Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to improve the narrative writing learning and evaluation using serial images. This study uses the classroom action research. The subject of this study is grade IV primary school by 36 students. The results showed significant increase on students’ writing activity gradually. Evaluation of the process shows an increase in the effectiveness of the teachers’ direction to the performed activity and students’ ability. Evaluation of learning outcomes showed that cycle 1 reached good category (89%) and cycle 2 reached very good category (96%). It is recommended to principals for support the improvement of the writing narrative learning understanding and implementation on class.Keywords: narrative writing, serial images, primary school.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan pembelajaran menulis karangan narasi dan evaluasi menggunakan gambar berseri. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV berjumlah 36 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kegiatan menulis siswa secara bertahap. Evaluasi proses menunjukkan peningkatan efektivitas arahan guru terhadap aktivitas yang dilakukan dan kemampuan yang dikuasai siswa. Evaluasi hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan ada peningkatan pada siklus 1 mencapai kategori baik (89%)dan siklus 2 mencapai kategori sangat baik (96%). Disarankan kepala sekolah mendorong dan membina guru untuk berupaya meningkatkan pemahaman pembelajaran menulis karangan narasi dan pelaksanaannya di kelas.Kata Kunci : menulis karangan narasi, gambar berseri, sekolah dasar

Abstract

The mastery of various foreign languages causes frequent obstacles in the delivery of messages to the speech partners. As a result, teachers and class XI students of SMAN 2 Sangatta Utara used various communication strategies to deal with these obstacles. This study aims to describe the communication strategies used by teachers and class XI students of SMAN 2 Sangatta Utara in the class of Indonesian Language lessons. This research was done by a descriptive method and qualitative approach. The data was collected in March to October 2017 from one classroom teacher and one class XI of grade student of SMAN 2 Sangatta Utara. Data retrieval was carried out during the teaching and learning activities in the classroom when the teacher is teaching the Indonesian language. This study uses skillful free listening techniques to collect data. The data analysis was used the flow technique, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions. The validity test of the data is done by (1) persistence observations, (2) peer examination, and (3) triangulation. The results study included: (1) when communicating with classmates, students use various communication strategies namely imitation communication strategies, the use of certain body language according to the meaning of communication that they want to achieve, and the transfer awareness communication strategies. (2) communication strategies in the classroom are mostly carried out by the teacher when communicating with students. The communication strategy of students with teachers includes (a) paraphrase, (b) transfer awareness type, (c) asking for help type, (d) avoiding type and (e) imitating type.

Abstract

Writing entitled Development of Text Writing Lesson Lecture with Problem Based Learning Model Combined Image Media for Students Class XI on High School aims to examine the development of learning text writing lecture with Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with the help of picture media in grade XI high school students. The scope of this development is limited only to planning, materials and evaluation in the learning process. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R & D), using development research design with ADDIE model, ie Analysis (stage), Design (Design) stage, Development stage, Implementation stage and Evaluation stage (evaluation). Source of data that became the object in this research is the students of class XI in SMA Negeri 8 PPU. The results of development are obtained based on two aspects: feasibility, practicality and effectiveness. So that data obtained the feasibility of 71%, practicality is 84%, 83% effectiveness. Overall the quality of teaching materials that are the product of this development is categorized as appropriate for the use of odd semester class XI students. The benefits of this development for Indonesian language teachers are expected to help as an alternative choice of text lecture lessons. For students, this development model can make students more creative, innovative, more productive. For the author itself is expected to be a means to deepen science. In addition, it is hoped that the results of development will be useful for the school as a useful source of information for the development of Indonesian language learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the analysis of the needs of teachers and students, the results of field trials, and the effectiveness test so that they produce appropriate learning thematic teaching materials. This type of research is development research that refers to the ADDIE development model. The research data were obtained from the results of interviews, observation sheets, validation sheets of thematic learning teaching materials, teacher responses and test study results. The results of the assessment of the development of thematic teaching materials, validated by experts, obtained 90% of the very valid conversion results, the analysis of student learning outcomes after using the results of developing thematic teaching materials obtained 90.04% very effective categories. Thematic teaching materials developed by researchers use the ADDIE model that is feasible, effective and efficient to use in the learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat bahan ajar tematik tema 8 subtema 1 manusia dan lingkungan berbasis kearifan lokal siswa kelas V sekolah dasar, melalui pendekatan saintifik. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model teori Dick & Carey. Teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan analisis deskriptif. Subyek penelitian pada siswa kelas V SDN 002 Karangan, analisis data dengan mengkonversi skor skala rating. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat bahan ajar tematik berbasis kearifan lokal yang layak. Melalui penilaian aspek isi, aspek bahasa, aspek penyajian, strategi pembelajaran, dan aspek tampilan. Persentase penilaian oleh ke tiga ahli yaitu ahli pembelajaran 89%, ahli media 81,07%, dan ahli materi 84,78%, dengan rerata perolehan 84,59%. Produk memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan berdasarkan keterlaksanaan perangkat bahan ajar dengan perolehan nilai 85,4% serta responden guru dan siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Produk memenuhi kriteria keefektifan berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa pada uji kelas riil dengan nilai ketuntasan 88%. Pengembangan perangkat bahan ajar tematik berbasis kearifan lokal ini mengacu pada silabus dan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dikembangkan disesuaikan dengan kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

