Abstract

Competition in many companies can be measured by the level of productivity of the company. CV. Gavra Perkasa Gresik is a manufacturing company engaged in the wood processing industry, among the products produced is turning. So far, the company has never made productivity measurements so that, if output is low, the company thinks it is not good without analyzing the causes specifically and not paying attention to the efficiency of the use of resources (inputs) that are owned. Productivity measurement to find out how the condition of the company's productivity, whether experiencing an increase or decrease, is necessary to measure productivity using the model Marvin E. Mundel. This measurement is carried out on labor input, material, energy, capital and total input. The data needed for productivity analysis is taken from 2016 as the base period and 2017 as the measurement period. The results of calculation of productivity using the mundel model not all inputs have decreased, causing the company's total productivity to be 98.18% which has a good impact on the company.                Keywords: Productivity, CV. Abstract

PT. Indospring is a manufacturing company that produces various springs for an automotive. Among those various springs, MSM 2230 type is the most produced spring at the company. The big problem in producing the spring was related with the high waste that had impact on the low productivity. The purpose of study was to analyze the waste by using the concept of lean manufacturing particularly to identify and eliminate nonvalue added activities. The study found that there were various wastes which waiting and excessive transportation were two dominant wastes with the contribution to total of wastes at 28.96% and 18.52% respectively. The appropriate tool for further analysis on wastes was selected by using value stream mapping analysis (VALSAT), and process activity mapping (PAM) was the best tool for analyzing wastes more profoundly. The use of PAM and other tools of fishbone diagram and failure mode effect analysis (FMEA) provided important information for improvement. The implementation of improvement displayed potential increase of productivity level by reducing the processing time of the spring from 113,926.83 minutes to 75,960 minutes

Abstract

CV. Gavra Perkasa is a manufacturing industry with the finished product in the form of turning. The number of sales transactions will affect the inventory of raw materials. The problem with the company is that the company's ability to predict the amount of raw materials that must be available in the following month is not optimal due to fluctuating demand. This problem will have an impact on planning inventory inventory during the production process and recording inventory usage to optimize storage costs. This study aims to plan inventory demand in the future and to plan inventory use using the Moving average  and Exponential smoothing methods. These two methods are used because the results of the demand data plot show a stationary data pattern. The accuracy of the forecasting results was analyzed with the smallest MSE, MAD, and MAPE results. Based on the analysis results, the 5-month MA method is the most accurate with prediction results in 2017 of 57000 units with MAD, MSE, and MAPE values of 3684.21, 24345260, and 0.07.

