Abstract

This study aims to explain the application of realistic mathematics education in addition and subtraction mathematics learning in class III of SDN 1 Sudimampir, one of the low motivation of students to learn mathematics addition and subtraction is caused by learning activities that are more teacher-centered, so students are less actively involved in the learning process and result in monotonous learning activities in the classroom. Based on the above problems, improvements can be made to increase motivation to learn mathematics using realistic mathematics education. population and sample in the study focused on class III students, the method used in this study was the experimental method. The data collection technique is to provide learning and working on the problem, then grouping values based on the results of student performance in working on mathematical questions, arranged based on group distribution data for more specific value distribution into the mean median mode and graphs in order to find out the results of applying realistic mathematical methods education is expected to increase students 'motivation to learn mathematics, from the study there was a significant increase in the mean score of students' scores in mathematics learning addition and subtraction, namely ± 67,57.

Abstract

Based on the results of preliminary observations made on learning the operating material count number, it was seen that the use of instructional media was less precise, so that students' activities and learning outcomes were not optimal, whereas, student learning activities and results that involved active roles of students could provide a more meaningful learning experience. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study was to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in the addition of chopped numbers through the use of dienes teaching aids in class 2 SDN 226 Arcamanik Endah Kec. Arcamanik. The research model used by researchers is based on Kurt Lewin's model in each cycle there are four stages, namely planning, implementing (action), observation and reflection. The method used is descriptive method. This means that after getting the data needed, the author analyzes the data by describing the findings of the data, discusses and draws conclusions. From the analysis of this study it can be seen that the students' mathematics learning outcomes in the sum of the number without the use of teaching aids obtain an average value 67.30 increased in cycle 1 after using dienes block props to be 77, 57 and after undergoing improvement in cycle 2 it increased again to 78.65.

Abstract

Application of Active Learning Strategies using Series Media Drawing to Improve Class III Students' Simple Writing Skills in Indonesian Language Learning. This is because the learning strategy is less effective, the media is inadequate, and students have not been able to pour ideas, opinions, or ideas into writing, lack of supporting media in the learning process, and during teacher learning less use of varied learning strategies so that students are less active and feeling bored, writing skills are very lacking.The purpose of this class action research is to find out the increase in student activity and simple writing skills through the application of active learning strategies with the series drawing media in class III SDN 031 Pelesiran. This type of research used classroom action research based on two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of the study was the third grade students of SDN 031 Pelesiran. Data collection techniques were test and non-test techniques. Data analysis through quantitative and qualitative techniques. The conclusion of the study is that active learning strategies with series drawing media can increase student activity and writing skills in writing simple essays.

Abstract

The research based on the fact at 104 Langensari-Senanggalih Elementary school, is found the problem is learning outcome is low in the natural science subject. Therefore, was research with the aim to improve students activity and learning outcome, with a formulation of the problem in research is how to improve students activity and learning outcome in natural science subject by using experiment method. The research used classroom action research which does to students in the fourth grade with a qualitative approach. Data in this research based on an interview, test, and documentation. The result shows that can increase student activity and learning outcome in a natural science subject. Student activity level in cycle 1 33,4% and in cycle II goes up to 75%. While the average score of students in science lessons also increased. In the first cycle, the average score of students is 69.5 or 50%, while in cycle II rose to 80.08 or 83.3%. From the data, it can be concluded that the use of experimental methods in science class IV lessons can improve student activity and learning outcomes. This research can become a recommendation for teachers,  that the experimental method can be used as an alternative to innovate learning in the classroom, especially to improve student learning outcome.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student motivation, activity, and learning achievement in learning changes in the appearance of the earth's surface and celestial bodies using the Demonstration method. The use of the Demonstration method is expected to increase student activity in the teaching and learning process so that in the teaching and learning process there is no saturation in teaching and learning activities. Thus, students will be involved physically, emotionally, and intellectually which in turn is expected to change the concept of objects taught by the teacher to be understood by students. This study uses action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four actions, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The target of this research is students in grade IV SDN 024 Coblong, Coblong Subdistrict, Bandung City with 38 students. Data obtained in the form of formative test results and observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of research and analysis found that student achievement has increased from the first cycle of action 1, namely 78.4%, action 2: 88.2%, action 3: 95.35%, action 4: 98.25%. The behavior is 1, which is 95%, action 2: 97.20%, action 3: 98.08%, and action 4: 99.50%.

