Abstract

In face recognition there are two commonly used open-source libraries namely Dlib and OpenCV. Analysis of facial recognition algorithms is needed as reference for software developers who want to implement facial recognition features into an application program. From Dlib algorithm to be analyzed is CNN and HoG, from OpenCV algorithm is DNN and HAAR Cascades. These four algorithms are analyzed in terms of speed and accuracy. The same image dataset will be used to test, along with some actual images to get a more general analysis of how algorithm will appear in real life scenarios. The programming language used for face recognition algorithms is Python. The image dataset will come from LFW (Labeled Faces in the Wild), and AT&T, both of which are available and ready to be downloaded from the internet. Pictures of people around the UIB (Batam International University) is used for actual images dataset. HoG algorithm is fastest in speed test (0.011 seconds / image), but the accuracy rate is lower (FRR = 27.27%, FAR = 0%). DNN algorithm is the highest in level of accuracy (FRR = 11.69%, FAR = 2.6%) but the lowest speed (0.119 seconds / picture). There is no best algorithm, each algorithm has advantages and disadvantages.Keywords: Python, Face Recognition, Analysis, Speed, Accuracy.

Abstract

Indonesian Government has developed technology-based information systems in their respective environments as an effort to realize public services that meet standards and achieve citizen service satisfaction, and in line with that as the government's efforts to digitize each business process in the government itself. Ministry of Religious Affairs of Batam that has developed this technology-based information system in implementing activities public services at Sekupang office, KUA, and integrated service places. This study aims to analyze the IT governance that has been applied at Ministry of Religious Affairs of Batam in providing public services. This study uses COBIT 5.0 to analyze IT governance in understanding and finding common ground between the needs of Batam citizen and the strategic plan of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Batam, as well as how to evaluate and monitor IT governance in the actual conditions. This study uses two domains: Plan and Organize (PO) and Monitor and Evaluate (ME), based on the results of questionnaire data processing with 106 respondents, and the average value of the PO domain 3.8 and ME domain 3.9 shows that IT governance is at the Defined Process level. . Found two IT processes with a value of less than 3, namely PO8.1 and PO9.1, it is necessary to recommend improvements to quality management and risk management.

Abstract

Technology has been proliferating and it has been creating a new term in the world of technology. One of the new terms that have emerged along with technological development is The Fourth Industrial Revolution. In line with the revolution, this research has a purpose of creating a smart manufacturing concept that involves several components such as software, machines, and certain tools such as RFID. This research will be designed and developed using software development method in the form of a waterfall method and this research will use C# programming language released by American multinational technology company, which is Microsoft to create the software. This research will be assisted by several hardware devices such as RFID Reader that will serve as a tool that will read information stored in RFID Tag and RFID Tag that will be used to store information needed by system. The output of this research is a software that is capable of automating voltage adjustment of electroplating machine, monitor the voltage and ampere of the machine, and able to aid users on the electroplating process

Abstract

Good project management is a crucial factor for the smooth implementation of projects in an application development organization. Management activities carried out manually have the potential to result in errors in data processing, and it is difficult to monitor project progress, which often results in time and financial losses. This research was conducted to overcome this problem by building a project management system based on the Scrum method using the Laravel framework and applying a multiple linear regression algorithm in estimating time for each project activity with parameters of the number of people involved and the type of work, as well as competency mapping on the recommendations in the human resource allocations. The Scrum method is used because of its flexibility and fast adaptability to the system development process. The result of this research is a software development project management system that helps organizations in allocating human resources and time management. The resulting multiple linear regression model obtains a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 349.97. Descriptive analysis conducted on user responses stated that user responses were positive towards the use of the project management system.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to build a face recognition system, and implement it into an RPA (Robotic Process Automation) software to expand automation capabilities. The system is built using the Python programming language. The face recognition algorithm that is used is an open-source library that has been pre-trained and developed beforehand along with a library called OpenCV. The client side of the system is desktop based, and requires a stable internet connection. Users of the system are able to register faces into the system, and then later detect and extract information from them using only images of faces with an average speed of 500 ms for every frame, with an accuracy of ~98% with tolerance set at the default value of 0.6. The system is also capable of automatically registering any new faces that it encounters.

Abstract

Since March 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in line with Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Merdeka, higher education institutions have conducted distance learning in asynchronous and synchronous modes, such as video meetings using Microsoft Teams and provide e-learning. In order to reach the goals and strategies of the higher education institutions, universities implement several control objectives within the COBIT 5 framework, so they can use and manage resources efficiently, provide the best education for students. This study aims to analyze the acceptance level of the COBIT implementation in higher education institutions by using the UTAUT model in E-Learning management, the use of Microsoft Teams and distance learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal explanatory research design. Dissemination of the survey was conducted by simple random sampling at 6 (six) universities in Batam City. This study reveals that E-Learning management, the use of Microsoft Teams, and the application of distance learning together have a significant influence on the implementation of COBIT with an acceptance index of 85.5%, which refers to the satisfying category.

