Abstract

AbstractChanges to regulations for publications are one of the policies towards world-class universities. This study discusses the variables that are able to influence the commitment to change students, with the aim that students committed to changes. In more detail, this journal discusses the relationship of psychological contracts to a commitment to change with academic resilience as mediation. The research method in this study is a quantitative method. The questionnaire was distributed using random sampling techniques and answers from 100 participants obtained implemented using SEM (Structure Equation Modelling) with the Smart PLS 3. The conclusion is: (1) psychological contracts have a positive and significant effect on commitment to change, (2) psychological contracts that are positive and significant to academic resilience, (3) academic resilience positive and significant to commitment to change, (4) academic resilience mediates the relationship between psychological contracts and commitment to change. That means, to increase student commitment to changes in regulations, stakeholders in higher education, can make a stronger psychological contract and assist students in increasing their academic resilience.Keywords: Psychological Contract, Academic Resilience, Commitment to Change, High Education AbstrakPerubahan peraturan terkait publikasi merupakan salah satu kebijakan perguruan tinggi menuju world class university. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel-variabel yang mampu mempengaruhi commitment to change mahasiswa, dengan tujuan agar mahasiswa tetap commit pada perubahan peraturan tersebut. Lebih detail, studi ini menguji hubungan kontrak psikologis terhadap commitment to change dengan resiliensi akademik sebagai mediasi.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Kuesioner disebarkan menggunakan teknik random sampling dan jawaban dari 100 partisipan yang didapat dianalisis menggunakan SEM (Structure Equation Modelling) dan bantuan program Smart PLS 3. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa (1) kontrak psikologis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap commitment to change, (2) kontrak psikologis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap resiliensi akademik, (3) resiliensi akademik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap commitment to change, (4) resiliensi akademik memediasi hubungan antara kontrak psikologis dan commitment to change. Artinya, untuk meningkatkan komitmen mahasiswa terhadap perubahan peraturan, pemangku kepentingan di perguruan tinggi dapat membentuk kontrak psikologis yang kuat dengan mahasiswa serta membantu mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan resiliensi akademik mereka.Kata Kunci: Kontrak psikologis, resiliensi akademik, commitment to change, perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the simultaneous relationship between leverage and market share as a determinant of market competition for manufacturing companies in Indonesia. The model used in this study is the TSLS (Two Stage Least Square) and testing with OLS (Ordinary Least Square), the testing tool used is SPSS. The object of research used in this study is a Manufacturing Company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015-2020 with a total of 122 companies that have fit with criteria for the research sample. The results of the study show that the two endogenous variables: leverage and market share, have a significant positive correlation with each other, which means that there is a simultaneous relationship between leverage policy and market share as an indicator of the competitive position of the product market.

Abstract

The assessment method of human resource that is often used, but has not been widely discussed in empirical studies is the Forced Distribution Rating Performance Appraisal (FDRPA). This study examines the effect of FDRPA on task performance mediated by motivation and retention. Data from Relationship Managers at a bank in Surabaya that implements the FDRPA system. Data collect is 81 people. The results show that FDRPA has a positive effect on task performance. Where, motivation and retention also show the mediating role of the relationship between FDRPA on task performance. This shows that management needs to understand that the factors in improving the performance of the task, there are variable motivation and retention that need to be considered as well. Furthermore, management is expected to be able to manage the implementation of FDRPA well, so that these positive benefits can continue to be sustainable.

Abstract

The government's program "Belanja di Warung Tetangga" is one of the efforts to increase sales transactions at traditional grocery stores (Toko kelontong). On the other hand, with restrictions on the public's movement space due to an appeal from the government to suppress the spread of COVID-19, people's spending behavior has begun to change. If you usually shop at the supermarket, stay at home and shop at the store near your house. This shows the fact that traditional grocery store buyers have indeed declined, but sales of household goods have continued. Sales of basic commodities are still operating. Traditional Grocery stores cannot control people's purchasing power because indeed the global economic conditions are not good, but their business does not immediately close. Therefore, while surviving in the midst of a pandemic, it is possible that traditional grocery stores can streamline their operations. This STIESIA’s teams activity with traditional grocery store business partners outlines solutions to traditional grocery store problems, through financial management using the "buku warung" application. The Stiesia's teams, acts as a facilitator as well as a companion from the the traditional grocery store with the developer of the Buku Warung. The fundamental contribution of this activity is the improvement of traditional grocery stores in managing their financial effectiveness. Increasing the understanding of traditional grocery store regarding digital financial records and opening up the insight of owners on current technological developments. The hope is, during this pandemic, traditional grocery stores can survive and be able to perform financial efficiency.

