Abstract

Kebutuhan menggunakan listrik menjadi hal yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kehidupan manusia. Perusahaan penyedian listrik sampai saat ini memonitor penggunaan daya listrik pelanggan yang menggunakan kWh meter pascabayar dilakukan secara manual melalui tenaga kerja dalam pembacaan/pencatatan jumlah daya listrik terpakai. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan kesulitan bagi petugas dalam pembacaan/pencatatan karena jika pagar rumah terkunci saat ditinggal pergi oleh pelanggan, tentu akan menyebabkan besarnya konsumsi waktu. Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas, penulis telah membuat suatu alat yang dapat memonitor penggunaan daya listrik kWh meter menggunakan sensor potodioda dan SMS (Short Message Service) sebagai media komunikasi data untuk memudahkan pengambilan jumlah kWh terpakai. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, alat yang dibuat dapat bekerja dengan baik dan memenuhi semua spesifikasi awal perancangan. Saat diuji secara keseluruhan, alat mampu mengubah tampilan kwh meter analog menjadi tampilan digital dan mengirimkan informasi data kWh terpakai melalui sms gateway. Pada pembacaan kWh meter kovensional dengan sms gateway terjadi selisih yaitu sebesar 0.0023%. Perbedaan tersebut terjadi karena ketelitian sms gateway lebih baik. Sedangkan  selisih alat berdasarkan rumus adalah sebesar 0.04 %. Kata kunci: kWh Meter, Potodioda, SMS    The need to use electricity becomes inseparable from human life. To date, electricity providers still monitor customr electric power usage using postpaid kWh meter manually through labor in the reading/recording of the amount of electric power used. This can cause difficulties for the officer in the reading/recording because if the fence is locked when the customer is not home, it will certainly cause the amount of time consumption. Thus, the authors have created a tool that can monitor the use of electric power kWh meters using sensor potodioda and SMS (Short Message Service) as a data communication media to facilitate the taking of the number of kWh used. The results of this study indicate, the tool is made to work well and meet all the initial design specifications. When tested in its entirety, the tool is able to convert the analog kWh meter display into a digital display and sends the kWh data used via the sms gateway. At the kWh meter reading kovensional with sms gateway happened difference that is equal to 0.0023%. The difference occurs because sms gateway accuracy is better. While the difference in the tool based on the formula is 0.04%. Keywords : kWh Meter, Photodioda, SMS

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi dalam pembelajaransemakin berkembang, termasuk dengan memanfaatkan kemampuanperangkat bergerak (mobile devices), atau yang lebih poputer dengannama mobile elarning. Tulisan ini secara khusus memaparkan teknikpembuatan konten pembelajaran dalam srsfem mobile learning.Dalam tulisan ini, diuraikan bagaimana strategi dan teknikpengembangan konten, baik dipandang dari aspekteknologi maupunaspek pembelajaran (instruksional). Aspek teknologi membahaskemampuan dan fiturteknologi mobile yang ada saat ini, sedangkanaspek pembelajaran membahas persoalan efektifitas konten yangdiokembangkan berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip pedagogik.

Abstract

Umumnya, pengembangan program pembelajaran online di lingkungan korporat masih berkisar pada materi pelatihan kognitif tingkat rendah. Penelitian ini difokuskan kepada pengembangan keterampilan menggunakan tools penyelesaian masalah, yang bersifat pemikiran kompleks. Metodologi yang digunkan adalah penelitian pengembangan, yang dimulai dari analisis dan desain, pengembangan, sampai dengan evaluasi formatif terhadap hasil pengembangan tersebut. Dari hasil analisis program yang dikembangkan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa program sudah memenuhi standar online learning dan dapat diintegrasikan dengan LMS (Learning Management System) yang sudah ada. Meskipun demikian, karena kebijakan dan keterbatasan sumber daya yang tersedia, maka beberapa fitur penting dalam LMS belum bias dimanfaatkan secara optimal untuk penyelenggaraan belajar online yang lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

The convergence of telecommunications and information technology has accelerated the application of mobile technology in various areas of society, including the field of learning. M-learning (mobile learning) is only one kind of the application of mobile technology in education and training that is now being popularized, applied and available in the market place. As an institution that promotes modern education and training in the Ministry of TransportationRepublic of Indonesia, ATKP (Akademi Teknik dan Keselamatan Penerbangan) Surabaya anticipated the change of learning technology. To meet this challenge, ATKP hasstarted to implement m-learning and its integration with other learning system. As a result, ATKP is now able to provide the technology, establish the rules and policy, help develop human resource, as well as provide benchmarking services. Up to this date, ATKP has achieved and implemented a whole new idea in learning, especially in utilizing information and communication technology in mobile learning, as shown by their staff as well as the cadets. It is recognized that the ATKP future development is largely determined by the efforts related to the growing awareness in the academic community in optimizing new learning resources that have been constructed.

