Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis penemuan terbimbing pada materi bangun ruang yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah research & development dengan mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE meliputi 5 tahap, yaitu: tahap analisis (analysis), tahap desain (design), tahap pengembangan (development), tahap implementasi (implementation), dan tahap evaluasi (evaluation). Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII.D SMPN 1 Sungguminasa kabupaten Gowa berjumlah 35 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi LKPD, lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan LKPD, angket respons siswa dan angket respons guru, lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa, lembar pengamatan pengelolaan pembelajaran menggunakan LKPD dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) hasil validasi dari para ahli menyatakan bahwa nilai rata-rata seluruh komponen kelayakan lembar kerja peserta didik sebesar 3,1 dengan kategori valid; 2) rata-rata untuk seluruh aspek pengamatan keterlaksanaan lembar kerja peserta didik sebesar 1,24 dengan kategori terlaksana sebagian dan rata-rata persentase seluruh aspek angket respons peserta didik sebesar 71,85% dengan kategori positif dan angket respons guru sebesar 83,89% dengan kategori positif sehingga dikategorikan praktis; dan 3) rata-rata persentase aktivitas peserta didik untuk keseluruhan pertemuan pembelajaran sebesar 64,80% berada dalam kategori aktivitas baik dan aktivitas guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran sebesar 3,76 dengan kategori baik serta tes hasil belajar matematika diperoleh bahwa terdapat 25 peserta didik (71,43%) dari 35 orang telah memperoleh nilai minimal 75 sehingga dikategorikan efektif. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis penemuan terbimbing pada materi bangun ruang pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Sungguminasa kabupaten Gowa memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. AbstractThe purpose of this research is to develop worksheet based on guided discovery on the solid figure material for class VIII students of SMPN 1 Sungguminasa Gowa regency is valid, practical, and effective. The type of research is research & development with reference to the ADDIE development model which includes 5 stages, namely: the analysis phase, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII.D SMPN 1 Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa numbered 35 people. The instruments consisted of the worksheet validation sheet, the worksheet practicum observation sheet, the student and teacher response questionnaires, the student and teacher activity observation sheet, and the students' mathematics learning outcomes test. The research results show that 1) the validation results from the experts stated that the average value of all components of worksheet eligibility was 3.1 with a valid category, (2) the average for all aspects of observing the worksheet's implementation was 1.24 with a partially implemented category and the average percentage of all aspects of student questionnaire responses was 71.85% in a positive category and the teacher's questionnaire response was 83.89% in a positive category so it is categorized as practical, (3) the average percentage of student activity for the whole learning meeting was 64.80% are in good category and the activities of teachers in managing the learning amounted to 3.76 in good category and the result of mathematics learning outcomes obtained that there are 25 students (71.43%) out of 35 students have achieved a minimum score of 75. So, it can be concluded that the worksheet based on guided discovery in solid figure material for eighth-grade students of SMPN 1 Sungguminasa Gowa regency has met the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis konstruktivisme pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri atas 5 tahap sesuai namanya yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Penelitian ini dibatasi hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan dan tahap implementasi yang hanya mengukur kevalidan dan tingkat kepraktisan bahan ajar menggunakan lembar validasi dan angket respons guru, tahap selanjutnya tidak dapat dilaksanakan disebabkan adanya pandemi Covid-19 yang mengharuskan peserta didik di rumahkan. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi dan angket respons guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh bahwa (1) hasil validasi untuk bahan ajar dan RPP adalah 4 dan 4,2 yang berada pada interval 3 ≤ M ≤ 4,5 sehingga dikategorikan valid. (2) Praktis, tahap ini hanya menggunakan angket respons guru. Keseluruhan aspek berada pada kategori sangat positif dengan persentase 85% sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis konstruktivisme pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa memenuhi kriteria kevalidan dan kepraktisan. AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the process of developing teaching material based on constructivism on linear equation system with two variables in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa. The type of research is research and development (R&D) by referring to the ADDIE development model which consist of 5 stages as the name implies, namely, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research is limited to the development stage and the implementation stage which only measures the validity and practicality of teaching material using validation sheets and teacher response questionnaire, the next stage cannot be carried out due to covid-19 pandemic that requires learners to be sent home. The instruments used in this study were the validation sheet and the teacher response questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it was found that (1) the validation results for teaching material and lesson plan were 4 and 4.2 which were at intervals of 3 ≤ M ≤ 4.5 so that it is in valid category, (2) practice, this stage only uses teacher response questionnaire. All aspects in the very positive category with a percentage of 85%. So, it can be concluded that teaching material based on constructivism on the linear equation system with two variables for class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa meet the validity and practicality criteria.