Abstract

Abstrak. This Community Service Program is one form of Tri Dharma Higher Education activities that must be carried out including Education, Research, and Community Service. One of the activities carried out in this training was in the field of education. One of them is training on data analysis workshops in the PAI department at the Qomaruddin Islamic Institute (IAIQ) Gresik. Through community service activities, it is important for lecturers to provide a distribution of knowledge and practice in the world of education. The purpose of the activity in this study is that lecturers can implement theories in lectures at the center of society and to analyze final assignment data using statistics and application software. The method of this research is a mixture of quantitative and qualitative methods with descriptive analysis techniques. The sample of this study was 120 students majoring in PAI at IAI Qomaruddin Gresik. Implementation methods used in activities include: 1) Simple linear regression training, 2) Training in statistical hypothesis determination, 3) Descriptive statistical training, 4) Data analysis. The research was conducted on Sunday, March 10, 2016 at the Qomaruddin Gresik IAI Hall. Data collection tools and techniques are guidelines for study documentation, training, focus group discussions (FGD) and question and answer questions for students. Benefits achieved in PPM activities include lecturers having analytical and conceptual abilities through real activities in the community and being able to learn directly from the community. IAI PAI POMaruddin Students can analyze data by applying the application of statistical science to Final Project data. Qomaruddin Gresik College, especially in the Department of Islamic Education IAI Qomaruddin. In the PKM activity on the training "Data Analysis Workshop for Research in Education at the Department of Islamic Studies of the Qomaruddin Islamic Institute (IAIQ) until Gresik Bungah". The results of this training show the level of success obtained in these activities including to describe data by representing the value of data concentration and the value of data dissemination and can group large amounts of data into the form of frequency distribution, Training with Hypothesis analysis material on estimating average values, the hypothesis of the estimated value of variance and the hypothesis of the estimated value of proportions, in the regression analysis the form of the model between independent variables with non-independent variables in which the two variables are interconnected in the form of models Y = α + β X + ε, and can apply with applications in MINITAB software and SPSS.Keywords: Research, Public Service, College, Data Analysis Abstract. Program Pengabdian Masyarakat ini merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yang wajib dilakukan antara lain Pendidikan, Penelitian, dan Pengabdian Masyarakat. Salah satu kegiatan yang dilakukan pada pelatihan ini, adalah dibidang pendidikan. Salah satunya adalah pelatihan tentang workshop analisis data di jurusan PAI di Institut Agama Islam Qomaruddin (IAIQ) Gresik. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat memiliki arti penting bagi dosen untuk memberikan distribusi ilmu dan praktek di dalam dunia pendidikan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pada penelitian ini adalah Dosen dapat mengimplementasikan teori-teori dalam perkuliahan saat ditengah masyarakat dan untuk menganalisi data tugas akhir dengan menggunakan ilmu statistika dan software aplikasinya. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode campuran kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 120 mahasiswa jurusan PAI di IAI Qomaruddin Gresik. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan pada kegiatan antara lain: 1) Pelatihan regresi linier sederhana, 2) Pelatihan penentuan hipotesis statistik,3) Pelatihan statistika deskriptif, 4) Analisis Data. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada hari minggu 10 Maret 2016 bertempat di Aula IAI Qomaruddin Gresik. Alat dan teknik pengumpulan data adalah pedoman studi dokumentasi, pelatihan, focus group discussion (FGD) serta tanya jawab terhadap mahasiswa. Manfaat yang dicapai dalam kegiatan PPM antara lain Dosen memiliki kemampuan analisis dan konseptual lewat kegiatan nyata dalam masyarakat serta dapat belajar langsung dari masyarakat, Mahasiswa Jurusan PAI IAI Qomaruddin dapat menganalisis data dengan menerapkan aplikasi ilmu statistika pada data Tugas Akhir, Bertambahnya mitra kerja Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Qomaruddin Gresik Perguruan Tinggi, khususnya diJurusan PAI  IAI Qomaruddin. Dalam kegiatan PKM tentang pelatihan “Workshop Analisis Data Untuk Penelitian Di Bidang Pendidikan di Jurusan PAI Institut Agama Islam Qomaruddin (IAIQ) sampurnan Bungah Gresik”. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan ini menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan yang didapatkan dalam kegiatan tersebut diantaranya untuk mendiskriptifkan data dengan mewakili nilai pemusatan data dan nilai penyebaran data dan bisa mengelompokkan data yang jumlahnya besar kedalam bentuk distribusi frekuensi, Pelatihan dengan materi analisis Hipotesis pada pendugaan terhadap nilai rata-rata, hipotesis terhadap nilai dugaan variansi dan hipotesis terhadap nilai dugaan proporsi, pada analisis regresi bentuk model anatara variabel bebas dengan variabel tak bebas yang mana kedua variabel tesebut saling berhubungan berupa model Y = α + β X +ε, serta dapat mengaplikasikan dengan aplikasi pada software MINITAB dan SPSS.Keywords: Penelitian, Pengabdian Masyarakat, Perguruan Tinggi, Analisis Data

Abstract

PT. Indospring, Tbk as a motor vehicle producer industry is demanded to continuously improve the quality of products made in order to remain competitive in the current era of globalization. This is in line with the amount of demand that shows an upward trend. However, the performance of one of the production equipment that is not running optimally causes the output of production is low. From this problem, how is the OEE measurement as the basis of the proposed improvement design to improve the performance of the production equipment so as to achieve World Class Value standard.In performing these performance improvements, it is used OEE method application, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Diagram in solving the problems that occur. OEE calculation results show that the equipment in the Eye Forming Process has the lowest OEE value compared to Cutting and Process Punching that is equal to 77.94%. This is due to 2 factors namely Performance Factor (83.83%) and Quality Factor (96.18%). The result of analysis that the biggest factor of Performance (Unplanned Down Time) is the first because the process of set up is 733 minutes (52,47%) and secondly because the problem of mandril jam is 450 minutes (32,21%) and Eye Forming Defect ), The first is Eye forming Deformed 1034 pcs (60.50%) and the second is Eye forming Defect Grip as much as 381 pcs (22.29%). Based on the results of the analysis then made an improvement proposal based on the priority of critical problems that occur to improve the performance of equipment in the process.