Abstract

Pembelajaran dengan tambahan e-Learning lebih dikenal dengan nama Blended Learning. Pembelajaran ini dilakukan dengan mengkombinasikan perkuliahan reguler dengan perkuliahan secara online. Pembelajaran Blended Learning di perguruan tinggi, dikombinasikan dengan kebutuhan sertifikasi dari industri sehingga diharapkan dapat menunjang kompetensi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang analisis pengaruh Blended Learning dan sertifikasi terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah memberikan masukan yang komprehensif terhadap perguruan tinggi mengenai peningkatan kompetensi mahasiswa dengan dukungan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai. Metode yang akan dipakai adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif survei terhadap mahasiswa perguruan tinggi di Provinsi Kepulauan Riau; dibarengi dengan melakukan studi pustaka terhadap Aplikasi Pembelajaran Blended Learning dan sertifikasi dalam hubungannya dengan kompetensi mahasiswa. Manfaat utama dari penelitian ini adalah dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi manajemen perguruan tinggi dalam kaitannya dengan pengembangan sumber daya manusia, khususnya di Kepulauan Riau, sebagai provinsi terluar dari negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia, agar tercapai kompetensi yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa Blended Learning dan Sertifikasi secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap variabel Kompetensi.

Abstract

Technology has become a major part in all areas of life, covering the lives of individuals and communities. Especially in the city of Batam, as an industrial city ranging from the electronics industry to shipyards. In Batam city, there are 129 electronics component industry companies. Technological developments continue to change, therefore electronics component industry companies always adopt the latest technology to support business processes. The choice of technology has become part of a competitive strategy that can keep the company sustain. In the selection of this technology, there are four important variables can be utilized by the company in a manner, they are: innovation, research and development, technology resources, technology exploitation and investment. As the results of the study, these four variables significantly influence 66.9% of competitive strategy in a number of electronics companies in the city of Batam.

Abstract

Penilaian hasil belajar siswa merupakan salah satu proses yang wajib ada pada lembaga pendidikan, baik itu lembaga pendidikan formal ataupun non-formal dengan tujuan untuk memantau dan mengevaluasi perkembangan siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin maju, tentunya ada banyak proses yang dapat diintegrasikan dengan teknologi informasi dengan tujuan untuk mempermudah proses yang telah ada, dan proses penilaian hasil belajar siswa bukanlah pengecualian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan kemudahan bagi guru dalam membuat keputusan terhadap hasil proses penilaian hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan beberapa atribut yang telah ditentukan. Atribut yang digunakan sebagai bahan acuan pertimbangan yaitu tugas, UTS dan UAS. Dengan begitu penelitian ini dibuat dengan menggunakan framework Laravel dan bahasa pemrograman PHP serta metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) yang merupakan salah satu metode pendukung keputusan untuk membantu penyelesaian permasalahan yang kompleks. Luaran dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi yang mampu menunjang keputusan penilaian hasil belajar siswa dalam bentuk peringkat siswa, dan memberikan transparansi serta kemudahan bagi siswa untuk mengakses nilai ataupun hasil akhir dari proses penilaian hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Saat masa pandemi ini tidak ada satu pun bidang yang tidak mengalami kendala oleh dampak pandemic Covid-19, aktivitas kita menjadi sangat terbatas dan sulit untuk melakukan aktivitas normal seperti biasanya. Hal yang sama juga dirasakan oleh warga Cluster Gelatik Raya yang mengalami kesulitan dan terbatas untuk melakukan pengurusan kepentingan surat yang di keluarkan oleh pejabat RT/RW. Metode yang di gunakan pada artikel ini yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan secara observasi lapangan, serta wawancara kepada pejabat RT/RW Cluster Gelatik Raya. Perihal yang akan dilaksanakan penulis dan mitra (Cluster Gelatik Raya) yaitu merancang sistem pelayanan berbasis website. Tujuan rancangan sistem tersebut untuk membantu mitra dalam mengatasi permasalahannya. Sehingga rancangan sistem tersebut diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi warga Cluster Gelatik Raya dan warga dapat melakukan pengembangan lebih lanjut sehingga menjadikan pelayanan publik secara cepat, efisien, dan inovatif menjadi lebih puas dengan pelayanan yang ada.
