Abstract

Smaller size business tends to record their business transaction improperly. The absence of a correct financial statement may affect the decision-making of business owners and the company's future. Asak Salon is a service business without a systemized accounting recording system. This research aims to design an accounting recording and financial reporting system for Asak Salon with Microsoft Access. Primary data collection was by observation and interview. The output of the research is an accounting recording system to input transactions and produce financial statements for the business. The system can assist the business owner in recording transactions and generating financial statements to show business performance in the period. The business owner may use the financial statement as a basis in decision-making for business development in the future.

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises are classified as economic entities that are vulnerable to the effects of uncertainty. The main thing that underlies the previous statement is the lack of role of accounting in managing the business. Bakso Cak Tello as a partner for community service is a business that has not yet implemented accounting aspects. Partners keep no records at all making it difficult to reliably observe the economic status of the business. This project has the goal of providing an integrated accounting recording system using Microsoft Access software. This system is designed using primary and secondary data obtained through interviews, observations, literature studies, and documentation from partners. The system is designed in such a way as to be able to facilitate the needs of partners starting from recording transactions, and computing, to financial reports according to an effective and efficient manner referring to related standards, namely the SAK EMKM. The result of this project shows that the designed system is able to accommodate partners to see every transaction that has been recorded and can be a basis for consideration for partners to develop business. Partners can take advantage of available financial reports to analyse business conditions. The next project can use other software that is considered suitable, effective, and efficient for partners or by adding other features. Abstract

Mama Kitchen is a business in the form of food stand that sells various kinds of food. Until now, Mama Kitchen does not have an accounting system. Mama Kitchen are still using manual recording methods. The purpose of this work is to make accounting records easier for the owner. The research was done by interviewing the owner and employees, and direct survey to location in order to know clearly about their daily activities. System will be designed according to Mama Kitchen’s needs. The result of implementation of this research is an accounting system that can produce financial reports. By having a system, owner can easily see the business profits accurately and ease owners in making decision about their business.

Abstract

Center Laundry uses manual records and has never used a systematic accounting recording system to record every transaction. Manual recording carried out by the Center Laundry makes it difficult for the owner to be aware of his financial condition because of the lack of accuracy in using manual records. Therefore, a solution for Center Laundry is to make an accounting recording system through Microsoft Access. The purpose is to assist the owner in running and managing finances. The target of these practical activities is to assist the Center Laundry in designing a financial recording system to make it easier for the owner to monitor the company's finances and be the owner in making decisions. This system will provide recording forms for cash disbursement transactions, purchases, sales, and record inventory. Abstract

NaLiang Club is a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) in Batam which is engaged in the nutrition club and nutritional drinks. NaLiang Club still uses a manual accounting recording system, using Microsoft Excel. NaLiang Club is not capable to produce financial reports, so they did not know the actual profit that they had been generated. A survey and interview were conducted by the author to design a Microsoft Access-based accounting recording system for NaLiang Club. Those methods were conducted to know the SME’s business process and needs. Eight forms and reports each was available in the designed system. Those forms consist of chart of account, inventory, supplier, customer, cash transaction form, purchase form, sales form, and adjustment journal form. While the reports consist of purchase report, sales report, inventory card, general ledger, trial balance, financial position statement, profit loss statement, and cash flow statement. The implementation of this system increases the SME’s effectiveness in recording their transactions. NaLiang Club able to input the transaction activity in real time and find the transaction data easily if needed someday.

