Abstract

All programs in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of UIN SGD Bandung are expected to produce outputs that have an impact on improving quality in all fields. Therefore, each program is always maintained its quality both in terms of planning, process and evaluation. The Countenance Evaluation Model is a model that raises broader insights in evaluating the implementation of a program, including the Student Tahfidz Institute. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Tahfidz Program Students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences UIN Bandung in terms of planning, process and evaluation of programs using quantitative descriptive method. The results showed that planning, process and program evaluation had a positive effect on the quality of the Tahfidz Program Implementation Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UIN Bandung.

Abstract

Teori komunikasi merupakan bangunan teori yang bersumber dari interdisipliner resource (sumber-sumber yang saling berkaitan) dengan percampuran dari ilmu sosiologi, psikologi, pengetahuan alam, matematika, dan sumber lain yang membantu perkembangan ilmu komunikasi. Perkembangan sebagai sebuah ilmu melibatkan penelitian dasar yang berasal dari berbagai cabang ilmu dengan sumbangan pemikiran dan gagasan yang memperkaya konstruksi teori komunikasi. Teori dikonstruksikan melalui proses yang dikenal dengan inquiry. Untuk bisa memahami suatu teori maka diperlukan pemahaman awal terhadap proses inquiry. Inquiry adalah sebuah studi sistematis tentang pengalaman yang mengarah kepada pemahaman, pengetahuan dan teori. Dalam pandangan Islam kegiatan komunikasi tidak hanya membentuk pola hubungan antar manusia tetapi membentuk pola kedekatan hubungan antara manusia dengan Rab-nya. Sekulerisasi pemahaman untuk memisahkan kegiatan komunikasi antara manusia dengan manusia membuat pemahaman komunikasi terbatas pada aspek manifest. Pertanggungjawaban terbesar komunikasi manusia adalah dengan Rab-nya sehingga pemahaman ini menjadi dasar dari kegiatan komunikasi dalam Islam. Berkomunikasi dengan sesama manusia tidak bisa dibatasi dengan penilaian aspek manifest semata. Salah satu surat dalam Al Qur’an yang memiliki banyak pengaruh bagi kehidupan manusia adalah surat Al Fatihah. Surat ini wajib dibaca minimal tujuh belas kali sehari semalam oleh setiap muslim dalam sholatnya. Dalam surat ini digambarkan proses komunikasi antara hamba dengan RabNya. Proses komunikasi transenden tersebut menjadi dasar pola komunikasi dari setiap muslim dengan orang lain.

Abstract

Kekerasan berlatar agama mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun. Indonesia sebagai negara multikultur membutuhkan pendekatan yang cerdas dalam pemberitaan berlatar agama. Selama ini media lebih banyak mengedepankan jurnalisme konfl ik daripada jurnalisme damai. Sehingga media berperan bagi penyebaran kekerasan berlatar agama. Karena itu diperlukan pendekatan jurnalisme damai yang mengedepankan prinsip perdamaian dalam setiap pemberitaan. Urgensi pelaksanaan jurnalisme damai bagi negara multikultur seperti Indonesia adalah keharusan agar konfl ik tidak semakin berkembang. Agar praktek jurnalisme damai bisa berjalan dengan semestinya dibutuhkan proses dialog antara pemerintah, media dan masyarakat.Keywords: kekerasan, agama, jurnaslisme, perdamaian

Abstract

Deadly accident at Tugu Tani Jakarta not only shows the human side of an event. Dissemination of information through mass media is no longer dominant in determining how the audience should act. The emergence of social networking sites opens new channels for the dissemination of public information that is more believable. The development of information technology not only marked by the turn of the communication device but coupled with changes in the behavior of human users. They are actively selecting and using various media to meet the information needs, socialize, trade, and show the existence. The position of the mass media is no longer dominant in determining the type of information and the consuming public dictates the type of information. Through a social networking site and diverse site audience and information providers are actively selecting and using various types of information. In this position the media as marginalized (decenter) and does not become a major reference source.

Abstract

This research describes the development, analyzing the communications strategy of socialization migration of tv analog to digital in Central Java using descriptive qualitative method. Data collection is done by interviewing 200 informants in four areas namely Semarang, Magelang, Purwokerto, and Pekalongan. Data analysis was undertaken by using analysis phase of strategic communication which includes formative research, strategy, research, and evaluation tactic. The results show a majority of residents Central Java did not know about migration plan of analog to digital tv. It is a challenge to plan a proper communications strategy according to conditions in Central Java so that the migration can run well and make benefit for all parties. Certainty roadmap migrations will ease the preparation of the communications strategy. The contribution of this research is to provide communication strategy of socialization of digital broadcast system in Central Java.

Abstract

Covid-19 announcement of the case the first time in Indonesia directly by the President Jokowi has made people panic. Because most of the information circulating on social media comes from online media. The role of the media in a pandemic is as important as doctors and medical personnel, because usually health issues in Indonesia are rarely a concern. This study aims to determine how Detik.com and Kompas.com framing about the COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia. The method used in this research is the analysis of media text context with data analysis through the Pan and Kosicky framing model using the constructivism paradigm through qualitative research methods. The results showed that Detik.com and Kompas.com perform media functions as a social control with the same framing in response to a situation of panic in the community after President Jokowi announced two positive first citizen Covid-19 in Indonesia. In general, the framing of the news carried out by the two online media has the same theme in informing efforts to deal with the pandemic calmly, moving a healthy lifestyle, not panic buying and anticipating the worst.
