Abstract

Employee performance problems always attract interest to be studied, because employee performance is the spearhead for measuring the achievement of company goals. The success in achieving the goals of a company is very much determined by the workforce factor who has adequate work performance, especially in the current intense business competition. Likewise in hotels engaged in accommodation services, where the contact between guests and hotel employees is relatively intensive, the employee performance of hotel employees is one of the key factors determining the success of the hotel. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the Work Environment, Compensation, and Emotional Intelligence on Employee Performance at Hotel Grand Elite Pekanbaru. The respondents of this research were 103 hotel employees. As exogenous variables are Work Environment, Compensation, and Emotional Intelligence. While the endogenous variable is Employee Performance. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression using SPSS. Hypothesis test results show that the work environment and compensation have a significant effect on employee performance while emotional intelligence has no significant effect on employee performance. The results of this study can be used as a decision-making policy for the company for employees at the Grand Elite Hotel Pekanbaru, to further optimize their work environment, compensation, and emotional intelligence. Permasalahan kinerja karyawan selalu menarik minat untuk dikaji, karena kinerja karyawan merupakan ujung tombak untuk mengukur pencapaian tujuan perusahaan. Keberhasilan pencapaian tujuan suatu perusahaan sangat ditentukan oleh faktor tenaga kerja yang mempunyai prestasi kerja yang memadai, apalagi dalam persaingan bisnis yang ketat seperti saat ini. Demikian juga halnya pada hotel yang bergerak di bidang jasa akomodasi, dimana kontak antara tamu dan karyawan hotel relatif intensif, kinerja karyawan pada karyawan hotel menjadi salah satu faktor kunci penentu keberhasilan hotel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja, Kompensasi, dan Kecerdasan Emosional terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Hotel Grand Elite Pekanbaru. Responden penelitian ini adalah karyawan hotel sebanyak 103 orang. Sebagai variabel eksogen adalah Lingkungan Kerja, Kompensasi, dan Kecerdasan Emosional. Sedangkan variabel endogen yaitu Kinerja Karyawan. Alat analisis yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa Lingkungan Kerja dan Kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja karyawan sedangkan Kecerdasan Emosional tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat dijadikan suatu kebijakan pengambilan keputusan bagi perusahaan untuk karyawan pada Hotel Grand Elite Pekanbaru, untuk lebih mengoptimalkan lingkungan kerja, kompensasi, dan kecerdasan emosional yang dimiliki.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine whether Product, and Price on purchase decision and customer loyalty at PT. Mura Maha Agung Pekanbaru employees. The population of this research is not known with certainty. The sampling technique used in this research is roscoe sampling and the sample size is 100 customers. Data collection was done using questionnaire and interview. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression, F test, and t test to test the hypothesis. The result T test showed that Product, and Price were positive and signficant predictors of purchase decision and customer loyalty at PT. Mura Maha Agung employees. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa pengaruh produk, dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian dan loyalitas konsumen pada PT. Mura Maha Agung Pekanbaru. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh konsumen PT. Mura Maha Agung Pekanbaru yang jumlahnya tidak dapat dipastikan. Teknik Pengambilan Sampel menggunakan Sampel Roscoe, sehingga sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 nasabah. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan wawancara. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, Uji F dan Uji t untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara bersama-sama dan pengaruh parsial antara variabel yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara parsial variabel produk, dan harga berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap keputusan dan loyalitas konsumen.

Abstract

This study aims to know and analyze the influence of price to book value on capital structure and profitability of health and pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia during the period 2012-2019. The population in this study was 12 companies at health and pharmaceutical sub-sector companies in Indonesia during the period 2012-2019. The sampling technique was done using the purposive sampling method. Based on the sample criteria, there were 8 companies that matched the sample criteria. The data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive analysis and analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 21. The results showed (1) PBV variable had a positive and significant influence on capital structure of health and pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia during the period 2012-2019. (2) PBV variable had no significant influence on profitability of health and pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia during the period 2012-2019. (3) Capital structure variable had no significant influence on profitability of health and pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia during the period 2012-2019.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are (1) to determine, test, and analyze the influence of motivation, organizational culture, and competence on job satisfaction and performance of Pekanbaru City Health Office employees. (2) To find out, test, and analyze the effect of employee job satisfaction on employee performance at the Pekanbaru City Health Office. In this study, the population was all employees of the Pekanbaru City Health Office, namely 99 employees (Health Service Data for 2020). The sample is part of the population members. The sampling technique used in this study used a saturated sample. The number of samples used in this study is all members of the population of the research object, as many as 99 respondents. The data collection technique used is the documentation of existing data in the agency and the distribution of questionnaires through the google form. The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive analysis and SEM Structural Equation Analysis model with the help of Smart PLS software. The results of the study show that the increase in performance can increase is really influenced by high employee motivation. Organizational culture has no significant impact on employee job satisfaction at the Pekanbaru City Health Office. Employee competence is proven to have a positive impact on employee job satisfaction. Employee work motivation does not have a significant impact on employee performance. Employee work organizational culture does not have a significant impact on employee performance. Employee competence has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Employee job satisfaction has a significant impact on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of price, service quality and location on student satisfaction and decision to study at the Pelita Indonesia Institute of Business and Technology. The population of this study were students and active students at IBT PI for the Even Semester period of the 2020/2021 Academic Year, totaling 2,353 students. Sampling in this study used the Accidental Sampling method, so that the sample in this study was 100 respondents. Methods of collecting data through questionnaires and interviews. The analysis technique in this research is Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0 software. Based on the results obtained in this study, the price variable has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction and decisions, service quality has a negative and insignificant effect on student satisfaction and decisions, and location has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction and decisions. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Harga, Kualitas Pelayanan dan Lokasi terhadap Kepuasan dan keputusan mahasiswa untuk berkuliah di Institut Bisnis dan Teknologi Pelita Indonesia. Populasi dari penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa dan mahasiswi aktif di IBT PI periode Semester Genap Tahun Akademik 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 2.353 mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Accidental Sampling, sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 100 responden. Metode pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini adalah Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini bahwa variabel Harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan dan Keputusan Mahasiswa, Kualitas Pelayanan berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Kepuasan dan Keputusan Mahasiswa, dan Lokasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan dan Keputusan Mahasiswa.