Abstract

Penyebaran COVID-19 di Indonesia membuat seluruh lembaga pendidikan menerapkan sistem belajar jarak jauh. Pembelajaran jarak jauh yang dilakukan secara online mempunyai dampak dalam dunia pendidikan baik dari segi metode pembelajaran maupun dari segi penilaian. Hal tersebut menjadi tantangan bagi para guru maupun murid. Selama menjalani proses pembelajaran jarak jauh, banyak murid yang mengalami kesulitan, diantaranya yaitu akses internet yang kurang memadai dan pemahaman materi yang kurang maksimal. Metode belajar online ini akan terus berlanjut di tahun ajaran baru yang dimulai pertengahan Juli 2020 akibat dari meningkatnya kasus COVID-19 di Batam. Adanya pembelajaran sistem online menjadi salah satu tantangan tersendiri bagi pihak sekolah khususnya SMK Kolese Tiara Bangsa. Dimana kegiatan pembelajaran jarak jauh harus menggunakan berbagai sarana pembelajaran seperti aplikasi zoom, google classroom, youtube, maupun whatsapp. Namun tidak diimbangi dengan pelatihan khusus kepada para pendidik sehingga membuat pihak sekolah cukup kewalahan. Hal tersebut dapat membuat proses pembelajaran secara online menjadi kurang efektif. Tujuan dari proyek ini adalah untuk membuat bahan ajar berupa modul pratikum aplikasi MYOB Multi Currencies V25 (ABSS) pada perusahaan dagang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan mewawancarai pihak sekolah mengenai kegiatan proses belajar mengajar, studi dokumentasi terhadap kurikulum yang diterapkan serta silabus mata pelajaran. Bahan ajar yang dibuat diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai pedoman atau acuan dalam pembelajaran sehingga dapat mempermudah guru dan murid.

Abstract

Percetakan Nalial adalah Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah di Kota Batam yang bergerak di bidang percetakan. Jasa yang ditawarkan oleh Percetakan Nalial berupa cetak undangan, nota, stiker, kalender dan lain sebagainya. Pemilik Percetakan Nalial saat ini memiliki masalah terkait pencatatan keuangan pada usahanya. Selama usaha ini berdiri belum ada sistem pencatatan akuntansi yang jelas. Pencatatan transaksi keuangan pada usaha ini dilakukan dengan buku catatan manual yang mana pendapatan diakui dengan prinsip kas dan kerugian atau keuntungan yang diperoleh pada setiap periodenya hanya diperkirakan berdasarkan nota penjualan dan nota pembelian. Akibat daripada masalah tersebut, pemilik tidak dapat mengetahui kondisi keuangan usahanya dengan lebih akurat. Microsoft Access adalah software yang digunakan untuk merancang sistem pencatatan akuntansi dalam kerja praktik ini. Sistem pencatatan akuntansi dirancang sesuai dengan kebutuhan usaha dan dirancang sesederhana mungkin tetapi tetap sesuai dengan standart akuntansi yang berlaku agar pengguna lebih mudah dalam memahaminya. Proses perancangan dan implementasi yang dilaksanakan mulai dari bulan Oktober 2020 sampai dengan Januari 2021 ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi untuk memperoleh segala informasi yang menjadi dasar dalam perancangan sistem. Pada akhir pelaksanaan kerja praktik, implementasi dilaksanakan di Percetakan Nalial. Pemilik usaha menginput transaksi yang terjadi selama 1 (satu) bulan terakhir untuk memastikan bahwa sistem yang sudah dibuat dapat berjalan dengan lancar. Transaksi yang sudah diinput akan menghasilkan luaran berupa laporan keuangan dan juga laporan tambahan seperti laporan penjualan, pembelian, sisa utang, sisa piutang dan laporan persediaan. Perbaikan juga dilakukan ketika terjadi error pada sistem agar sistem dapat bekerja lebih baik dan memberikan manfaat lebih maksimal terhadap pihak internal

Abstract

Companies that have high company values tend to increase level of investor confidence in the progress and development of the company. Fluctuations in firm value in banking and insurance sector are the focus of the problem in this study. The objective of this study is to examine the moderating role of company size between gender on firm value on Indonesia Stock Exchange in banking and insurance sectors in 2018-2022. This method uses purposive sampling to collect data samples. There are 58 companies from the banking and insurance sectors as samples in this study. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods and outlier tests with SDR using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 as well as convergent validity tests, discriminant validity tests, collinearity model tests, structural model tests, and hypothesis testing using SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the study (1) firm value is significantly positively affected by gender diversity; (2) firm size does not play a role in moderating the relationship between gender diversity and firm value.
