Abstract

One of the reasons for the decline in rice production in Indonesia is that most of the paddy fields are already degraded, which is characterized by, among other things, low organic matter content. straw produced in rice cultivation is 7 tonnes / ha. However, the components of rice straw are mainly cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, and small amounts of protein which make the C / N value high. The methods used in this activity are in the form of counseling, demonstration plots / pilots of making rice straw compost, guidance and counseling, field applications or planting rice using compost, monitoring and field evaluation. The results of the community service that has been carried out in Karyasari Village, Rengas Dengklok District, Karawang Regency were carried out by 10 members and this research was carried out well and by monitoring to see how successful compost from agricultural waste was.

Abstract

A research to study the effect of Azotobacter sp., VAM, and nitrogen fertilizer on Azotobacter sp. density, root infections degree, and soil available N and P was conducted in green house of Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Padjadjaran at Jatinangor and Soil and Plant Laboratory of Balitsa at Lembang from December 1996 to June 1997 Result of the experiment showed that effect of increased of nitrogen fertilizer dosage on Azotobacter sp. density, soil available N-NO3 and P was depend on applied microbial inoculants. Effect of increased of nitrogen fertilizer dosage on root infections degree* soil available N-NH4 was not depend on applied microbial inoculants. Inoculations MVA was increased root infections degree of tomato, whatsoever nitrogen fertilzer dosage was applied

Abstract

Sulfitr is a secondary plant nutrients to make the amino acids cystine, cysteine and methionine and is part of biotin, thiamine, co-enzyme A and glutationin in plants. Suljur also Junctions as an activator, cofactor or regulator of enzymes and plays a role in plant physiological processes and the formation of chlorophyll. Plants take the sulfitr in the form of SO4 2 anion derived from organic matter, soil minerals and fertilizer. The use of high analysis fertilizer resulted in the emergence of sulfur deficiency symptoms in various agricultural areas. Therefore, the provision of fertilizer sulfitr or sulfitr fertilizer carrier needs to be done to correct it.

Abstract

Seed qualify is one that determines the productivity of soybean. Quality seeds obtained through a series of seed technology activities starting from seed production, seed processing, seed testing, certification of seeds to seed storage. Storage of seeds is one of the soy harvest handling of the whole technology is important to maintain seed quality. The main objective of seed storage is to maintain the viability of the seeds along as possible and to maintain the fsiologis quality of seeds during the period storage by inhibiting the deterioration speed of the seed. Factors that influence the viability of seeds during storage is divided into internal and external factors. Internal factors include genetic trait, the power to grow and Vigor, skin conditions and initial seed moisture content. External factors such as packaging of seeds, gas composition, temperature and humidity save space.

Abstract

Variety involve is one of fundamental issue which must be solved and integrated in development, especially development of area. Therefore, it is important to know elementary information concerning variety involve territorial water ecosystem biodiversity. Target of this research is to know the quality of environment seen from variety aspect involve territorial water biota especial river in Bekasi. Result of research indicate that situation of especial river in Bekasi namely Cikeas, Cileungsi, Kali Bekasi, and Tarum BdfSt at observation of February 2004 is as following (a) Variety index of phytoplankton highest in kali Bekasi while tarum bdrdtas control still under him (b). Variety index of zooplankton highest in Kali Bekasi (c) Index Variety of benthos highest in Cikeas value ofabove I. Pursuant to variety index of benthos, hence entire/all river perceived have pertained impure of weight except Cikeas

Abstract

To reach for the amount of adequate students to a lecturing process, UNISMA conduct assumed marketing strategy isn't it can improve the amount of new students. UNISMA conduct marketing mix (product, price, location, and promotion) in strategy marketing of him, but student respon to conducted by strategy and which factor is which most dominant in marketing not yet been mapped Target of this research is to know student segment, perception of student, and most dominant fator in conducted by marketing mix strategy. Result of research indicate that student of UNISMA most coming from circles of midle segment, marketing mix UNISMA was responded either by student, and from fourth of marketing mix, only price factor and most dominant product which motivate student candidate enter UNISMA.

Abstract

The forms of nitrogen can use by plant are nitrate and amonia, but in the world content of them are limited. Form of nitrogen which big content in the world is dinitrogen (N,), this form is not use by plant without transformation to be N03‘ or NH/ . To be use dinitrogen is needed action of fixing nitrogen microorganism or fertilizers fabrications. The nitrogen fixing proccss by microorganism was influenced by ecological factor, adequate of nutrition and energy, and genetic of microorganism it self. The ecological factor which influenced of nitrogen fixing by microorganism are N;. CO,, O,, RH, pH, temperature, and existing other microorganism. Energy and nutrition which needed by fixing microorganism are C-organic, Mo. Co, Fc, P, Ca. Na, and several of vitamins.

Abstract

Perluasan areal pertanian akibat dari pertambahan penduduk mengarah pada tanah-tanah marjinal termasuk tanah gambut baik pasang surut maupun pedalaman. Perkembangan pertanian pada lahan gambut menghadapi berbagai kendala yang berkaitan dengan sifat tanah gambut. Kendala tersebut berupa kendala fisik, kimia dan pengelolaan air. Secara umum lahan gambut mempunyai sifat fisik dan kimia yang tidak mendukung untuk pertumbuhan tanaman yang optimum. Untuk mengatasi masalah dan kendala yang terdapat pada lahan gambut dapat dilakukan berbagai upaya rehabilitasi. Upaya tersebut adalah pemberian bahan pembenah tanah (amelioran) seperti pupuk, tanah mineral, abu bakaran, dan kapur. Upaya lain adalah pengelolaan air yaitu drainase dan irigasi.