The habit-forming program is designed by schools/madrasas to accustom learners to habituation. Indonesian language learning materials can participate in habit-forming programs. The purpose of this study is to describe the participation of Indonesian language learning in the habit-forming program in terms of Indonesian language learning materials. Researchers used descriptive naturalistic qualitative methods to describe what materials in Indonesian language learning can participate in the habit-forming program at MAN 2 Samarinda. The data sources and samples in this study were students in grade XI. Researchers used triangulation techniques to collect data while testing the credibility of different data from the same source. The data analysis technique of this research uses the model developed by Creswell, namely: (1) organizing and preparing data; (2) reading all data; (3) coding; (4) describing coding; (5) constructing data. The results of this study show that Indonesian language learning materials in class XI can participate in the habit-forming program. The stimulus-response of Indonesian language learning in the habit-forming program, among others: Indonesian language learning materials as a form of habituated stimulus; and the participation of Indonesian language learning materials in the habit-forming program as a form of habituated response.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang terjadi pada pendidikan di Indonesia yang mengalami krisis pembelajaran yang cukup lama, dan keadaan ini semakin parah akibat merebaknya pandemi Covid-19, sehingga memerlukan perubahan pembelajaran yang sistematik yang dapat membantu proses pembelajaran, salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang diharapkan dapat membantu mengatasi permasalahan pendidikan tersebut yaitu dengan menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan pendekatan yang efektif yang dapat digunakan untuk menghadapi keragaman siswa dan memastikan bahwa dapat memenuhi kebutuhan individu siswa, membantu siswa berkembang dan mempersiapkan siswa dimasa yang akan datang. Penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi diharapkan dapat mengakomodir seluruh keragaman kebutuhan siswa. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan pembelajaran yang menyesuaikan terhadap minat, preferensi belajar, kesiapan siswa agar dapat mencapai tujuan belajar. Dalam penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi ada 3 aspek yang di bedakan yaitu, diferensiasi konten, diferensiasi proses, dan diferensiasi produk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat mengatasi keberagaman kebutuhan siswa dan dampak pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan mengambil kesimpulan. Penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas V D SDN 008 Samarinda Seberang didapatkan hasil bahwa dengan penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi mampu mengatasi keberagaman kebutuhan siswa yang beragam. Siswa dibagi kelompok sesuai dengan gaya belajar antara lain audio, visual dan kinestetik. Dengan dikelompokkan siswa sesuai gaya belajar dan kebutuhan yang dimiliki siswa, siswa dapat mengikuti pembelajaran dengan baik sehingga pembelajaran menjadi efektif dan tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai.
