can infect anyone, but the effect will be more dangerous or even fatal if it attacks the elderly, pregnant women, smokers, sufferers of certain diseases such as asthma, pneumonia, tuberculosis and diabetes mellitus and cancer sufferers. Because this disease is easy to transmit, there is also a high risk of infecting medical personnel who treat Covid-19 patients. In addition, the groups at risk of being exposed to Covid-19 are children, this is because the majority of Covid-19 sufferers are children aged 6-11 years. The purpose of the study was to determine the use of animated film promotion media in increasing knowledge about Covid-19 in class II and III students of SDN 50 Banda Aceh City in 2021. This research method is Correlative Descriptive with Random Sampling technique with a total sample of 71 students. . The time of this research was carried out on October 22-23, 2021. The results showed that of the 71 respondents before giving animated films, most of them had little knowledge about Covid-19 as many as 43 respondents (60.6%), while after giving animated films, most of them Most have good knowledge about Covid-19 as many as 53 respondents (74.6%). The conclusion is that before giving animated films, most of the students have less knowledge, while after giving animated films, most of them have good knowledge. It is hoped that respondents will increase their knowledge about Covid-19and continue to apply health protocols properly.