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan perbedaan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Topical Review (TR) dan yang diajar dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Jeopardy Review (JR) pada kelas X SMAN 16 Makassar. Pendekatan penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MIA SMAN 16 Makassar. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep peserta didik berupa tes dengan menggunakan soal essay sebanyak 5 nomor untuk pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan uji-t. Dari hasil analisis inferensial diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,614 yang lebih besar dari dari pada α sebesar 0,05 (sig. > α). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Topical Review dan yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Jeopardy Review di kelas X SMAN 16 Makassar.  AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the differences in understanding the mathematical concepts of students who were taught using the Topical Review (TR) type of active learning strategy and those taught using the Jeopardy Review (JR) type of active learning strategy in class X SMAN 16 Makassar. This research approach is a quantitative approach. This type of research is Quasi-Experimental with the research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study was all students of class X MIA SMAN 16 Makassar. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique. The instrument used to determine students' understanding of the concept was a test using 5 numbers essay questions for the pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis with t-test. From the inferential analysis results obtained a significant value of 0.614 which is greater than α of 0.05 (sig.> Α). Thus it can be concluded that there is no difference in understanding the mathematical concepts of students who are taught with the Topical Review type active learning strategy and those taught with the Jeopardy Review type active learning strategy in class X SMAN 16 Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengembangan modul pembelajaran matematika pada materi perbandingan berbasis contextual teaching learning (CTL) kelas VII. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis contextual teaching learning (CTL) yang valid di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Bontonompo Selatan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau research & development dengan mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu meliputi tahap analiysis (analisis), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), implementation (penerapan), evaluation (evaluasi). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil validasi modul adalah 4,3 yang berarti modul berada pada ketegori sangat valid, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul matematika materi perbandingan berbasis contextual teaching learning (CTL) untuk kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Bontonompo Selatan Kabupaten Gowa telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan sebuah instrumen tes diagnostik untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang berbentuk pilihan ganda dua tingkat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research & Development (R & D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Tessmer yang dikenal dengan tipe formatif evaluation. Pengembangan Tessmer terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu preliminary, self evaluation, tahap prototyping (expert reviews, one-to-one dan small group) dan field test.Angket respon siswa pada instrumen tes diagnostik pilihan ganda dua tingkat memenuhi kriteria tercapai dan tidak ada perbaikan/revisi terhadap instrumen tes yang akan dikembangkan karena lebih dari 50% siswa yang memberikan respon positif. Dari hasil angket respon siswa dapat diketahui bahwa produk instrumen tes diagnostik ini dapat dikatakan praktis untuk digunakan. Hasil data tes diagnostik pilihan ganda dua tingkat untuk mengidentifikasi pemahaman konsep siswa, dapat diketahui bahwa jumlah siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori paham konsep 58,95%, persentase siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 12,63% dan persentase siswa yang tidak paham konsep sebesar 28,25%. Berdasarkan hasil pekerjaan siswa dalam menjawab tes diagnostik pilihan ganda dua tingkat dapat dikatakan bahwa produk instrumen tes ini cukup efektif dalam mengidentifikasi tingkat pemahaman konsep matematika siswa.Abstract:The study is aimed at producing a diagnostic test instrument to identify the level of understanding of mathematical concepts of students in the form of two-level multiple choice. This research is a Research & Development (R & D) by using Tessmer development model known as formative type evaluation. The development of Tessmer consists of four stages: