Abstract

This study aims to improve the acquisition of Arabic vocabulary in early childhood with singing techniques. Children of all ages are basically happy to listen, sing and learn with songs. Therefore, music in general is an important part of the teaching-learning process for young students. The results showed that early childhood students enjoyed learning Arabic by singing and it was easier to remember the vocabulary taught by the teacher. Thus, it can be concluded that  the singing technique is able to improve the mastery of early childhood Arabic vocabulary especially for students of the Raodhatul Athfal Ma'had Hadits Al-Junaidiyah Blue Bone.Keywords: Singing technique, vocabulary mastery, Arabic

Abstract

Research on the method of kitab kuning learning has been widely carried out by many scholars, yet there is still a lack of research examining how to read the kitab kuning with the mumtaz method quickly. To complement the existing research, this study investigates the perception of As'adiyah Sengkang Islamic boarding school students towards Mumtaz learning methods. Using a perception case study research design, the study reported three things. First, Mumtaz's learning included ten chapters of material that began with recognizing word and keyword identity, vocabulary, verb change and ended with a change in the final line of words in the form of kitab kuning reading practices. Second, the application of the Mumtaz method consists of four stages, and third, the perception of students towards the Mumtaz learning method is positive and negative. Positive perception occurs because Mumtaz's material is easy to understand, and the learning method is quite fun because it always uses rhythmic songs. On the other hand, negative perceptions occur not because of the material problems and learning methods but because of a short duration of time and not directly applied to the kitab kuning, but partial book-based examples. This research implies that this learning method is worth applying and disseminating in various Islamic universities in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract             Da'wah is a form of religious communication whose main purpose is amar ma'ruf and nahi munkar with object of da'wah, mad'u, either in the form of individual or group. Da'i as da'wah perpetrators are required to master the da'wah material to be submitted to mad'unya, which includes the problem of aqidah, shariah, muamalah, and morality. As for the source of da'wah material that is the Qur'an and hadith which is the source of the highest teachings and sources of Islamic law. The existence of Arabic in da'wah becomes so important because the two material sources of the da'wah use Arabic, so Arabic is the key to the opening of Islamic knowledge. To examine and depth it also requires mastery of various branches of science such as Science Tafsir, Nahwu Science, Bayan Science, Ushul Fiqih, etc., which is not far from Arabic. In addition, the original literary books which are the product of thought, interpretation, syarahan of the Qur'an and hadith by the scholars of the past written in Arabic, all of which are part of the source of da'wah material that should be known by the da "i . All that aims for the delivery of da'wah material sourced from the Qur'an and hadith in accordance with Islamic Shari'a and distanced from misunderstanding of understanding received by the mad'u in receiving messages conveyed by a da'i. Kata Kunci: Islam, Qur'an, Balghah and Da'wah

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of higher education culture in developing the lecturers' professionalism in religious moderation education and the way religious moderation education help lecturers overcome conflicts of differences in student organizations. This research used a case study method. The subjects were 9 lecturers and 2 students at IAIN Bone. The instruments used were observation, documentation, and interview guidelines. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s analysis data. The result indicated that the educational culture practices of higher education that contribute to the professional development of lecturers were implemented in the management of institutions and their environment, learning facilities, and relations between lecturers. Religious moderation education could also help lecturers minimize differences in conflicts in each student organization in higher education. Therefore, this research implied that this role is worth learning and disseminating in various universities in Indonesia. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran budaya perguruan tinggi dalam mengembangkan profesionalisme dosen dalam pendidikan moderasi beragama dan cara pendidikan moderasi beragama membantu dosen mengatasi konflik perbedaan dalam organisasi kemahasiswaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus. Subyek penelitian adalah 9 orang dosen dan 2 orang mahasiswa IAIN Bone. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan pedoman wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan data analisis Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik budaya pendidikan perguruan tinggi yang berkontribusi pada pengembangan profesional dosen diimplementasikan dalam pengelolaan lembaga dan lingkungannya, fasilitas pembelajaran, dan hubungan antar dosen. Pendidikan moderasi beragama juga dapat membantu dosen meminimalisir perbedaan konflik di masing-masing organisasi kemahasiswaan di perguruan tinggi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menyiratkan bahwa peran tersebut layak untuk dipelajari dan disebarluaskan di berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia.

Abstract

Several studies have examined the cultivation of students in developing anti-corruption value awareness; however, there is still scarce study on anti-corruption value education mediated by Islamic warrior films. This study presents class-based research to examine how Islamic films increase knowledge of anti-corruption values. this paper to examine the use of Umar bin Khattab's Islamic film to promote anti-corruption values. Thirty-eight students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program volunteered as participants in this study. The data were collected from student worksheets, class observations, notes of in-class discussions, and semi-structured interviews. The finding indicates that using four major themes were identified: (1) Awareness of anti-corruption values; (2) Students' perceptions of the effectiveness of anti-corruption values; (honest, fair, and firm leadership values); (3) Propagation of anti-corruption values; and; (4) The importance of anti-corruption values in the film to contemporary social realities. Additionally, this study is hoped to inspire film-mediated learning to foster other values, including moral and cultural values. the empirical findings of this research will shed light on the usage of film as an educational tool for fostering other values such as morals, culture, etc. The research limitation in this study is the extent to which classroom-based instructional videos influence the cultivation of anti-corruption values.
