Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted to formulate to increase the sheep production at CV Mitra Tani Farm (CV MT Farm), Ciampea, Bogor. The research was conducted using descriptive analysis by analyzing the problem experienced by CV. MitraTani Farm. Primary data and secondary data were gathered at this research. The research was also conducted using several analytical methods such as value chain mapping, internal factor evaluation (IFE) and external factor evaluation (EFE) matrix, SWOT and quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM). Based on the value chain analysis, the current production of sheep at CV MT farm is highly depending on the supply from its partners and internal farmers. According to the IFE and EFE results, the differences of each weighted values were respectively 2,120 and 0,686 so the position of the company in the SWOT matrix was situated at Quadrant I. Therefore the company needs to use a growth strategy. The QSPM sequenced the strategy priority as follow (1) increasing the number of lambs, (2) developing the management, (3) strengthening the capital and ownership, (4) improving the quality through technology. The result of the gross profit margin calculation, if the sheep‘s selling is increased up to 1000 sheep per month then the possible annual profit that can be earned by CV MT farm is 40,34% of the total production.Keywords: MT Farm, sheep production, strategies, SWOT, QSPM, gross profit marginABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk memformulasikan strategi peningkatan produksi domba di CV Mitra Tani Farm (CV MT Farm), Ciampea, Bogor. Pendekatan penelitian yang diterapkan adalah analisis deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan mempelajari permasalahan dari objek yang diteliti. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan alat analisis berupa pemetaan rantai nilai,  matriks IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) dan EFE (External Factor Evaluation), SWOT, dan QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). Hasil analisis rantai nilai diketahui bahwa produksi domba di CV MT farm saat ini sangat tergantung dari pasokan mitra dan petani internal. Hasil IFE dan EFE diperoleh selisih nilai tertimbang masing-masing sebesar 2,120 dan 0,686 maka diperoleh posisi perusahaan dalam matrik SWOT berada pada kuadran I. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan disarankan untuk menggunakan strategi pertumbuhan. Urutan prioritas strategi berdasarkan QSPM adalah (1) meningkatkan jumlah bakalan, (2) pengembangan manajemen, (3) memperkuat modal dan kepemilikan, (4) meningkatkan kualitas melalui teknologi. Hasil perhitungan gross profit margin diketahui keuntungan yang diperoleh CV MT farm setiap tahunnya jika meningkatkan penjualan domba mencapai 1000 ekor/bulan adalah sebesar 40,34% dari total produksi. Abstract

In Indonesia, many intermediaries of agricultural products are emerging as modern actors called business aggregators who utilize information from the internet or online technologies in their business activities. This study aims to analyze the activities and roles of online aggregators (based on information technology) in the order of value chains of agricultural products, especially vegetables. Purposive sampling technique was used in selecting 12 online business aggregators of vegetable products. Data were obtained through Focus Group Discussions and in-depth interviews with the business aggregator online owner. Based on the results of the analysis show that the main activities of the aggregator business value chain that are divided into three value chains, namely input provider, processing and marketing providers. Online aggregators become important actors in the agribusiness system in the future. In conventional agribusiness systems, non-online aggregators, whose position is in the subsystem, downstream agribusiness, but in online aggregator at present with the advancement of internet, the aggregator is in the middle/middle, between upstream, cultivation, downstream and supporting institutions subsystems. Abstract

Along with the implementation of provisions related to the regional-owned company in Bogor City Government, Regional Company ABC (the Company) took the initiative to design a precise and measurable performance measurement system. This study aims to manifest and portray the Company’s vision, mission, and motto into strategic objectives, to determine key performance indicators, and to design a performance evaluation system based on Balanced Scorecard (BSC). Data were collected by structured questionnaires, interviews, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to the directors and structural management as respondents based on non-random sampling methods. The strategic analysis (i.e., SWOT matrix, external-internal matrix, QSPM) was employed to assess operational excellence, business growth, and customer loyalty as the company's strategic objectives. As a result, we found fourteen performance indicators for the Company based on the BSC. The indicator targets were in line with the Company’s Budget Plan and the provisions of the Board of Directors. The design of this assessment system was then outlined in the form of an evaluation working paper as guidelines for the Company in running its business.Keywords: balanced scorecard, performance, measurement, regional company, SWOTAbstrak: Seiring dengan penerapan ketentuan terkait perusahaan daerah di wilayah Pemerintahan Kota Bogor, BUMD ABC (Perseroan) berinisiasi untuk merancang sistem pengukuran kinerja yang tepat dan terukur. Penelitian ini bertujuan menerjemahkan dan memetakan visi, misi, dan moto Perseroan ke dalam tujuan strategis, menentukan indikator keberhasilan kinerja, dan merancang sistem penilaian kinerja Perseroan berdasarkan Balanced Scorecard (BSC). Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terstruktur, wawancara, dan Diskusi Kelompok Terpumpun (DKT) dengan direksi dan pejabat struktural Perseroan menjadi responden penelitian melalui pengumpulan sampel tidak acak. Data kemudian diolah dengan alat analisis manajemen strategis (matriks SWOT, matriks internal eksternal, QSPM). Hasilnya adalah dalam proses perancangan dengan analisis, faktor keunggulan operasional, pertumbuhan usaha, dan loyalitas pelanggan menjadi tujuan strategis perusahaan yang ingin dicapai. Terdapat empat belas indikator kinerja yang tepat bagi Perseroan berdasarkan BSC dengan target yang selaras dengan RKAP dan ketentuan Dewan Direktur. Rancangan sistem penilaian ini kemudian dituangkan dalam bentuk kertas kerja evaluasi sebagai panduan bagi Perseroan dalam menjalankan bisnisnya.Kata kunci: balanced scorecard, BUMD, kinerja, pengukuran, SWOT
