Abstract

Tumbuhan paku adalah salah satu tumbuhan yang dapat banyak ditemukan di Indonesia dan memiliki manfaat yang banyak. Kabupaten Musi Rawas merupakan salah satu daerah yang banyak terdapat keanekaragaman hayati, salah satunya yaitu tumbuhan paku (Pteridophyta) yang sampai saat ini belum ditemukan data berkaitan dengan tumbuhan paku di daerah tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendata jenis tumbuhan paku (Pteridophyta) di Kecamatan STL Ulu Terawas Kabupaten Musi Rawas, Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di 6 desa yang berada di Kecamalan STL Ulu Terawas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan eksplorasi langsung kelokasi penelitian dengan metode survey. Pegambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak dengan menggunakan metode random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu secara deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan tumbuhan paku (Pteridoplryta) sebanyak 23 jenis, yang terdiri dari 5 Kelas, 10 Ordo 16 Famili 19 Genus.

Abstract

Spesies capung di Bukit Cogong Kabupaten Musi Rawas banyak ditemukan, namun belum terdata dengan baik sehingga perlu dilakukan pendataan jenis capung dan kajian mengenai keanekaragaman. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji keanekaragaman capung famili Libellulidae di Bukit Cogong Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik menjelajah transek dengan menentukan 3 stasiun pengamatan. Setiap stasiun terdiri dari 5 buah transek dengan luas transek 100x100 m. Penangkapan famili libellulidae di Bukit Cogong Kabupaten Musi Rawas menggunakan jaring net, pengidentifikasian dengan melakukan pengamatan ciri-ciri morfologi capung famili Libellulidae. Terdapat 5 spesies capung dari famili Libellulidae yang ditemukan, yaitu: Orthetrum sabina, Neurothemis fluctuans, Bracythemis contaminata, Rhodothemis rufa, dan Onycothemis culminicola. Komposisi jenis yang paling tinggi yaitu Orthetrum sabina sebesar 46,34%, sedangkan yang paling rendah yaitu Onycothemis culminicola sebesar 6,09%. Indeks keseragaman termasuk kategori tinggi, komunitas stabil, indeks dominansi (C) termasuk kategori rendah dan indeks keanekaragaman termasuk kategori rendah dengan nilai sebesar 1,61.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the diversity of microalgae in the Barata Dam area, E. Wonokerto Village, Musi Rawas Regency. This research is included in quantitative descriptive research, this study uses a survey method by taking samples of microalgae in the Barata Dam Area, E. Wonokerto Village, Musi Rawas Regency, then the sample is examined at the Biology Laboratory of STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau. Types of microalgae found in the Barata Dam, E. Wonokerto Village, Musi Rawas Regency, 3 Divisions, 5 Classes, 14 Orders, 15 families, 15 genera and 15 species. The data that has been obtained from the research is then analyzed using the formula (Shannon-winer). The results of the diversity index of microalgae species at station I are 2,479, at station II the diversity index is 2,550 and at station III the diversity index is 2,836, the average diversity index from the three stations is 2,622 the index is classified as moderate. The types of microalgae from the Bacillariophytaceae class consist of 6 species including: Synedra ulna, Cylotella sp., Asterionella sp., Surirella sp., Tablelaria sp., and Rhizosolenia sp., Chlorophyceae class consists of 6 species including: Pleurotaenium sp. , Spirogyra sp., Closteridium sp., Selenastrum sp., Pediastrum duplex, and Microspora sp., Trebouxiophyceae class consists of 1 species namely: Chlorella sp., Ulvophyceae class consists of 1 species namely: Ulothrix sp., and Chyanophyta class consists of of only 1 species, namely: Oscillatoria sp., Abiotic factors found in the Barata Dam Area, E. Wonokerto Village, Musi Rawas Regency, namely: temperature (water) with an average (27.6 C), pH (water) with an average (7.7 ) and brightness (water ) with an average (76.1 Cm).

