Abstract

Fingerprint semakin luas digunakan di berbagai bidang sebagai perangkat untuk identifikasi kehadiran karyawan di sebuah kantor, perusahaan, sekolah, universitas dan lain sebagainya. Di Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu Fingerprint System telah diimplementasikan namun belum dapat memenuhi kebutuhan luaran yang diinginkan oleh bagian kepegawaian. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti akan membangun aplikasi real-time monitorning kehadiran karyawan yang terintegrasi dengan fingerprint system sehingga kehadiran karyawan dapat dimonitor secara langsung. Dari penelitian ini dihasilkan sebuah aplikasi real-time monitoring kehadiran karyawan pada Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu dengan hasil pengujian bahwa secara umum aplikasi dapat berjalan baik dengan yang diharapkan, sedangkan dari hasil pengujian kecepatan sinkronisasi data dari mesin fingerprint ke aplikasi akan berjalan baik (cepat) jika data yang ada pada mesin fingerprint adalah data terbaru maksimal 1 bulan terakhir, untuk itu perlu adanya backup data yang telah lebih dari 1 bulan pada mesin fingerprint.

Abstract

Employee performance assesment is an important activity in an institution to measure the merits of it’s employee performance. Yayasan Pusdiklat PAL Indonesia is an institution that always assesses the performance of its employees in a certain period with the aim of evaluating, appreciating and motivating the performance of its employees. The employee performance assessment process carried out by Yayasan Pusdiklat PAL Indonesia is assessed by his superiors and also by other employees. The research method used in developing application of employee performance assesment at Yayasan Pusdiklat PAL Indonesia is spiral model. In the spiral model, the application development does not conducted directly in full of the needs of the application being developed, but the application will be developed in stages using a prototype. Employee performance assessment applications that are built using the Codeigniter Framework and spiral model are able to produce applications that run well, because it goes through several stages of testing and improvement. The more testing, especially by involving the user, Yayasan Pusdiklat PAL Indonesia and the improvements made will result in a better system or application.Keyword : spiral model, Employee performance appraisal applications, codeigniter, framework

Abstract

This research was conducted to create a school intranet system that can be used to support the teaching and learning process. Data collection was conducted by observation, interview and literature study in order to get the system requirement. Problems that exist in SMK Negeri 1 Kepahiang is the absence of adequate internet connection that can be used by students or teachers to conduct information search related to teaching and learning process. In addition there is no alternative system that can be used to support teaching and learning process in lieu of the internet, such as Blog, File Sharing and CBT. In this research the authors implement open source software to build a school intranet system that contains CMS, Blog, File Sharing and Computer Based test (CBT) so that the cost is very affordable. Based on the results of system implementation and testing it can be concluded that intranet systems built using open source software can be accessed on a client-server basis, user authentication runs as expected and CMS, Blog, File Sharing and CBT applications can run well. But still requires a better server specification so that its ability to serve many users will also be better. Keywords: intranet, open source, cms

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami konsep high availability clustering dan mysql database replication yang diimplementasikan dalam pengembangan server sistem informasi akademik Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi secara langsung dan wawancara terhadap pengelola server sistem informasi akademik yang ada di Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisa terhadap kondisi server dan aplikasi sistem informasi akademik yang akan dikembangkan dengan mengimplementasikan metode high availability clustering dan mysql database replication. Pengembangan server ini dilakukan dengan menambahkan dua buah server menggunakan sistem operasi Linux CentOS 6.6. Pengujian dilakukan untuk mengukur tingkat ketersediaan (availability) dan konsistensi data. Untuk menguji ketersediaan server dilakukan monitoring dengan membandingkan server sebelum dan setelah pengembangan. Sedangkan untuk menguji konsistensi data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan perubahan data dari server yang sedang melayani akses ketika salah satu server mengalami kegagalan atau down. Dari hasil pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa high availability clustering dan mysql database replication dapat meningkatkan ketersediaan (availability) dan konsistensi data pada server sistem informasi akademik Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. Kata kunci       : server, high availability clustering, mysql database replication

