Abstract

This study aims to explore the potential of zakat, infak, and alms (ZIA) and describe the institutional existence of the National Zakat Management Agency (popularly called BAZNAS) of Jombang Regency. To achieve this goal, the study used a qualitative field approach, expose facto, explorative, and descriptive analysis techniques Miles and Huberman. There are three points of conclusion. First, the potential of ZIA funds in Jombang is Rp. 561.943.512,- per month or Rp. 6,743,322,145,- per year. This amount comes from two agencies, namely the Regional Personnel Agency and the Ministry of Religious Jombang Regency. Potential ZIA funds can be explored further from 26 agencies and other companies in Jombang. Second, the existence of BAZNAS Jombang gets national juridical support in the form of legislation about zakat but not yet armed with Local Regulation of Zakat. Its role recently has been limited to internal coordination meetings, external consultations, unit for collecting zakat (UCZ) training, socialization of Zakat Law, and the collection of infak from Muslim government employees at the Government Office of Jombang Regency. Third, the supporting factors: (1) the normative basis of the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet; (2) juridical foundation in the form of Zakat Law; (3) structural support; (4) operational fund guarantee; (5) organizational management system supported by the availability of building, space, and representative work facilities, and its human resources; (6) cooperation network with agencies and companies in accordance with the needs of ZIS fund raising program. Inhibiting factors: (1) there is no Zakat Regulation or other juridical provision for the collection of ZIS in Jombang Regency; (2) not yet available part of human resources needed according to requirement of distribution development; (3) there is no development of information media available to facilitate the communication of ZIS fund raising program; (4) not yet optimal management function and organizational management as the main strength of ZIS distribution programs. This research recommends the development of further research to be more intensive and optimal about the potential of ZIS fund, especially in BAZNAS of Jombang Regency and generally the Zakat Management Institutions (popularly called LAZ) in Jombang Regency.

Abstract

This article try to serve various study about  the  important of  Sport Psychology to increase the Indonesian sport performance.  Sport Psychology is needed to support the application of sport science to increase sport performnce. Various study indicated that the Sport Psychology has a real contribution and role in achieving sport performance. Abstract

This research is aimed at knowing the goal orientation difference of learninf achievement in physical education between students having Javanese ethnic background and those having Tionghoa one. The population of this research were the SMU students in Yogyakarta City. The cluster random sampling technique was used by taking 320 students as the sample. The “TESQ” which developedby Duda & Nicholls (1989) was employed as the data collecting technique to reveal variabel, of the goal orientation of learning achievement in physical education.Then student demography data was used to reveal variabel of ethnic background. The calsulation result using T-test statistical analysis was t = -14.294 and p = 0.000. The result constituted the significant difference of the goal orientation of learning achievement in physical education between students having Javanese ethnic background and those having Tionghoa one. It means that the SMU students with Tionghoa ethnic background had higher goal orientation of learning achievement in physical education than those with Javanese ethnic background. Also, the students with Tionghoa background had higher goal orientation of learning achievement in physical education than those with Javanese ethnics background.Key Words : achievement, physical education, Javanese, Tionghoa

Abstract

This research was aimed to investigate the psychological characteristics of Indonesian SEA Games Athletes in term of team sports. The psychological characteristics consists of motivation, self-confidence, anxiety control, mental preparation, team emphasis, and concentration. This research employed the quantitative approach using survey method with a restrospective causal-comparative design also called ex post facto. The subjects of this research were selected by means of purposive sampling technique. Subjects consisted of 83 athletes from team sports. The data were collected using Psychological Skills Inventory for Sports (PSIS) questionnaire. Those data were then analyzed using SPSS 23. the psychological characteristics consisting of aspects of motivation in the very high category with mean values (35.46), confidence in the high category with mean values (26.51), anxiety control in the high category with mean values (24.18), mental preparation in the high category with mean values (21.32), the team emphasis in the high category with mean values (15.17), and concentration in the moderate category with mean values (22.30). it can be concluded that the psychological characteristics of Indonesian SEA Games Athletes in term of team sports in the high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran STEAM terhadap keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Pembelajaran STEAM merupakan suatu pendekatan pembelajaran yang menggunakan lima komponen ilmu yaitu sains, teknologi, rekayasa, seni dan matematika. Proses pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuasi eksperimental dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jagalempeni dan sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VA untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas VB untuk kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknil purposive sample. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa yang diajar menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran STEAM dengan siswa yang tidak diajar menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran STEAM. Hal ini ditunjukan oleh rata-rata tes pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 49.79 sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol diperoleh rata-rata tes sebesar 28.13, dengan selisih 14,729 sedangkan uji beda yang dilakukan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS versi 23, didapatkan nilai = 2,981 dengan signifikasi (p) = 0,005.dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan diterima, karena nilai t hitung (2,981) > dari nilai tabel (1,0129) dan nilai signifikasi<0,05.

