Abstract

Bogor district have a good potential of ecotourism, but recently only a few sites were developed and known by community. One of the keys to success is active participation of the stakeholders involved, particularly the Culture and Tourism Agency (CTA) of Bogor District, in introducing and offering the existing ecotourism potential.  This research was conducted to identify the role of CTA of Bogor District in the development of ecotourism in Bogor.  Data on action taken and policy issued by the CTA were collected through participative observation and in-depth interview using interview guidance.  The result showed that the Agency had actively participated in the ecotourism development of Bogor District, and built cooperation or partnership with various stakeholders.  However, the Agency’s policy should be synchronized with the policy of other stakeholder in the ecotourism development of Bogor District.   Keyword: Department of Culture and Tourism - Bogor district, Role, Development, Ecotourism.

Abstract

Patengan and Alam Endah villages located in the Rancabali District South Bandung. Both villages have identical characteristics to the region that most of the people engaged in agricultural with variations in the tourism sector. The identical characteristic make social capital comparation can be done. Differences in the two villages is contained in land tenure wich unlike Alam Endah Village that have private land tenure, Patengan Village are in state land tenure. The field research was conducted in June 2016. The depth interviews were conducted using a semi-structured questioner developed by Social Capital Assessment Tool (SCAT). Research is done by carefully observing the phenomenon using participant observation approach. Research showed that land tenure have effect on social capital (especially on trust, norm, caring and proactive action element) which happened because public concern over restrictions on access to natural resources increase the value of social capital because people tend to give positive responses to avoid conflict. In contrary, a figure that have influence toward natural resources access followed by other society member makes social capital inevitable increase. Key word: Alam Endah Village, land tenure, Patengan Village, social capital

Abstract

Mount Rinjani is a volcano with hot water, savanna, and other beauty of nature as one of the leading destinations in Lombok. Behind its beauty, Mount Rinjani National Park (TNGR) is in a natural hazard area, making it a disaster-prone area. The objective of this study is to identify the parties and roles of each party involved in the Ecotourism hazard management in TNGR based on their level of interest and influence. Determination of sampling used purposive sampling, as well as semi-structured key informant interviews with snowball sampling using interview guides. The study object of this study were the parties (stakeholders) and the relationship between the parties involved in the hazard management of TNGR ecotourism. The roles of stakeholders in managing the dangers of TNGR Ecotourism were divided into four: support, actors, decision-makers, and infrastructure providers. The key players were TNGR Center and West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Provincial Tourism Office. The subjects were North Lombok Regency Tourism Office, Central Lombok Regency Tourism Office, East Lombok Culture and Tourism Office, EMHC (Edelweiss Medical Help Center), NTB Provincial Office of Environment and Forestry, Mataram Rescue and Search Office, BPMVG Sembalun, Rinjani Porter Guide Forum, Lombok APGI, Head of Sembalun Subdistrict, Head of Bayan Subdistrict, Sangkreang Nature Lovers Organization, and Tourism Activist Group (Pokdarwis) Rinjani Perkasa. The context setter was Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of NTB Province. Abstract

Scholars has emphasized that community involvement are an important factor in achieving sustainable tourism goals, including community empowerment. The study purpose is to identify community perception of social empowerment resulted from tourism development, to analyze the community involvement in tourism development and to analyze the relationship between community involvement and perceptions related to social empowerment in tourism development. The method employ in this research was a quantitative approach (i.e., household survey). The result showed that majority respondents have a positive perception related social empowerment indicators, including conflict in the area. Community involvement in tourism industry and decision-making process could enhance respondents’ perceptions toward social empowerment indicators. It can be seen from the percentage of the respondents who has positive perception is higher than those who do not involve in tourism industry or decision-making process. The interesting finding is, however, despite the limited resources due to island condition and the ethnic composition that dominate by certain ethnic group, the conflict occurs in the area seems to be low. Since more respondent are disagree if tourism in their area increase the conflict. Key words: community involvement, decision-making process, tourism industry

Abstract

Intimidasi atau yang dikenal dengan istilah bullying, dalam penelitian di tempat kerja menghasilkan dampak kesehatan mental yang merugikan. Namun, sedikit yang mengungkap perbedaan jenis kelamin yang menghubungkan perilaku bullying di tempat kerja dan kesehatan mental yang buruk. Salah satunya, temuan tentang perempuan suku Afrika-Amerika yang kurang mendapat perlindungan bullying di tempat kerja melalui dukungan sosial rekan kerja. Individu muda, bercerai, anggota fakultas, dan memiliki penyakit kronis ditemukan memiliki skor persepsi bullying di tempat kerja yang tinggi dan berdampak pada meningkatnya kecemasan, depresi, citra diri negatif, serta rasa permusuhan. Penindasan di dunia maya atau cyberbullying di tempat kerja pun ditemukan sebagai fenomena yang berkembang dengan akibat fatal, mulai dari menimbulkan ketegangan mental karyawan dan kepuasan kerja yang rendah, hingga iklim organisasi yang bermusuhan. Pelaku cyberbullying di tempat kerja ini membenarkan perilaku bullying mereka dan hasil fitur komunikasi cyber ternyata mempengaruhi perilaku cyberbullying di tempat kerja.