Abstract

CV. Sumber Rejeki is a home industry that makes tofu, where in its production the company has not conducted a quality analysis. Because quality analysis has not been carried out properly, resulting in very high product defects that occur during production. In this study, the analysis carried out aims to identify what types of damage occur, and provide suggestions for improvements using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method. The research data were processed using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method with several stages of activity, namely making examination sheets, histograms, making Pareto diagrams, making control charts, and making cause-and-effect diagrams. The results showed that there were three types of defects, namely soft texture, wrong cut, and dirt. Through the Pareto diagram, it is clear that the percentage of damage to the soft texture is 5,116 bj or 38.8%, the second defect is 4.262 bj or 32.3%, and the last or lowest defect is 3,810 bj or 28.9 cut errors. %. Based on the analysis of the cause-and-effect diagram to find the root cause of the problem, it was found that there were four factors that needed to be improved, these factors were workers, machines, raw materials, and methods. Actions that can be taken to reduce product defects are to carry out regular machine maintenance, provide adequate training to workers, improve discipline, carry out good control of soybean raw materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk analisis masalah diperusahaan CV. Mahrem Jaya yang berkaitan dengan pemilihan supplier. Pengumpulan data dilaksankan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Diharapkan dengan analisis ini CV. Mahreem Jaya berhasil menentukan supplier yang menjadi prioritas dan terbaik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini memakai metode AHP. Dari perolehan perhitungan memakai metode AHP didapatkan bahwa supplier CV. A mendapatkan nilai akhir 0.4853 dan menempati peringkat pertama, kemudian supplier CV. D mendapatkan nilai akhir 0.3739 dan menempati peringkat kedua sedangkan supplier CV. K mendapatkan nilai akhir sebesar 0.1404. Berdasarkan perhitungan maka yang menjadi prioritas supplier dari CV. Mahrem Jaya adalah CV.strategi pemasaran bagi perusahaan CV. A sebesar 0.4853.

Abstract

UD. Arief Bersaudara merupakan home industry yang memproduksi berbagai jenis songkok di Kota Gresik. Agar dapat bersaing dengan usaha sejenis, Perusahaan perlu menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas produknya. Dalam menjalankan aktivitas produksi, Perusahaan menemukan bahwa produk yang dibuat selama produksi mengalami cacat. Cacat tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, baik dari faktor manusia, faktor mesin yang digunakan, faktor bahan baku yang digunakan berkualitas kurang baik, faktor lingkungan yang berpengaruh terhadap pencahayaan, dan juga karena faktor metode yang digunakan. Cacat produk yang terjadi berupa pengesuman kurang bagus, penjahitan kurang rapi, dan pemotongan kurang presisi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi penyebab cacat defect serta dengan menghitung nomor prioritas risiko. Metode yang digunakan untuk menemukan dan melakukan identifikasi faktor penyebab cacat pada produksi songkok adalah mengguankan metode Ishikawa Diagram. Sedangkan usulan perbaikan yang menjadi acuan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara melakukan perhitungan Risk Priority Number (RPN) dengan menghitung setiap nilai yang ada pada indicator yang diukur untuk mendapatkan nilai RPN tertinggi yang berarti memberikan dampak risiko paling besar. Metode yang digunakan adalah Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA).  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga defect yang teridentifikasi dengan nilai Risk Priority Number tertinggi 245 pada pemotongan kurang presisi, dengan nilai RPN 175 pada Penjahitan tidak rapi, dan nilai RPN 150 Pengesuman Kurang Bagus. Rekomendasi perbaikan berdasarkan hasil analisis adalah owner harus melakukan pengawasan yang baik kepada pekerja bagian, selain itu peningkatan keahlian pekerja mutlak dilakukan untuk menjamin kualitas yang baik.