The globalization has revieled the fast growing complexity in our society. If, there fore, isof crucial importance for society, including high institution ofsport discipline, to adopt tangibleparadigm and strategy so as to remain keeping abreast with all dynalnics. The high institutionof sport discipline having no sense of future and dynamic anticipationof merely equipping itselfwith temporary reaction will be crushed by the changes in our sociaty and, in tum, it willgradually"die out".Welcoming this challeging globalitation era, the high institution of sport discipline is leftbehind in tenns of its human recaurses aspecton studies of sport, science development. Abstract

Kesenjangan antara pendidikan dan dunia kcrja, merupakanmasalah yang dilematis. Bnoyak faktor yang diperkirakan sebagaipenyebabnya. Salah satu diantaranya kurikulum yang disajikanoleh lembaga pcndidikan jurang mengarah pada penumbuhandunia kerja dan usaha yang dibutuhkan uotuk mcmasuki duniakerja.Hampir tiga tahun kurikulum fieksibel diberlakukan di lcmba~ga-Iembaga pendidikan tenaga kependidikan tcnnasuk di JurosanPendidikan Olahraga FPOK IKIP Yogyakarta. Memang masihbelum cukup waktu mengehaluasi berhasil tidaknya kurikulumterscbut, karena menurut Nasution (1985 : 221) pada hakekatnyapcnilaian kurikulum dapat cti1ihal dari hasilnya, yaitu kedudukan.kehidupan atau prestasi para lulusannya. Hal ioi mcngidcntiflkasikanbahwa masih harus menunggu waktu. Namun dcmikian lahimyakurikulum fieksibel merupakan su:J.tu pendckatan perbaikanke arah terciptanya lulusan yang mempunyai kesempatan lebihterbuka untuk terjun ke dunia kerja. Akan tetapi karena konsepperbaikan meminta situasi yang baru, maka harus terjadi pengembanganyang melibatkan berbagai kemampuan uotuk mcngoptimalkankurikulum tersebul.Unluk melaksanakan kurikulum fieksibel harus diiringiadanya upaya perubahan dari tatanao yang paling rendah, yaitujurusan. Perubahan pada tingkar jurusan dapat dilakukan seandainyasetiap pengajar juga "mengalami perubahan sikap, yakniperubahan sikap mengajar dengan perencanaannya masing-masingmenjadi mengajar dalam koordinasi.

Abstract: The Teachers Role as a Model in Teaching Character and MoralVirtues through Physical Education. Problems of students bad character andmorality always appear in the field of education. This may result from the fact thateducation in Indonesia emphasizes intellectual development only, while otheraspects, such as personality, affective factors, and moral virtues, receive lessattention. Schools and teachers actually play an important role and have aresponsibility for students' learning both in the cognitive and affective aspects. Inother words, improvement of and emphasis on the cognitive aspect such as skills inreading, language, mathematics, and science aimed at preparing students to enterthe global world should be balanced against the improvement of their affectiveaspect. Abstract

Abstract Result learn the student of FIK UNY in subject Sport Psychology less gratifying. Approach model the Strategy Program for Effective Learning/ thinking (SPELT) represent one effort innovate to  increase the quality of result learn the students. This research aim to know the  model applying in improving achievementlearn the student of FIK UNY in subject Sport Psychology. This research use the device of action research. Subject and research object is student FIK UNY. Used Research Instrument: (1) pre test and post test; (2) sheet of method observation learn; and (3) sheet of observation of assessment of student activity in study;(4) sheet of applying observation model the SPELT. Data type obtained by there is two that is quantitative data and qualitative by using technique analysis t test. Result of research indicate that the Sport Psychology study by applying model the SPELT earn: (1) improving result learn the student in subject Sport Psychology; and  (2) increasing the quality of study process in subject Sport psychology. Abstract

In order not to make classroom action research (CAR) out of its core, at least there are five things that must be known and understood by a physical educator before designing and implementing classroom action research, which are: (1) CAR is a tool to improve or enhance the quality of teaching and educational implementation, therefore, appropriate learning methods and models should be chosen practically in order not to interfere or impede the commitment of daily duties; (2) the data collection techniques should not spend much time, so the main responsibility of physical educator/teacher is not neglected; (3) the research methodology should gives an opportunity for physical educator to formulate strong action reasearch hypothesis and determine appropriate strategies that suitable with the atmosphere and condition of the class; (4) The issues which raised should be updated and based on the responsibility of the area itself and also the problems which can be solved through CAR by physical educator itself; (5) CAR develop to the scopes of school. In this case, hopefully, all of school staffs give their participate and contribute, so that the other physical educator can feel the importance of that research. CAR will allows and facilitates physical educator to improve four competencies, those are: professionalism, pedagogical, personality, and social. The Understanding dan aplication of the CAR will help physical educator to developes four competencies requiered by the UU RI number 14 of 2005.
