Abstract

Congestion occurs due to increased vehicle and very rapid population growth in the city of Padang. The problem of congestion is generally caused by the physical limitations of urban land, economic and social aspects and culture of the community, these very aspects determining the moral, discipline and human behavior as users of transportation. The purpose of this study is to identify the causes of congestion, knowing the volume of vehicle traffic, knowing the average daily and to find out the capacity at the junction of the black stump road up to the front of the basko grand mall. The highway is a road transport infrastructure play a role very important in the transport sector, especially in the continuity of the distribution of goods and services. To get effective data on traffic volume and road junction up to the front of the black stump basko grand mall to do the survey. Calculation on the road junction of the black stump up front with basko grand mall is done according to the Direktorat Jendral Bina Marga. The peak hours for a motorcycle happened at 17.00-18.00 Gmt bypassed 3795 vehicles. Private car at 17.00-18.00 Gmt with the amount of 1257 vehicles. For Pick up and the Minibus occurred at 07.00-08.00 am passed 380 vehicles. For micro trucks and cars by the groom at 17.00-18.00 Gmt with a population of 75 vehicles. Mini bus or minibus at 17.00-18.00 Gmt with a population of 91 vehicles. For large buses at 17.00-18.00 Gmt with the number of 66 vehicles.

Abstract

Terciptanya suatu sistem transportasi yang menjamin pergerakan manusia, kendaraan dan barang secara lancar, aman, nyaman dan sesuai dengan lingkungan, merupakan tujuan pembangunan. Dalam perencanaan, perancangan dan penetapan berbagai kebijakan sistem transportasi, teori pergerakan arus lalu lintas memegang peranan penting. Arus lalu lintas yang melewati suatu ruas jalan tidaklah konstan, tetapi tergantung dari pola kegiatan dan tingkat pertumbuhan pemakai jalan, karena semakin besarnya pertumbuhan akan mengakibatkan kemacetan pada ruas jalan yang dilewatinya. Volume lalu lintas dapat didefinisikan sebagai jumlah kendaraan yang melewati bagian panjang tertentu pada suatu jalur atau jalan dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Pada arus lalu lintas sering terjadi kendaraan yang saling beriringan dengan kecepatan yang sangat beragam serta banyaknya kapasitas kendaraan yang melewati jalur atau jalan yang sama sehingga akan menimbulkan kepadatan. Hambatan samping adalah dampak terhadap kinerja lalu lintas dari aktivitas segmen jalan. Hasil analisa data yang telah dilakukan, tahap I hari senin 07 Oktober 2019, didapatkan nilai volume atau kapasitas sebesar 3360 smp/jam, nilai level of service adalah 0,47 dan mempunyai level of service C. Tahap II hari sabtu, 12 Oktober 2019 didapatkan nilai volume atau kapasitas sebesar 3643,12 smp/jam, nilai level of service adalah 0,70 dan mempunyai level of service D.

Abstract

The highway is one of the infrastructure for the smooth traffic. One part of the road that are considered necessary to be analyzed and evaluated is an intersection. Three Gadut intersection is non signalized intersection. The traffic flow is quite dense, and lack of discipline of road user factors competing space to pass the crossing, resulting in congestion is very influential on traffic conditions at peak hours in the morning, afternoon and evening. Prior to conducting the survey, the first to do is survey the condition of the intersection that includes geometric characteristics and traffic volume. From the analysis of environmental data, side friction factor to the junction of three Gadut is the criteria being. Rated capacity (C) the smallest is 3706.3 smp/hour, the degree of saturation of 1.1 smp/hour. This value is over the limit permitted values manually indonesian road capacity of 0.8 to 0.9 (1.1> 0.9), it is concluded that the traffic flow is the crossroads of three Gadut saturated traffic flow. The queue probability value between 128.8% - 157.4% with a total delay largest average 11.57 seconds/smp. It is concluded that the chances of a queue at the intersection of three Gadut very large, so it could cause congestion.

Abstract

Forum DAS Kota Padang menemukan adanya kerusakan di lima DAS di Kota Padang. Salah satu kerusakan ada pada DAS Batang Kuranji yang berisi aliran sungai Batang Guo. Sungai Batang Guo merupakan anak sungai Batang Kuranji yang airnya dimanfaatkan sebagai air baku, pembangkit listrik mikro hidro, dan irigasi. Kerusakan disebabkan oleh kerusakan hutan di bagian hulu sehingga mempercepat kerusakan DAS di bagian hilir. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut perlunya edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang konservasi air dengan melestarikan sumber daya air sungai berupa kegiatan menjaga kondisi tebing sungai. Hal ini dilakukan dengan memberdayakan masyarakat sekitar wilayah sungai dalam bentuk penanaman bambu di sepanjang tebing Batang Guo. Beberapa kegiatan yang dilakukan sebelum penanaman adalah kegiatan penyuluhan dan kegiatan pembibitan dan penanaman. Rangkaian kegiatan pemberdayaan yang dilakukan kepada masyarakat wilayah hulu sungai Batang Guo telah menambah pengetahuan penduduk dalam hal budidaya bambu, konservasi air, dan peluang bisnis terhadap keberadaan bambu tersebut. The Padang City River Basin Forum (RB) found damage to five RBs in Padang City. One of the damages was on the Batang Kuranji RB, which contains the Batang Guo River. The Batang Guo River is a tributary of the Batang Kuranji River, whose water is used as raw water, micro-hydro power plants, and irrigation. The damage is caused by damage to the forest in the upstream area, thus accelerating the damage to the RB downstream. Based on these findings, educating the public about water conservation is necessary by conserving river water resources to maintain riverbank conditions. Conservation efforts are carried out by empowering communities around the river by planting bamboo along the Batang Guo cliffs. Some activities carried out before planting were extension and nursery and planting activities. The series of empowerment activities carried out for the people of the upper reaches of the Batang Guo River have increased the knowledge of the residents in terms of bamboo cultivation, water conservation, and business opportunities regarding the existence of this bamboo.