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Problem Based Instruction (PBI) terhadap Kemampuan Kreatif Mahasiswa Biologi STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau. Jenis penelitian ini ekperimen yang diawali dengan pemberian soal pretes dan penerapan model pembelajaran pada kedua kelas penelitian yang diakhiri dengan kegiatan postest. Pengolahan data pretes dan postes dengan menghitung jumlah skor dan dikonversikan kedalam bentuk nilai kemudian menginterpretasi nilai tersebut berdasarkan predikat. Dengan membandingkan hasil analisis data setiap kelas diketahui adanya perbedaan pada setiap kelas, sehingga diperoleh kesimpulanada pengaruh yang signifikan model problem based instruction (PBI) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa biologi STKIP PGRI Lubuk linggau.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keragaman dan kerapatan tumbuhan Liana di daerah aliran sungai Randi Desa Tanjung Agung Kecamatan Karang Jaya Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara Purposive Sampling pengambilan data menggunakan plot sistematik sebanyak 30 plot. Dari areal penelitian 3000 m ditemukan 20 spesies tumbuhan liana yang termasuk dalam 11 famili. Berdasarkan indeks Keragaman jenis (H’) didapatkan nilai 1,257. Berdasarkan kriteria Keragaman termasuk kategori sedang yakni (1,0 -1,5). Kepadatan Tumbuhan Liana ditemukan jumlah individu tertinggi adalah Tetracera scandens dengan jumlah kepadatan 46,67 batang/hektar, sedangkan yang memiliki jumlah kepadatan terendah adalah Calamus laevigatus dengan jumlah kepadatan 13,33 batang/hektar. hasil pengukuran faktor ekologi yang terdapat pada Daerah Aliran Sungai Randi Desa Tanjung Agung Kecamatan Krang Jaya Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara memiliki suhu udara yang berkisar antara 25 – 31 50 C, kelembaban udara berkisar antara 78-98 %, pH tanah berkisar antara 6,2 – 7,0 dan kelembaban tanah berkisar 0, 35 %.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of inquiry learning models on the learning outcomes of biology students in class X SMA Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental research methods. The population used was all students of class X SMA Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau, which consisted of 213 students and a sample of researchers, namely class X.1 for the experimental class and class X.2 for the control class. Data collection using tests. The data obtained were analyzed using t-test. From the research that has been done, it is obtained the post-test data of the experimental class and the control class with α = 0.05 obtained t-count = 4.06 and t-table = 1.67, because t-count> t-table, means the average score for the experimental class is higher than the control class, so it can be concluded that the inquiry learning model is effective for learning biology in class X students of SMA Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau. Abstract

The research aims at (1) finding the diversity index (H') of bushes vegetation stratum, and (2) abiotic environment factors at Cogong hill. This research used plotless method with Point Centered Quarter Method by classifying into three scopes, namely, research scope A, B and C with 10 items each. Based on the result, the diversity index average (H') of bushes vegetation stratum at Cogong hill in research scope A was 2,13; scope B was 1,77 and scope C was 1,61. The air temperature at Cogong hill was between 28,30C-300C, the air humidity was between 86 % - 93 %, the soil temperature was between 27,30C-29,60C, the soil humidity was between 8% - 17 % and the soil scale of acidity (pH) was between 6,3-6,7. In conclusion, the average of H' in scope A, B, and C was in medium-abundant category. Keywords : diversity , bushes stratum, protected forests, cogong hill

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of stratum vegetation in Sulap City, Lubuklinggau City based on composition, density of vegetation types and to know abiotic factors for stratum vegetation in Sulap Hill, Lubuklinggau City. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The method used is the distance method (Centered Quarter Point). The population in this study were all species of stratum vegetation in the Bukit Sulap vegetation in Lubuklinggau City. The analysis used is in the form of density, frequency, dominance, important value index, and diversity index. The results of the study, obtained data in the study area A found 16 species of pole strata. In the study area B, 14 species of stratum were obtained, whereas in the study area C, 24 species of stratum were found. Measured abiotic factors are the air temperature in the Sulap Hill of Lubuklinggau City ranging from 28.30C - 300C with air humidity of 86% - 93%. Soil moisture ranges from 8-17 while the acidity (pH) of the soil ranges from 6.3 to 6.7. Conclusion, the mean of the Important Value Index (INP) in the Pole strata in the areas of study A, B, and C respectively is ketapang, starfruit, and coffee. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of vegetation types in Bukit Cogong, Musi Rawas Regency based on composition, density of vegetation types. The population in this study were all plant species that exist in the Bukit Cogong vegetation of Musi Rawas Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the method used is the distance method (Point Centered Quarter), which measures the diameter of the type of vegetation of trees and shrubs closest to the sampling point. As for herbaceous vegetation using the distance method (point intercept), which is analyzing the type of herbaceous vegetation that is the fastest with the help of a point frequency frame tool. The procedure of this study refers to the area of ​​Bukit Cogong, Musi Rawas Regency, to determine the area of ​​the study area. The analysis used is density, frequency, dominance, important value index, and Shannon's diversity index and canopy stratification. The results obtained for tree level vegetation are 30 species, for bush vegetation found 16 species and for herbaceous vegetation found 17 species. The tree level diversity index in all study areas is in abundance. Conclusions, the bush level diversity index in the study areas A and B was moderate, while in the study area C the category was relatively abundant. Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the planting media of kolang kaling fruit peel waste and coffee skin on the height, number of leaves and leaf width of begonia plants. The method used in this research is a quantitative experimental method with two treatments of growing media, namely the waste of kolang kaling fruit peel and coffee rind waste. Data collection techniques using observation sheets. The results of observations on the growth of begonias were analyzed using independent t-test. The results showed that there was a difference in begonia plant height with the value of Sig. of 0.648. The number of begonia plant leaves obtained the value of Sig. by 0.007 and the width of the leaves of begonia plants by 0.309. In conclusion, there are differences in the use of planting media for waste skin of kolang kaling fruit and coffee husk waste planting media on the number of leaves on begonia plants.
