Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is an outbreak condition caused by the COVID-19 virus that spreads in various regions throughout the world. As a result of this pandemic, the government issued a new policy, namely PSBB (Large-scale Social Restrictions). Self-medication is generally done to treat mild symptoms. One of the symptoms that appear during this pandemic is fever. Fever is not a disease but a symptom of various diseases. To carry out self-medication, correct and safe information is needed. Information can be obtained from various sources, one of which is television.Television advertising is the main source of information about drugs. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a relationship between advertisements for fever medicine on television and the decision to self- medication in the era of the covid-19 pandemic in the community in Sidorogo village RT 03 RW 06. This research method is a type of analytical research with a cross-sectional research design. This research was conducted in Sidorogo village RT 03 RW 06. The sampling technique was carried out using non-propability sampling, namely purposive sampling by considering inclusion and exclusion criteria and the number of respondents was 100 people. The instrument used comes from questionnaire data, which is filled out by respondents. Data analysis using Chi-square test. The results showed that the relationship between television advertisements for fever medicine and self-medication decisions had a significant p value of 0.000. The conclusion obtained is that there is a relationship between advertisements for fever medicine on television and the decision to self-medication in the era of the covid-19 pandemic in the community in Sidorogo village RT 03 RW 06. Abstract

Penelitian ini memanfaatkan kulit buah jeruk nipis dengan penambahan madu pada pembuatan sabun padat. Kulit buah jeruk nipis mengandung senyawa saponin dan flavonoid. Sedangkan kandungan nutrisi madu murni adalah : Karbohidrat, air, protein, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B5, vitamin C, folat, kalium, fosfor, sodium, potasium, zat besi, zinc, megnesium dan magan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis dengan penambahan madu dapat dijadikan sediaan sabun padat herbal deengan varian konsetrasi 1% dan 3% yang sesuai dengan persyaratan standart uji mutu fisik sabun padat. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimental. Kulit buah jeruk nipis dijadikan ekstrak menggunakan proses maserasi dengan etanol 70%, pembuatan sabun pada penelitian ini menggunkan metode dingin (Cold Process). Untuk mengetahui karakteristik sabun padat herbal ekstrak kulit buah jeruk nipis dengan uji mutu fisik sabun yang meliputi uji organoleptis, uji homogenitas, uji stabilitas busa dan uji pH. Hasil uji organoleptis pada konsentrasi 3% diperoleh warna yang lebih pekat karena dipengaruhi variasi konstrasi ekstrak kulit buah jeruk nipis dan memiliki bentuk tekstur sabun yang lebih keras dibandingkan dengan konsentrasi 1%. Uji homogenitas menunjukan bahwa kedua formulasi tidak terdapat adanya butiran kasar ataupun partikel pada permukaan sabun padat. Pada uji stabilitas busa dengan presentase busa yang hilang 0,22%-0,25% dan nilai pH yang diperoleh yaitu pH 9-11. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ekstrak kulit buah jeruk nipis dengan penambahan madu dapat diformulasikan menjadi sabun padat herbal kosentrasi 1% dan 3% sesuai dengan uji mutu fisik sabun menurut SNI 3532-2016.
