Abstract

Upwelling is a natural phenomenon related with the increase in water mass that also occurs in Maninjau Lake, West Sumatra. The upwelling phenomenon resulted in considerable losses for freshwater fish farming because make mass mortalities of fish in farming using the method of floating net cages (karamba jaring apung/KJA). It takes a system that can predict the possibility of upwelling as an early warning to the community, especially fish farming to immediately prepare early anticipation of upwelling prevention. With historical water quality monitoring data at six sites in Maninjau Lake for 17 years, a prediction model can be made. There are three input criteria for Tsukamoto FIS that is water temperature, pH, and dissolve oxygen (DO). The model is built with fuzzy logic integration with the genetic algorithm to optimize the membership function boundaries of input and output criteria. After the optimization, hybrid Tsukamoto FIS and genetic algorithm successfully make a correct upwelling prediction on of 16 data with 94% accuracy.

Abstract

Stroke, in 2014 to mid-2015 is the first cause of death in Indonesia. The condition of stroke patients whose movements are limited is exacerbated by the psychic condition of patients who are unable to communicate pressure will cause obstacles to the healing process of the patient. This research is designed based on the five planes of user experience which are divided into five areas: strategy, scope, structure, skeleton, and surface. This communication board is operated using the patient's fingers so that it is comfortable for everyday activities. The result of Mobile Finger Communication Board implementation shows that application usability level seen from perception and ergonomic point of view shows satisfaction index of the user at the satisfactory level so that it can be said that the system works with the satisfactory result of the users. It is expected that with the Mobile Finger Communication Board which will be used daily to support the healing process of stroke so that the healing rate of stroke is increasing.

Abstract

Graphology is one of the psychology disciplines which aims to study the personality traits of individuals through interpretation of handwriting. We can get information of one’s personality through graphology. In addition, by using android based mobile device, graphology analysis could show one’s personality faster. This study was conducted by taking 42 samples of handwriting from different backgrounds. The feature used in this study was handwriting margin. Besides, Support Vector Machine method was employed to classify the result feature from extraction process. The result of this study showed the accurate average of the application reached 82.738%.

Abstract

Abstract

This study reviews techniques and algorithm models often used in the analysis of educational data mining. The review in this study is based on previous studies to provide researchers knowledge about trends and challenges analysis Educational data mining in game design meaningful. However, there is a lot of games design developed without analysis Educational data mining which then will not answer the student problem. The analysis needed periodic data and developing the game required actual student conditions, this is a combination inseparable. Determine Research questions, Search Terms, and filtering for the selection and analysis of the article review. There are some student problems on analysis review, namely prediction student performance, student behavior, student at-riks, and student dropout. The number of Articles in the study was 33 with 21 Articles of research and 12 of Article review. The number of studies 8 with percent 38% used techniques Confusion matric with 33% percent used algorithms Decision Tree in 7 of studies. The section in this study consists of techniques evaluation, model selection, outcome, subject, and algorithm method. Which are recommended techniques and algorithms for analysis Educational data mining and in ideal game design to further research.

Abstract

In this paper, the development of Android-based Indonesian Text-to-Speech (TTS) utilizing API Google for English TTS as a data voice has been proposed. Using this approach, a lightweight and mobile Indonesian TTS application can be realized. The utilization of English data voice is carried out by cutting off (hyphenate) Indonesian words into syllables using Finite State Automata method, then searching for equivalent syllables in English which have similar pronunciation. Using FSA method, this system is able to hyphenate all Indonesian words up to 95.19%. This application has Mean Opinion Score (MOS) value of understanding the words criteria of 3.31 and MOS value of smoothness pronunciation criteria of 3.46 (in a scale of 5).
