Abstract

This research was a development research that aim to produce teaching materials in the form of Student Worksheets based un Contextual Teaching and Learning on Mirror material.  This study used ADDIE development model, with stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This study used instruments in the form of worksheets validation sheets, worksheets material validation sheets, and posttest sheets. The result of the study showed that the worksheets developed had met the aspects of validity, and effectiveness. The validity aspect was shown by the results of the worksheets validation of 3,71 and the results of the worksheets material validation of 3,92 with very valid categories. The mastery of student learning outcomes amounted to be 77,8 (Effective), and mastery of learning objective was 78,8 including the effective category. So that it can be concluded that the worksheets developed were qualified and worthy of being used as a learning resource.

Abstract

The general purpose of this study was to describe the application of the jigsaw learning model on Light and Optical Devices material. The specific purposes were (1) describing the implication of the jigsaw learning model, (2) describing completeness of learning after applying the jigsaw learning model and (3) describing student responses after learning by applying the jigsaw learning model. This was a quantitative and qualitative descriptive research because the data obtained was the form of the nominal described. Data collection techniques in the study were observation, test and questionnaires methods. The data gained were analysed used qualitative and quantitative fly The results showed that The implementation of learning based on teacher activities at the first and second meetings goes an average of 82,35% with very good criteria. The value of completeness of students achieved 86 with complete criteria. Students’ positive response to model jigsaw learning reached 90,95% with very good criteria.

Abstract

The type of research used was Pre-eksperimental Design and the design form is One-Shot Case Study. The sample used in this study was class VIII E students consisting of 29 students taken by purposive sampling technique, namely sampling techniques with certain considerations. The results of observations showed that students were active in learning using the 7E Learning Cycle model with an average of 74,36% with active category. Student learning outcomes had a classical completeness value of 68% so that student learning outcomes were not completed because it was less than 75%. The learning indicators obtained classical completeness values of 42,85% with incomplete categories. While the students positive response to learning using the 7E Leaning Cycle got to 100%. It could be cocluded that the 7E Learning Cycle learning model was less effective for Vibration and Wave material.ibe students responses to the learning using the Learning Cycle 7E learning model. Abstract

Higher order thinking skills (HOTS) is a thinking process at a higher level. It is not just memorizing facts, it involves mental activity in an effort to explore complex, reflective, and creative experiences. Indicators for measuring higher order thinking skills are analyzing, evaluating, and creating. These three indicators include critical thinking, creative thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills. This research aimed to describe validity, reliability, and level of difficulty test items of higher order thinking skills of Respiratory System matter. This was development research referring to the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The development of HOTS based assessment instrument was conducted at Biology Department – Universitas Negeri Surabaya and the trial activity was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo. The theoretical validity was determined based on the results of the validation by matter expert and education expert using the validation sheet. The aspect of validity rated based on the aspects of concept, construction, language, and HOTS. The empirical validity was determined based on the result test items of HOTS on 40 students of class XI to identified empirical validity, reliability, and difficulty levels using the HOTS-based test items sheet. The results showed that the theoretical validity of the assessment instrument reached 98.19% and included in a very valid category. The empirical validity of 15 test items of HOTS were considered valid with the value of R (count) > 0.312. The reliability value of assessment instrument was 0.740 with a high level of consistency. The proportion of difficulty level was 60% with moderate category and 40% with difficult category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the HOTS-based assessment instrument of the Respiratory System was valid and reliable. Abstract

Abad 21 peran guru mengalami perubahan. Guru diharuskan lebih memanfaatkan teknologi yang ada. Banyak ragam sumber belajar yang memanfaatkan teknologi saat ini yakni secara online yang dimanfaatkan untuk proses belajar. Pemanfaatan internet dalam pembelajaran juga bisa dilengkapi dengan Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik (LKPD). Salah satu alternatifnya adalah penggunaan LKPD berbasis Edmodo dengan Pendekatan Saintifik pada sub materi Jaringan Epitel dan Jaringan Otot. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan LKPD berbasis Edmodo dengan Pendekatan Saintifik pada Sub Materi Jaringan Epitel dan Jaringan Otot kelas XI SMA yang valid berdasarkan telaah para ahli. LKPD yang digunakan berbasis Edmodo dengan pendekatan saintifik yaitu pendekatan dengan melakukan kegiatan mengamati, menanya, mengumpulkan data, menalar, dan mengomunikasikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D yang terdiri atas 4 tahap, yaitu pendefinisian (define), perencanaan (design), pengembangan (develop) dan penyebaran (disseminate). Namun tahap penyebaran (disseminate) tidak dilaksanakan hanya sampai tahap develop, yaitu tahap validasi LKPD. Validitas LKPD diukur berdasarkan komponen isi, bahasa, penyajian dan karakteristik LKPD berbasis Edmodo. LKPD yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh dosen biologi ahli materi dan dosen biologi ahli pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata validitas secara keseluruhan yaitu 3,79 yang artinya LKPD yang dikembangkan dinyatakan masuk dalam kriteria sangat valid secara teoritis. Oleh karena itu, LKPD hasil pengembangan layak untuk diuji coba. Kata Kunci: Edmodo, LKPD, validitas