Abstract

Penggunaan jaringan nirkabel (Wireless LAN) dalam menunjang pekerjaan sehari-hari semakin meningkat, baikdi kantor maupun non-kantor. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kinerja jaringan WLAN frekuensi 5 GHz sebagaialternatif WLAN 2,4 GHz yang selama ini banyak digunakan. Observasi dilakukan untuk melihat kinerja WLAN padaimplementasi di lapangan yang sesungguhnya, yakni penggunaan pada ruang perkantoran. Pengujian parameter untukkedua jenis jaringan WLAN dilakukan dengan mengukur throughput, delay, dan packet loss masing-masing padajarak 3m, 6m, 9m, dan 12m. Hasil pengukuran tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan standar kebutuhanpekerjaan dan Standar TIPHON. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja jaringan WLAN 5 GHz memang lebihbaik dibandingkan kinerja WLAN 2,4 GHZ sebagaimana fitur yang dijanjikan, khususnya dalam hal throughput dandelay yang dihasilkan. Meskipun demikian, perbedaan yang ditunjukkan tidak begitu signifikan.

Abstract

Fifth generation (5G) cellular communication system needs more require higher data rate. One of the major innovations in 5G system is to utilize the millimeter wave (mm-wave) spectrum above 24 GHz together with a beam-controlled phased array antenna. This study aims to design a microstrip antenna with a working frequency of 24.25 GHz- 27.5 GHz with a bandwidth of 3.25 GHz. The patch used is a square double slit and given a U-shaped slot that can change the parameter value, the proximity coupled rationing method with an impedance value (ZL) of 50 Ohms. This microstrip antenna design uses double side PCB RTD Duroid 5880 series dielectric material. The selection of RT Duroid 5880 has a thickness of 1.575 mm, and the dielectric constant value of 2.2 as a substrate is considered suitable for high frequencies (above 10 GHz). The conductor material uses copper with a thickness of 0.035 mm. This study produces dimensional simulation before and after optimization of the working frequency of 26 GHz. Before optimization, the return loss value was -6,625 dB, VSWR 2.7481 and gain 5 dBi. Once optimal, the resulting loss value is -15,821 dB, VSWR 1.3861 and a gain value of 10.1 dBi. Antenna that has been manufactured, is implemented on wifi modem, where the modem The manufactured antenna is implemented on a Wi-Fi modem, where the modem specifications are in 4G. Antenna 5G installed on a wifi modem is still proven to be connected and can be used to access the internet. but the 5G antenna that is attached to the wifi modem can still be connected and can be used to access the internet.

Abstract

The facilities used by Posyandu cadres in weighing and measuring the height of children under five are not sufficient, because apart from that, they are not feasible nor are they calibrated accurately. Especially for measuring the height of toddlers, so far the posyandu generally still use the manual method, Based on this background, a digital height measuring device was designed in order to refer to the mission of the Unisma Bekasi Faculty of Engineering in an effort to increase the quantity and quality of community service (PPM) in the field of applied technology (appropriate technology), so this program was implemented. The PPM partners targeted for this program are Posyandu Kemuning cadres, Jatirasa Village, Jatiasih District, Bekasi City. The results of the design of this tool complete the automatic height measurement which is quite satisfactory at the Kemuning Posyandu, Jatirasa Village, Jatiasih District, Bekasi City. Development of a baby height and body mass measurement tool based on the ATmega 8535 microcontroller by utilizing a phototransistor sensor.

Abstract

Ping pong ball throwers are used as automatic ball shooters as a method of self-training and training the skills of professional athletes. By adding wireless communication, ping pong ball throwers can be controlled remotely. The controller interface is created using the App Inventor so that controllers can be carried out via smart phones. To get the ball throwing “service” required a combination of parameter values of the speed of the ejection motor and the angle of the servo motor.