Abstract

Gaya hidup konsumen yang semakin berubah dan berkembang memberikan peluang bagi perusahaan untuk menciptakan suatu produk kopi yang akhirnya menyebabkan banyaknya jenis merek kopi yang ditawarkan kepada konsumen. Suatu merek yang telah dikenal melalui daya tarik iklan dan mempunyai citra merek yang baik dikalangan masyarakat, maka secara otomatis konsumen dengan mudah memutuskan untuk membeli suatu barang dengan mudah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengentahui pengaruh daya tarik iklan dan citra merek terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Luwak White Coffee. Variabel independen pada penelitian ini adalah daya tarik iklan dan citra merek, sedangkan variabel dependen pada penelitian ini adalah keputusan pembelian. Sampel data yang diteliti adalah masyarakat Surabaya yang pernah melihat, membeli, dan mencoba Luwak White Coffee. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daya tarik iklan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, daya tarik iklan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap citra merek, dan citra merek berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

If during the two partners just sell fabrics, it should be developed to sell in some form of hand made products. It is made from batik, all of which can be categorized as a souvenir. Batik in the form of souvenirs still has its own market share, that is the purpose of domestic tourists, foreign tourists as well as for celebrations such as weddings. The next obstacle is related to the production of a narrow space. Ideally batik production has space sized sufficiently broad and flexible to produce it. But in both partners, it is very narrow production space. Production stages are still allows for optimized drying stages using a drying design of effective and efficient, so it can be argued that the drying apparatus in accordance with the terms intensive. However, the increasing production to be followed without by having the expansion of space / area. In addition, to design those things need to be considered in making the selection of material drying apparatus. Because when using the metal material will result corrosion process. The next obstacle was until recently run marketing is conventional marketing that relied on information 'word of mouth' is through the information passed from neighbor to relatives or friends, or just by using the card. Consumers are loyal employees, teachers and the general public who want batik for uniforms purposes. The resulting agreement between the partners and the proposer of activities in an attempt to overcome the problems that arise in the partner. The activities are doing the training and mentoring the design and manufacture of souvenirs made from batik, as well as the drying equipmemt needed to support the improvement of the production process. And also training on consolidation marketing theory and application of on-line marketing.Keywords: souvenir, online marketing, diversification and intensification

Abstract

The number of consumer demands for Mitra's taro chips has not been fulfilled due to limited production, which is still traditional using manual equipment and because of the lack of knowledge about business planning and the lack of business development strategies through the application of the marketing mix (4P) using information technology and computers in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. 19. Therefore, Partners need process innovation in the form of modern equipment for product packaging. Paradigm changes to be able to adapt in maintaining their business by using garlic as an antioxidant as a natural preservative for taro chips, as well as knowledge of marketing applications using internet technology to meet consumer demand and reach a broader market. Besides that, it also pays attention to aspects of business legality, such as having a business license to ensure product quality and maintain customer trust. This activity aims to help partners develop their business in the snack food sector, namely taro chips that continue to grow in Tungkar Village, Situjuah District, Limo Nagari through equipment assistance and 4P marketing mix strategies these micro-businesses can survive and increase their results. Partners' theoretical benefits from this activity will be to gain knowledge about business strengthening through innovation (paradigms and processes). Practically, Partners will get business development assistance through more modern equipment for packaging taro chips that are durable and long-lasting. Partners can implement marketing strategies from the 4P aspect using internet technology to reach consumers more broadly.

Abstract

The learning process is an important part of the world of education, especially education for autistic children, because through learning teachers can interact and evaluate their students directly. The problem that arises is how to provide good learning to autistic children who have obstacles and obstacles so far. Pekanbaru Lab School is a place for autistic children with 30 people in the age range of 6-15 years, where Pekanbaru Lab School also faces problems with the provision of teaching or learning to auits. There are five problems found in learning at the Pekanbaru Lab School to face the Indonesian Revolutionary era 4.0 in the field of education so that it becomes an obstacle namely the learning method, the role of the teacher in learning, students, facilities and infrastructure, the role of parents. With the problems faced by Pekanbaru Lab School as partners of the Community Partnership Program, a solution is needed to overcome these problems and prepare the Pekanbaru Lab School towards the era of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution in the field of Education. The first is the selection of a good learning method so as to improve teacher teaching skills by updating the curriculum that integrates with technology, especially Robot technology. Second is to increase the role of teachers in active learning to guide autistic children by continuing teacher education to higher education and facilitating teachers in training activities on autistic children. The three students who increase in number and have different characters, the solution is to add teachers as educators and according to competence and expertise of each teacher on the type or character of children with autism. The four facilities and infrastructure are by adding facilities such as adding classrooms and open spaces and adding therapeutic media by providing technological elements such as Ubtech Humanoid Robot technology. The fifth role of parents is by the way parents must play an active role in the learning of autistic children at home and parents will certainly be given training or discussion forums to understand their children more deeply.
