Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini menggunakan filler sedimen sungai dan batu dengan bahan pengikat aspal retona blend 55. Sedimen sungai dan abu batu merupakan partikel kasar, halus yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pengisi (filler) pada lapisan AC-WC. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan filler sedimen sungai dan abu batu terhadap karakteristik marshall pada lapisan AC-WC sesuai spesifikasi Bina Marga 2018 Revisi 1 Divisi 6 menggunakan variasi filler75%:25% dengan kadar aspal optimum 5,5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapat nilai stabilitas 1086,188 kg, flow 3,4 mm, VIM 4,16%, VMA 16,13%, VFA 74,22%, MQ 316,72 kg/mm pada rendaman 30 menit, stabilitas 1011,608 kg, flow 3,6 mm VIM 4,62%, VMA 16,53%, VFA 72,06%, MQ 278,93kg/mm pada rendaman 24 jam, hasil yang diperoleh setiap variasi filler memenuhi syarat spesifikasi Bina Marga 2018. Nilai durabilitas memenuhi persyaratan yaitu > 90% dari stabilitas normal dengan hasil 93,13%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa filler sedimen sungai dan abu batu bisa digunakan dalam lapisan AC-WC. Abstract

Abstract Aceh merupakan salah satu provinsi di Indonesia dengan instensitas kegempaan yang cukup tinggi sehingga kewaspadaan terkait kerusakan yang terjadi akan lebih besar baik ancaman jatuhnya korban jiwa serta kerusakan terhadap bangunan. Salah satu metode untuk mengurangi energi gempa yaitu dengan menambahkan seismic device pada bagman tertentu bangunan sesuai dengan fungsinya masing-masing. Salah satu sistem seismic device yang digunakan adalah menggunakan sistem isolasi dengan konsep memisahkan antara struktur bangunan bawah dengan bangunan struktur atas yaitu antara pondasi dengan kolom sehingga jika terjadi gempa, gaya yang diterima pondasi tidak langsung di terima oleh struktur kolom namun di redam oleh base isolation ini. Hasil analisis digunakan untuk mendesain gedung pada yang terletak di zona gempa kuat untuk daerah Aceh Barat dengan metode respons spektrum menggunakan software Etabs. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisa struktur, gedung yang ditinjau menggunakan High Damping Rubber Bearing mengalami reduksi gaya geser pada struktur sebesar 16,44%.  Keywords:  Seismik, base isolation, Respons spektrum, HDRB, Software Etabs

Abstract

Teuku Umar University (UTU) is a public university located in West Aceh Regency. The number of active students at UTU was recorded as 6,636 in the academic year 2021-2022. Currently, the UTU campus lacks public transportation serving its vicinity. This study aims to identify the daily activities of UTU students in commuting to the campus and to determine the extent of students' response to the implementation of public transportation services within a ±5 KM buffer zone from the UTU campus. This research utilizes two types of data analysis methods, namely qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive. The research findings indicate that 93.5% of students strongly agree with the concept of implementing public transportation, and 75.3% of students agree to switch from private vehicles to public transportation. The majority of daily travel activities are conducted by female students, accounting for 54% compared to 46% of male students. The modes of transportation used to reach the campus are motorcycles (56%), bicycles (6%), and walking (38%). Regarding the frequency of departure times to the campus, 41% of students depart at 08:00 AM, 23% at 09:40 AM, 15% at 10:30 AM, 12% at 11:20 AM, 6% at 01:50 PM, and 3% depart at 04:20 PM. As for the frequency of return times, 16% return at 01:30 PM, 21% at 11:20 AM, 34% at 01:50 PM, 10% at 03:30 PM, 16% at 04:20 PM, and 3% return at 05:10 PM. Based on this study, we recommend developing a dedicated public transportation service concept for UTU students. Data on students' daily activities can serve as crucial input for the future development of public transportation projects.

Abstract

Garbage is the remnants of the use of human activities that are no longer needed. Garbage is one of the things that can have a negative impact on development. Improvement through the participation of the community is the key to the success of efforts to build a city in order to create a clean and safe city from the adverse effects caused by waste. In 2019 the West Aceh District Environmental Service (DLHK) has carried out at least 129 m3 of garbage dumping and is only able to handle 114.3 m3 of waste from the total services spread across four sub-districts which are waste management services, namely Johan Pahlawan District of 66,601 m3, Samatiga 15,787 m3, Meureubo 31,486 m3, and Kaway XVI 22,524 m3. So waste becomes one of the serious problems for sustainable city development and a countermeasures must be taken. This research method uses the Likert scale method, the results of the calculation of the number of samples using the Slovin formula are 41 respondents. From the results of calculations based on the questionnaire submitted to the respondents, the score was 40.878%. So the conclusion is that the ADB1 housing complex community is still not satisfied with waste management, and it is also urgently needed support from various parties, both government and institutions related to waste management.

Abstract

Meulaboh memiliki pertemuan jalan atau simpang, salah satunya Simpang Gunong Kleng tak bersinyal berada di Sta 08+000 lintas jalan nasional arah Barat - Selatan Kecamatan Meureubo, Aceh Barat. Rutinitas simpang di pengaruhi mahasiswa menuju ke kampus Universitas Teuku Umar dan TNI AD menuju ke Batalyon Infanteri 116/Garda Samudera (Yonif 116/GS) Alue Peunyareng, dan sebagainya. Kajian ini meneliti tentang analisis tingkat pelayanan (LoS) terhadap kinerja simpang berdasarkan metode HCM 2000. Permasalahan yang diangkat dan juga menjadi tujuan penelitian berapa besar kinerja simpang terhadap volume arus, critical gap dan follow up time, kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan, panjang antrian dan delay serta pengaruh nilai akhir LoS. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Simpang Gunong Kleng (tipe 324M) dengan radius setiap lengan 100 meter. Pengamatan 3 hari selama 6 jam per hari. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan, besaran volume lalu lintas dari pergerakan V1 = 845 veh/h, V2 = 3703 veh/h, V3 = 3464 veh/h, V4 = 252 veh/h, V5 = 281 veh/h, dan V6 = 557 veh/h. Kapasitas yang terjadi, dilihat dari pergerakan 5 = 281 veh/h, 6 = 557 veh/h, 1 = 845 veh/h, dan 4 = 252 veh/h. Derajat kejenuhan, menunjukan pergerakan 5 = 0.05, 6 = 0.09, 1 = 0.10, dan 4 = 0.03. Control delay pada pergerakan 5 = 5.62 s/veh, 6 = 5.65 s/veh, 1 = 5.50 s/veh dan 4 = 5.46 s/veh. Hasil akhir dari LoS simpang tersebut dari pergerakan (1, 4, 5 dan 6), menunjukkan tingkat A.
