Abstract

Asean Economic Community (AEC) implemented in 2015 is an effort to increase economic growth in Southeast Asia. Logistics is one of the priority integration sectors in the AEC.  In the logistics service sector, as a maritime country, Indonesia consists of thousands of islands which are inseparable unity. This condition makes Indonesia as a country that has import port transportation on front line and inter island transportation. In facing the , Indonesia is required to build an integrated National Logistics System (Sislognas).According to the Logistics Performance Index of World Bank 2010 Indonesia was ranked 75 out of 183 countries. Logistic system in Indonesia still need better handling, besides settling vision problem and mission which not yet integrated. In addition to infrastructure, vision and mission to support the improvement of business competitiveness in Indonesia is also not well integrated and coordinated. The system can be realized if supported by human resources who have logistics knowledge. Lack of human resources in the field of logistics more due to two factors, namely quality and speed.  With the implementation of AEC, the government and business people must be ready and face it by preparing business strategy, especially improving human resources in logistics so that Indonesia can compete in this era.Management professionalism, information systems, culture, functional strategies must run simultaneously to achieve a corporate objective. In facing the challenges of globalization of companies or businesses, government and academia need to develop national workforce such as improving the quality of curriculum, as well as effective training to support and improve the quality and motivation of human resources.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence logistics management has on the level of customer satisfaction at PT. Bhinneka Bajanas Cabang Cikarang. The population of this research is PT. Bhinneka Bajanas Cabang Cikarang customers as many as 100 people, while the sample in this study were 50 people using the Accident Sampling method, then the data was obtained by simple linear regression analysis. The independent variable in this study is logistical management and the dependent variable is customer’s satisfaction. The results of this study indicate that logistics management has an influence on customer satisfaction. It can be seen from the results of T test, the analysis’ results show the value of T count> T table (6.327> 2.01). It means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, or there is an effect (partially) between Logistics Management and Customer Satisfaction Levels.

Abstract

Work engagement is a positive view of an employee towards his work that is characterized by vigour, full involvement (dedication), and high concentration during work (absorption). This study aims to determine the description and causes of having employee engagement by exploring dimensions based on the definition of work engagement proposed by Schaufeli, Gonzalez, & Bakker (2002), vigour, dedication, absorption. The research was conducted through a literature study that is finding various related sources and making conclusions in accordance with the research objectives. The credibility test used is peer debriefing, namely asking other researchers who are not involved in the research project to help investigate the thinking of researchers in all or certain parts of the research process. The results showed that the most dominant dimension of work engagement was dedication

Abstract

The advancement of e-commerce marketplace applications has made small and medium entrepreneurs (SMEs) in the e-commerce sector, grow rapidly in the current Era Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era. With limited capital, SMEs businesses must compete by increasing the inventory of various merchandise and large stocks, thus requiring an increase in warehouse capacity to become larger. There is a phenomenon related to the need for large warehouses and inventory for merchandise products of SMEs in the e-commerce sector, to e-commerce marketplace applications that have a virtual warehouse concept.The purpose of this study was to determine the concept of virtual warehouses, inventory management in virtual warehouses and the advantages of virtual warehouses, for SMEs in the E-commerce sector in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Informants in this study were determined purposively.The Virtual Warehouse is a virtual storage place to accommodate and store inventory data, it’s a product of a digital application system program that functions to accommodate, storage, and record inventory data stock. In the e-commerce marketplace application, the warehouse facility feature is provided virtually by the application system. It’s implementation greatly reduces costs and is very efficient compared to conventional physical warehouses. With mobile device or computer that can operating online and within internet signal range, operating of virtual warehouse can be carried out anytime and anywhere