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran di Indonesia selama pandemi Covid-19 dilaksanakan secara daring mulai Maret2020 hingga sekarang. Menurut salah satu guru biologi, pembelajaran daring ini mengakibatkan pesertadidik kurang aktif serta kurang dilatih untuk berpikir kritis. Salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasinya yaitumengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis Think Pair Share (TPS) pada Materi Sistem Gerak Manusia untukmelatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan E-LKPD berbasis TPSuntuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian inimenggunakan model pengembangan 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, tanpa tahap Disseminate).Keterampilan berpikir kritis yang dilatihkan ialah eksplanasi, interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi dan inferensi.Validitas E-LKPD diperoleh dari hasil validasi dosen pendidikan biologi, dosen ahli media serta gurubiologi berdasarkan aspek penyajian, isi, bahasa dan syarat didaktik. Kepraktisan E-LKPD diperolehberdasarkan respon positif peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 5 SMAN 1 Gondang. Analisis data dilakukansecara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD mendapat skor sebesar 3,9dengan kategori sangat valid. E-LKPD mendapat respon positif peserta didik sebesar 97% sehinggaberkategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa, penelitian inimenghasilkan E-LKPD yang berkategori valid dan praktis untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran.Kata kunci: E-LKPD, TPS, berpikir kritis, Sistem Gerak Manusia

Abstract

Indonesia pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021 menerapkan kegiatan pembelajaran jarak jauh atau online karenapandemi COVID-19. Salah satu alternatif sumber belajar yang dapat digunakan pada kondisi ini yaitu bukuelektronik berupa flipbook. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan flipbook pada materi Sistem Ekskresi padaManusia untuk melatih keterampilan literasi digital siswa kelas XI SMA yang valid dan praktis. Penelitianini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate), tanpa tahapDisseminate. Validitas flipbook ditentukan berdasarkan hasil validasi pakar pendidikan biologi dan gurubiologi ditinjau dari aspek penyajian, didaktik, isi, kebahasaan, serta literasi digital. Kepraktisan flipbookditentukan berdasarkan hasil uji keterbacaan flipbook dengan Grafik Fry, respon guru dan siswa. Datadianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa flipbookdinyatakan sangat valid dengan rata-rata skor validitas sebesar 3,81. Flipbook juga berkategori sangat praktisdengan rata-rata respon positif guru sebesar 98,33% dan siswa sebesar 92,97%, serta rata-rata keterbacaanflipbook berada pada level 11 berkategori sulit (sesuai untuk siswa SMA). Berdasarkan data, dapatdisimpulkan bahwa peneltian ini menghasilkan flipbook pada materi Sistem Ekskresi pada Manusia untukmelatih keterampilan literasi digital siswa kelas XI SMA yang berkategori sangat valid dan sangat praktisuntuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh.Kata kunci: flipbook, Sistem Ekskresi pada Manusia, literasi digital

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berdasarkan penyebaran angket kepada peserta didik di SMP N 1 Ngoro yang menunjukkan bahwa buku masih menjadi sumber belajar utama. Pembelajaran konvensional masih mendominasi proses pembelajaran di kelas. Materi Lapisan Bumi dianggap sulit oleh peserta didik karena banyak istilah asing yang harus dihafal oleh peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan LKPD berbasis pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada materi Lapisan Bumi kelas VII berdasarkan prosedur pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan mendeskripsikan Validitas LKPD berbasis pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada materi Lapisan Bumi kelass VII yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang dikembangkan oleh Dick and Carrey. Model pengembangan ini memiliki lima tahapan yaitu, 1) analize, 2) design, 3) develop 4) implementation, 5 ) evaluate. Validitas LKPD didapatkan setelah draft LKPD yang telah direviu oleh dosen pembimbing di validasi ke dua dosen IPA dan satu guru SMP. Penelitian ini menghasilkan LKPD IPA berbasis pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada materi Lapisan Bumi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh 3 validator (2 dosen IPA dan 1 guru IPA) diperoleh hasil validasi sebesar 3,57 dan dikategorikan sangat valid untuk LKPD materi Lapisan Bumi untuk kelas VII.

Abstract

Analisis butir soal merupakan proses mengkaji kualitas butir soal untuk menentukan kelayakan penggunaannya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kualitas butir soal yang dikembangkan guru pada materi Sistem Gerak Manusia kelas XI IPA berdasarkan validitas teoritis dan validitas empiris. Validitas teoritis ditentukan berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli pada aspek tingkat kognitif, materi, konstruksi, dan bahasa. Validitas empiris ditentukan berdasarkan validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda soal. Penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan aspek materi dan bahasa, soal dinyatakan valid, sedangkan berdasarkan aspek konstruksi, banyak butir soal tidak valid, serta didominasi tingkat kognitif C1, C2, dan C3. Secara empiris, butir soal tipe pilihan ganda termasuk kategori valid (25%) dan tidak valid (75%), reliabilitas rendah, serta berkategori sangat mudah (20%), mudah (15%), sedang (50%), dan sukar (15%), berdaya beda baik (35%), cukup (35%), dan buruk (30%). Butir soal tipe uraian memiliki kategori valid (60%), tidak valid (40%), reliabilitas rendah, serta termasuk kategori sangat mudah (20%), mudah (40%), dan sedang (40%), berdaya beda sangat baik (20%), baik (20%), dan cukup (40%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan validitas teoritis, butir soal berkategori valid, namun didominasi tingkat kognitif C1, C2, dan C3, serta tidak valid secara empiris. Abstract

Students in one of the Islamic junior high schools (MTs) in Jombang are better able to understand science material by using visual learning media. One of the science materials that requires visual media is the interaction between living things. This was a development research. The general purpose of this study was to develop modified flashcards as learning media for junior high school on the material of interaction among living things. Meanwhile, the main purposes were to describe the process and results of developing the media. This research used the ADDIE development model which stands for Analize, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The modified flashcard media after being developed was then examined for their validity and practicality. The results of the analysis showed that the modified flashcard media on the interaction material among living things obtained averages of validity score of 3.6 and practicality score of 3.83. Based on these results, the developed media belongs to the category of very valid and very practical.