introduction, self-evaluation, prototyping (expert review, one-to-one and small group) and field testing. Questionnaire responses of students on the two-level multiple choice diagnostic test instrument meet the achieved criteria and no improvement/revision of the test instrument to be developed as more than 50% of the students responded positively. From the questionnaire results of students’ response, it can be identified that the product of diagnostic test instrument can be said to be practical to use. The results of the two-level multiple choice diagnostic test instrument data to identify students' concept of understanding can be observed that the students who understand the concept, those who experienced misconceptions, and who do not understand the concept are 58.95%, 12.63%, and 28.25% respectively. Based on the results of the students’ work in answering the two-level multiple choice diagnostic test, it can be said that the test instrument product is quite effective in identifying the level of understanding of students' mathematical concepts.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan sebuah instrumen tes diagnostik untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang berbentuk uraian. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Plomp yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu: (1) tahap pengkajian awal (preliminary investigation phase), (2) tahap perancangan (desaian phase), (3) tahap realisasi/konstruksi (realization/construction phase), dan (4) tahap tes, evaluasi dan revisi (test, evaluation and revision phase). Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MAN 1 Makassar yang berjumlah 38 orang siswa. Hasil uji coba yang dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa instrumen tes diagnostik berbentuk uraian ini sudah dikatakan valid karena hasil CVR yang diperoleh adalah 1 dan telah memenuhi kriteria yaitu ≥0,99 dan hasil CVI yang diperoleh adalah 1 dengan kategori sangat sesuai atau berada pada kisaran 0,68-1,00. Hasil uji reliabilitas yang diperoleh adalah 0,75 dengan kategori tinggi dan berada pada kisaran 0,60<r11<0,80. Instrumen tes diagnostik berbentuk uraian memiliki tingkat kesukaran dengan hasil rata-rata 0,56 dengan kategori sedang yaitu berada pada kisaran 0,31-0,70. Instrumen tes diagnostik berbentuk uraian memiliki daya pembeda dengan rata-rata 0,34 dengan kategori cukup dan berada pada kisaran 0,20Dp0,40. Hasil data tes diagnostik berbentuk uraian untuk mengidentifikasi pemahaman konsep siswa, dapat diketahui bahwa jumlah siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori paham konsep 29,74%, persentase siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 32,11% dan persentase siswa yang tidak paham konsep sebesar 38,16%. ABSTRACT This study aims to produce a diagnostic test instrument to identify the level of understanding of students' mathematical concepts in the form of descriptions. The type of research used is Research and Development (R & D). The development model used is the Plomp model which consists of 4 stages, namely: (1) the initial assessment phase (preliminary investigation phase), (2) the design stage (desaian phase), (3) the realization phase / construction phase, and (4) the stages of testing, evaluation and revision (test, evaluation and revision phase). The subjects of the trial in this study were the eleventh grade students of MAN 1 Makassar, which amounted to 38 students. The results of the trial conducted, it was found that the diagnostic test instrument in the form of this description was said to be valid because the CVR results obtained were 1 and had met the criteria of ≥0.99 and the CVI results obtained were 1 with a very appropriate category or in the range 0, 68-1.00. The reliability test results obtained are 0.75 with a high category and are in the range of 0.60 <r11 <0.80. The diagnostic test instrument in the form of description has a level of difficulty with an average result of 0.56 with a moderate category which is in the range of 0.31-0.70. The diagnostic test instrument in the form of description has a differentiating power with an average of 0.34 with sufficient categories and in the range of 0.20 <Dp0.40. The results of diagnostic test data in the form of a description to identify students' conceptual understanding, it can be seen that the number of students included in the conceptual understanding category is 29.74%, the percentage of students who experience misconceptions is 32.11% and the percentage of students who do not understand the concept is 38.16% .

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan media komik berbasis pendekatan saintifik yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Research and Development yang mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba terbatas yang dilakukan pada kelas V SDN 250 Bulu Kabupaten Soppeng, diperoleh bahwa: (1) hasil validasi media komik adalah 4,01 pada kategori valid, (2) hasil kepraktisan media komik adalah 95% dan berada pada kategori sangat positif, dan (3) hasil keefektifan karena telah memenuhi tiga kriteria yaitu kemampuan guru saat mengelola pembelajaran 4,7 (kategori sangat baik), persentase aktivitas peserta didik 86,1% (kategori sangat baik) dan persentase ketuntasan belajar peserta didik berkategori tinggi serta mencapai ketuntasan klasikal yaitu 100%. