Abstract

Basis utama bagi munculnya kreativitas adalah penggunaan pengetahuan yang telah ada secara imaginatif (kreatif) untuk menghasilkan suatu produk yang baru, tak biasa, dan bermanfaat. Penafsiran suatu masalah dengan cara yang baru dan berbeda (restructuring) dan inkubasi merupakan dasar tambahan bagi munculnya kreativitas. Upaya peningkatan kreativitas dapat dilakukan guru melalui penerapan strategi brainstorming dan model synectics.Kata kunci: kreativitas, basis kreativitas, brainstorming, model synectics

Abstract

This This study aims to describe the level of students’ thinking profilein solving parabolic motion problems based on the SOLO taxonomy seen from learning outcomes and gender. This is a survey research without a comparison group. Data collection was done by giving 4 questions to 95class X MIA students at SMAN 1 Sungai Raya, and categorized based on learning outcomes (high, medium, low) and gender (male, female). The level ofstudents’ thinking profile in solving parabolic motion problems based on SOLO taxonomyis 50.52% at the pre-structural level, 11.57% at the uni-structural level, 21.05% at the multi-structural level, 16.84% at relational level , and0% at extended-abstract level. Additionally, students with high learning outcomes reached the uni-structural-relational thinking level, while moderate ones reached the uni-structural-multi-structural level, and low ones reached the uni-structural-pre-structural level. In terms of gender,female students' average percentage of thinking level is 44.2% higher than male students with only 33.6% of the ideal score.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the Cooperative Problem Solving model in enhancing the problem solving skills of students of SMPN 3 Sungai Raya in the pressure of solids. The research forms used was quasy experimental design with pretest-posttest control group design. The sample was students VIII G as an experimental class and VIII E was the control class which drawn by using intact group. The instrument used 5 essay questions. The result showed that there was no difference in the student problem solving skills of the control class and experimental classes before being given the implementation of Cooperative Problem Solving model and conventional learning (. There was difference in the student problem solving skills of the control class and experimental classes after being given the implementation of Cooperative Problem Solving model and conventional learning (. Implementation of Cooperative Problem Solving model effective to improve the student problem solving skills with effect size 1,89 (high category).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi siswa pada materi kalor dan perpindahannya di kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Sungai Kakap. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Sungai Kakap yang terdiri dari 30 siswa dari 119 target populasi yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling (acak). Alat pengumpul data berupa Tes diagnostik 10 soal pilihan ganda dengan 3 alternatif jawaban disertai alasan terbuka. Dari enam konsep yang diungkap miskonsepsinya, soal nomor 1,2,3,4,7,8,9 dan 10 mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 100%. kecuali untuk konsep soal nomor 5 tentang pengaruh kalor jenis terhadap kalor siswa mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 83% dan untuk soal nomor 6 tentang menjelaskan peristiwa Asas Black siswa mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 97%. Ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan proporsi miskonsepsi antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan pada materi kalor dan perpindahannya.

Abstract

Salah satu kemampuan yang fundamental untuk dimiliki di abad 21 yaitu kemampuan untuk berpikir kritis. Namun, data dari penilaian internasional mengindikasikan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik Indonesia dalam bidang fisika masih belum optimal. Untuk itu diperlukan adanya analisis lebih lanjut terkait dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada topik fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada topik fluida dinamis. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan menerapkan teknik simple random sampling dalam pemilihan sampel. 54 orang peserta didik SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak di kelas XI IPA dilibatkan sebagai sampel untuk penelitian ini. Perolehan data penelitain dilakukan dengan menerapkan teknik pengukuran berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis pada topik fluida dinamis. Tiga soal esai termuat pada tes penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada topik fluida dinamis masih tergolong rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran direct instruction berbantuan virtual laboratory terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dan retensinya pada materi gerak parabola di SMA Negeri 1 Paloh. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental design dengan rancangan One Group Pretest Posttest yang sudah dimodifikasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh dengan menjadikan semua peserta didik kelas XI IPA sebagai sampel. Tes dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 15 butir yang terdiri dari 12 butir soal pilihan ganda dan 3 butir soal uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan model pembelajaran direct instruction berbantuan virtual laboratory. Selain itu, tingkat retensi peserta didik secara individual memperoleh nilai persentase retensi yang paling rendah yaitu 73% dengan kategori retensi tinggi, kemudian untuk persentase retensi yang paling tinggi yaitu 122% dengan kategori retensi sangat tinggi. Sedangkan persentase retensi peserta didik secara klasikal sebesar 96% dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran direct instruction berbantuan virtual laboratory berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dan retensinya pada materi gerak parabola di SMA Negeri 1 Paloh.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of parenting styles self regulated  and mathematics learning outcomes for grade IV students at Suster Singkawang Elementary School. The research was carried out using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were fourth grade students at SD Suster Singkawang with a sample of 92 students. The data collection tools used were questionnaires to determine parenting patterns and learning independence, as well as mathematics learning achievement tests. Data analysis was carried out by testing the effect using analysis of variance. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, authoritarian and democratic parenting styles do not have an influence on self regulated because the significance value obtained is more than 5%, while permissive parenting styles have an influence on self regulated with a sig value of <5%. Meanwhile, authoritarian, democratic and permissive parenting styles have a positive influence on students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the Islamic Religious Movement (Gerlis) Program can strengthen the character of students at SDN 01 Benua Kayong, Ketapang Regency. By using descriptive qualitative research using a naturalistic approach, the research setting is taken from real conditions. Data collection is done by observing research subjects and objects, conducting interviews and taking the necessary documentation. The research results revealed that the Gerlis program in strengthening student character was implemented through a series of routine activities such as; Morning prayer together in the school yard, the habit of praying before and after learning in class, the creation of a reward corner in class, the reading of Asmaul Husna/Yasin/short Surahs and the habit of donating every Friday morning, the implementation of TPA every after school for grade 1 students and 2, implementation of midday prayers in congregation for students in grades 3 and 4, implementation of midday prayers in congregation, familiarization with 5S (smile, greeting, greeting, politeness), and celebration of Islamic holidays. The conclusion of the research results is that activities to strengthen student character through the Gerlis program include three pathways, first, class-based by integrating KOSP into PABP learning activities, both intra-curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular. Second, based on school culture by cultivating practices that strengthen religious values through scheduled activities. And third, community-based, involving religious institutions to collaborate in supporting the strengthening of student character.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of parental attention and motivation on the mathematics learning achievement of grade IV students at SD Suster Pontianak. The research was carried out using a quantitative approach, in the form of a comparative study. The population in this study was 105 grade IV students at Suster Singkawang Elementary School with a sample of 32 students. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire to determine parental attention and motivation, as well as report cards for mathematics subjects. Based on data analysis, it was found that parental attention received a score with an average of 77.4 in the medium category, parental motivation received an average score of 64.2 in the medium category and student learning achievement with an average of 79.3 in the medium category; parental attention and parental motivation partially influence the learning achievement of fourth grade students at the Pontianak Sisters Private Elementary School; and parental attention and parental motivation simultaneously influence the learning achievement of fourth grade students at the Pontianak Sister Private Elementary School as proven by the results of ANOVA analysis with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. It can be concluded that parental attention and motivation have an influence on the mathematics learning achievement of grade IV students at Suster Pontianak Elementary School.