Abstract

Tax compliance is one of the factors supporting the successful of taxation.  E-filling is one of the applications provided by Directorate General of Taxes to report tax online. The level of public trust in government will be expected to affect tax compliance. External factors such as environment around taxpayers will be expected to influence indirectly tax compliance. Based on the description, this study tries to prove the effect of e-Filling, the level of trust on tax compliance, with the environment as a moderating variable. The population of the study is the employees of Cooperatives & Micro Business Office Sidoarjo who are taxpayers and at least have used e-filling, totalling 65 respondents. The method of the study used PLS-SEM. The results show that e-Filling and environment has a significant positive effect on tax compliance, but not for the level of trust. The environment moderates the relationship between e-Filling on tax compliance, but there is no moderating relationship between the level of trust and tax compliance.

Abstract

This abdimas activity took the theme of 'back to basic' or back to basics, because it saw the condition of SME partners, the majority of whom had micro/small business scale. In this case, the abdimas team provides training in simple bookkeeping and marketing management with the main focus being partners' understanding of the importance of keeping financial records, changing the mindset of partners who initially saw financial bookkeeping as difficult but became easy. After the training, the STIESIA abdimas team assisted partners to become proficient in making financial reports. Located in Dapur Djitoe, which is one of the partner SMEs, so that partners contribute to providing a place for activities and empowering SME products as consumption activities as well as promotional events for other UMK products. The initial stage starts with understanding the basics of making simple bookkeeping and understanding related to marketing management, the next activity the abdimas team will use bookkeeping applications, then on the marketing side there will be training and digital marketing assistance, cataloging techniques, employee management management, supply chain and recording business legality. Thus, this basic activity is expected to be able to become the foundation for SME partners in maintaining their business, expanding market share and developing their business.

Abstract

During a pandemic, the environment around employees is considered a virus carrier, which can endanger their lives. Employees also fear that they will carry the virus and infect their surroundings. This condition is called psychosocial stress. This study aims to prove empirically how psychosocial stress from the impact of COVID-19 can affect employee job satisfaction. Add the variables of job stress and job insecurity as the variables tested indirectly. This study uses a quantitative method with data from the snowball sampling technique on direct sales employees in Surabaya. Two hundred thirty seven samples are obtained. The findings show no direct effect between the psychosocial stress impact of COVID-19 on employee job satisfaction. However, adding indirect test variables, namely job insecurity and job stress, shows significant results. That is, explains that the characteristics of employees in Surabaya agree that they feel the effects of psychosocial stress due to COVID-19. However, these conditions do not affect whether they are satisfied or not at work. Nevertheless, when they feel insecure about their job, and there is stress from work, they feel unsatisfied. The findings of this research provide a theoretical contribution to managing employee stress management in the current turbulent times.

Abstract

Di Jawa Timur, terdapat sentra produksi rumput laut yang berpotensi ekspor yaitu di Kecamatan Tanjungsari, Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Mayoritas penduduk disana merupakan pembudiyaya rumput laut, dengan jenis laut Gracilia sp. yang merupakan bahan utama pembuatan agar-agar. Para petani memanen dan mengeringkan rumput laut dan dijual di Koperasi SidoMulyo 5758. Koperasi ini bertindak sebagai pengepul yang selanjutnya meneruskan pada perusahaan pembuat agar-agar ataupun di ekspor. Sebagian besar kaum perempuan di Dusun Tanjungsari-Sidoarjo tidak mempunyai pekerjaan tetap selain mengurus rumah tangga. Setiap harinya mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah dan selebihnya digunakan untuk berkumpul dengan ibu lainnya sambil menunggu suami pulang. Dari permasalahan tersebut, perempuan desa tanjungsari memerlukan pembinaan dan pendampingan untuk dapat memaksimalkan produk unggulan yaitu rumput laut. Produk olahan rumput laut yang dihasilkan nantinya memiliki nilai tambah (value added) yang mampu meningkatkan per­ekonomian keluarga. Adapun metode yang kami lakukan terbagi menjadi tiga tahapan: pertama yaitu analisis situasi/survei pendahuluan dengan kegiatan FGD (focus group discussion) dengan perwakilan kelompok perempuan petani rumput laut dan perwakilan dari Dinas Perikanan dan Kelautan di Sidoarjo. Dari FGD tersebut didapatkan output berupa matrik SWOT dan perancangan kegiatan yang disarankan. SWOT yang sudah dirumuskan digunakan sebagai acuhan kegiatan selanjutnya yaitu tahapan kedua, pelaksanaan pelatihan. Pelatihan yang dilaksanakan bertema kewirausahaan. Dimana materi yang disampaikan berupa pengelolaan rumput laut yang bernilai ekonomis. Kegiatan ketiga yaitu pendampingan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah peserta sangat antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan dan implementasi matriks SWOT sangat perlu untuk dilakukan keberlanjutan.