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam tahap uji coba terbatas yang dilaksanakan, media komik berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada materi pengukuran telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Media komik berbasis pendekatan saintifik dapat digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar di sekolah dasar, tampilan yang menarik membuat aktivitas peserta didik semakin baik dan meningkatkan ketuntasan hasil belajar matematika.AbstractThis study aimed to investigate the level of validity, effectiveness, and practicality of the developing comic media based on the scientific approach. The method used was Research and Development with ADDIE model. Based on the results of the limited test conducted at the fifth-grade students of SDN 250 Bulu in Soppeng Regency, it was found that: (1) the validation result of comic media was 4.01 in the valid category, (2) the practicality result of comic media was 95% which was in the very positive category, and (3) the results of the effectiveness had fulfilled three criteria, namely the teacher’s ability to manage learning was 4.7 (very good category), students’ activities were 86.1% (very good category) and the students’ learning completeness was categorized high and achieving 100% of classical completeness. Therefore, it could be concluded that in the limited test stage, comic media based on the scientific approach to the measurement material had fulfilled the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Comic media based on the scientific approach can be used in the teaching and learning process in elementary schools because attractive media makes the students’ activities better and improves their mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of producing gamification teaching material products for limiting functions and class IX derivatives that met the feasibility criteria, namely valid, practical, and effective. This research is a development research using the ADDIE development model. The stages of the ADDIE development model consist of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Product feasibility assessment using validation sheet instruments, student response questionnaires and teacher response questionnaires, as well as learning outcome tests. The collected data were analyzed by qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results obtained are: (1) Valid, the average validation results for teaching materials, rpp, student and teacher response questionnaires and learning outcomes tests are 4.66 which are categorized as valid because they are in the range of 4≤V_a<5. (2) Practical, based on the teacher response questionnaire with an average result obtained of 91.66% and the student response questionnaire of 91.25% is in the range of 85% ≤R_G≤100% so that the teacher and student response questionnaire is categorized as very Positive. (3) Effective, the results of the student learning outcomes test analysis were obtained by 80% classically complete and were in the high category. Thus, it was concluded that the gamification teaching materials on the function limit materials and class XI derivatives met the criteria of valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability to understand mathematical concepts and to determine the inhibiting factors of street children in completing the ability test for understanding mathematical concepts in number operations material. This study uses a qualitative method by selecting several informants who are street children from the Adiyaksa Development Class. Data collection was done by giving the informant a concept understanding ability test, and interviews. The data were analyzed by being reduced, then presented and then drawing conclusions. The results of the study based on the test results of 5 student respondents, it was found that respondents coded 01 and 05 got a score of 100. These results indicate that the two students have understood the material for number operations well. However, the other three respondents, namely respondents coded 02 and 03 each with a test score of 60 and respondents coded 04 obtained a test result of 80. Based on the results of interviews with the three respondents, it was found that they had difficulty performing number operations on numbers big. The inhibiting factors for the ability to understand the concept of number operation material in street children in the Adiyaksa fostered class Makassar are 1) the unavailability of learning media in the form of counting aids, 2) the busyness of students as street children, namely helping their parents in earning a living, and 3) lack of schedule for math subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of the content of the mathematics textbook based on indicators in a scientific approach. This research is a descriptive study that describes or explains systematically the facts or characteristics of a particular population. The procedure in this study consisted of: (1) the preparation stage, by selecting the revised 2017 edition of the 2017 high school senior high school mathematics textbook, (2) conducting a literature study to find out how the quality of the mathematics textbook was based on a scientific approach, (3) drawing conclusions from the data obtained. has been obtained. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the quality of the mathematics textbooks is obtained in each chapter, namely in Chapter 1 as much as 60%, Chapter II as much as 70%, Chapter III as much as 50%, Chapter IV as much as 60%. As for the total number of chapters in textbooks based on a scientific approach as much as 60%. So it can be concluded that the quality of mathematics textbooks for class X 2013 curriculum based on the scientific approach is included in the sufficient category with the implementation of indicators in the scientific approach.