Abstract

This study aims to secure the network by using Fortigate as Firewall on the server computer at computer lab of IAIN Bengkulu so that it can detect attacks, counter attack, and block the attacker's IP address to the server computer. The research method used is NDLC (Network Development Life Cycle). This method aims to analyze, implement and monitor the research method. Implementing Fortigate as a Firewall to secure the server computer in the event of ICMP Flooding attack and Port scanning aimed at the server computer so that it can be identified when an attack occurs and can avoid hangs on the server computer.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to create an expert system application that can be used to diagnose diseases caused by the coxsackie virus in children using the certainty factor method. Viral infectious disease is a collection of types of diseases caused by viruses that easily attack children. Diseases that often occur in children are caused by very vulnerable viruses, this is because the immune system in the child's body has not been fully developed. One of the viruses that often attack children, among others, is the Coxsackie Virus. Coxsackie is a type of disease caused by the Coxsackie virus, which is a type of RNA virus. This virus is transmitted through the fecal oral route, namely bacteria from feces or feces that move from one person to another and enter the mouth of the other person. This system is designed using PHP Programming Language and MySQL Database. With this expert system, it is easier for users to consult about diseases caused by the Coxsackie Virus in children.

Abstract

The problem of wireless technology offers a variety of convenience, freedom and high flexibility. Wireless technology has quite a lot of advantages compared to existing wired technology, including easy access to data communication and internet access in any position as long as it is still in a wireless network. The method used is the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method, a cycle of network design stages that can guide a network design, which depends on the size of the project to be implemented and the purpose of the project. Wireless security testing uses airodump-ng as an attack medium and security analysis uses wireless packet sniffing method which will be described in the wireshak application. Packet sniffing is a process for capturing packets passing through a computer network. Based on the analysis and attack experiments carried out, it still needs improvement, this is with the airodump-ng application detecting nearby WiFi and packet sniffing attacks can display usernames and passwords using the wireshak application.

Abstract

Database is a fundamental component of an information system, where its development or use must be viewed from a broader perspective based on the needs of the organization. With the database all work becomes easier, both in data processing and viewing the output of the data. However, in addition to this convenience, it takes the security side of each record in the database to maintain data confidentiality. Implementation of Classical Cryptography in database security is made using the PHP Programming Language and MySQL Database. The classical cryptographic algorithm applied in this study is the Railfence Ciper Algorithm. Applications and application databases are uploaded online through the hosting domain https://kriptografihidayat.my.id/ and can be accessed from anywhere and anytime via the internet. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the results show that the application is able to secure the employee database in each storage field, and the functionality of the application runs as expected. The key used cannot be changed dynamically, but can be changed statically because it has been integrated into the program code to perform encryption and decryption on each input field. Record Table in the employee database that has been encrypted using the Railfence Ciper algorithm, so it cannot be read. Wireshark managed to capture the packet, but it was detected that there was an encryption process going on.

Abstract

The performance assessment of Civil Servants at the Bengkulu Province Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Service (Diskominkotik) process has utilized an e-performance application. However, the assessment of daily workers' performance is not included, which means evaluating their performance and competence would take a long time. This study aims to determine daily workers to get the best performance rewards using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The research method used was the waterfall method, supported by data from observations, interviews, and questionnaires. Unified Modeling Language (UML) was used to analyze and design the system and in the coding stage, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 software connected to a MySQL database was used, and in the testing stage, a Black-box testing approach was employed. The results showed that the implementation of the SAW method in the decision support system application could speed up the process of evaluating the performance of daily workers at Bengkulu Province Diskominkotik. Furthermore, daily workers’ performance appraisal became more objective because it involves the participation of many parties so that the results of the best daily worker employee performance appraisal can be accepted by various parties.