Abstract

This action research was motivated by the existence of problems in early reading learning in elementary schools. Early reading learning is not creative. Students are only instructed to memorize letters, words, and sentences in reading books, so that when students read simple sentences in writing, students are unable to read smoothly. The study was conducted in class I 204 Cidadap Elementary School with a total of 23 students. The research objectives were to: (1) describe the initial reading activities in class I by using the EPA 5 model for students in Class I of SD Negeri 204 Cidadap; (2) to find out the initial reading ability using the EPA 5 model for students of Class I of SD Negeri 204 Cidadap. This research was conducted with Classroom Action Research (PTK) method in three cycles. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative way descriptively and quantitatively by searching for the average. Based on the research that has been done, the average value of students' initial reading activities in cycle I was 67.83, cycle II 72.17, and cycle III 76.52. Whereas reading ability in cycle I was 56.96, cycle II 69.13 and cycle III 80.00. It shows that the EPA 5 model can increase students' activities and abilities in learning to read early.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students reading skills through the application of the technique of composing words. This technique is a form of cooperative learning development that has characterized the developing activities thinking through discussion or group work. The subject of research is the grade 1 SDN 070 Pasirluyu, years 2017/2018 lesson. The research approach used is qualitative while the type of research that is a class act (CAR). Data analysis techniques using interactive model analysis technique consist of three components, namely the reductions of data, data and cereal drawdown conclusion. Based on a result of research that has been carried out can be concluded that crafting game techniques can improve the ability to read grade 1 SDN 070 Pasirluyu. It can be seen from the increase in the number of studying thoroughly in the percentage of the initial conditions that only 54% increased to 71% in cycle 1 and reach 92% the end of cycle 2. The total increase in the result of the study is of 46%  yield close to average at this stage of pre-cycle of 58 rose to 71 in cycle 1 and cycle 2 be 87 on. pre-cycle.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the change in the learning process from face-to-face in class to online learning due to the covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of online learning and  the difficulties faced by teachers and students as well as the teaching materials used during online learning. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. In this research, the subjects of the research were teachers and 4th grade  students from two schools. A sample of six students was taken from each school. The instrument used in this research was the interview sheet for teachers and students. Data analysis was done qualitatively, taken from the results of interviews. Based on the research, it was found that the teachers had made learning scenarios in such a way that students could still learn effectively. The main difficulties faced by teachers and students are due to the limited internet that students have with a percentage of 91.7% and the lack of interaction between teachers and students which causes less effective online learning. For teaching materials, the teacher has made their own teaching materials so that students can better understand the material being taught.

Abstract

This study aims in general to improve the quality of natural science learning in elementary schools, so that knowledge of the material in the science subject of learning is not only in the form of concepts or only theoretically, but can be understood by students correctly, and can be applied to everyday life.This form of research is a classroom action research with the implementation model that is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages of planning, conducting, observing, analyzing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were at SD Rancakasumba year lesson 2017/2018. Technique of data analysis using interactive model consisting of 3 component of analysis that is data reduction, data presentation and verification.The results of the study can be seen from all sides who achieve mastery learning, namely students achieve a value of ≥ 70 increases, from 26.1% at the beginning to 65.2% in cycle I. After the action in cycle II, it increases again to 87%, or increased by 22% of completeness in cycle I. It was reflected in the entire cycle that can be done which allows students to improve student learning abilities in grade IV students of SDS 347 Rancakasumba 2017/2018 Academic Year.

Abstract

The background of this research is that in the field there are still many teachers who do not pay attention to the potential of students to develop social skills and learning outcomes. STAD type cooperative learning model is one small group learning model between 4-5 people with different backgrounds to complete a task for a common goal. This model can also foster positive social skills for students. The most visible stages of growing social skills are discussion and evaluation. The research method used is classroom action research. This research is designed with a cycle model that is repeatable and sustainable. The research subjects were students in grade IV of Public Elementary School 031 Pelesiran with a total of 28 people. Research instruments are student worksheets (LKS), process assessment sheets, test questions, observation sheets, documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in the results of mathematics learning material in building the beam and cube space of the fourth grade students with STAD type Cooperative Learning models using three-dimensional media in the form of models of space building. The results showed that the STAD type Cooperative Learning model using three-dimensional media can improve student learning processes and results in learning to build a beam space and cube.
